Beat it, it's like some trippy dream. It's not super clear what you're supposed to do... Good thing you were on the IRC. :3

Music was good though!

epiin 2018-04-23 03:06

may wanna add instructions either in game or on this page

amras0000 2018-04-23 03:10

It might be that I'm sleep deprived and tired, but a rocket falling onto me while I'm busy counting blades of grass is the most terrifying thing I've experienced today.

pahlsoftware 2018-04-23 05:17

The game refuses to run for me though it is probably my browser (firefox)

tero-pulkkinen 2018-04-23 05:24

it probably works in firefox too, but loading time is _long_...

shoj92 2018-04-23 21:28

Enjoyed the smooth music! Did you do it yourself or with a generator?

2018-04-23 22:20

Found the game to be... kind of confusing and not really engaging. There isn't any shooting or much space travel, it just seems like a weird experiment. Maybe the game could be better if it involved collecting resources to build your spaceship and shoot off monsters, and maybe land on another planet to do the same.

Good music but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do.

ekkoekko 2018-04-25 07:45

Good Game simple music. But I think you need to enhance the lighting of the game to make more user friendly. But for overall its a cool game Good job.

Can you Rate my game too? : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/gender-circle

Nice music and mood, but the loading does take a long time. The few times I tried I died quite early. First as I was waching another webside due while waiting for it to load. There does not seem to be a way of restarting, so you have to go through the loading process once more. (Played webversion in Chrome)

tero-pulkkinen 2018-04-25 15:42

@Freebo This restarting seems to be significant problem with the game. Waiting for loading time several times is bad, and there currently is no way to avoid it :( Thanks for noticing such trivial to fix problem, I'll have restarting feature available in the framework in next ludumdare.

This is a game with such a weird vibe that it seems like a game that could transform with crazy secrets that you find only after exploiting something that looks like a bug but was intended, especially with the piano notes that were out of place. Neat experience, but like many others, I wasn't really sure what to do.

It's kind of a trippy game. At first, we were a little puzzled on what the goal of the game is, until we read the description. Soon we found out how to get the points and transferred them to the rocket. The game definately made us feel like we were in a different world.

Well, I barely had any idea what was going on, but I surely enjoyed the mystery and mood a lot! I'm sorry that I couldn't quite understand it but I do appreciate the avantgardish approach. We also did a kinda convoluted point & click 1st person storytelling game last time, so I know the challenge there :)

What is this, a David Lynch game? Seriously wild and bizarre. The strange atmosphere mixed with the occasional discordant music really threw me for a loop. I'm reminded of games like "Myst" where you have to discover some deeper meaning or secrets throughout the game. I started to get the hang of things after a few minutes, but man... seriously, this overall feel is disconcerting. And that's not a bad thing!

marioman68 2018-04-28 23:09

this was not what i was expecting but knida cool. like others said maybe some in game instructions would be good but otherwise nice.

evan-minto 2018-04-29 03:03

Hard to figure out what to do but man this is a pretty surreal game. The visuals are really rudimentary but kind of remind me of a lot of early computer graphics tech demos in terms of the weird mix of spacey futurism and classic architecture. Nice music too.

uvwar 2018-04-29 16:56

Very strange! I really like you visuals though, especially the grass!

yancharkin 2018-04-29 19:09

Your game has some strange charm. But I'll be honest - I don't get it. :-) I collected and transferred 100 points, but shuttle crashed anyway.

tero-pulkkinen 2018-04-29 21:41

@yancharkin If you happen to hit the stones while transfering the score, the transfer might fail. So proper transfer only happens if you're inside the shuttle's launchpad.

ratherjolly 2018-05-04 02:23

YES!!! I freaking made that rocket soar xD Interesting game. It reminded me of my C++ days with OpenGL!

strangeryann 2018-05-08 20:56

I found your game confusing... concretely, in order to win, I have to run in circles and collect the golden spheres, correct? I had a score of over 100 yet the rocket failed to launch, I found that a bit underwhelming ^^# Also the golden spheres don't disappear when you collect them, I find that confusing too. I found it confusing also that this is an FPS yet you can't play using the mouse. All in all in terms of graphics and sound it's pretty original, and it's pretty impressive if you coded the engine yourself, but yeah... better luck next time I hope :-)

euske 2018-05-10 22:01

It feels almost like a poetic interpretation of rocket lunching. "Collection" of points isn't very clear, because you can go back and forth on the same position to get multiple points. I hope the player can do a bit more something. Tank control is a bit weird.
