LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

HellScape by Cassio Eduardo 2018-04-24T16:00:45Z

Really enjoyed the resolution and the overall DOOM/Quake esque inspiration behind it. It's a cool game and I had some fun with it and really liked the idea behind it. A bit more polish, some nice kick ass music and maybe a more low poly artstyle would make this game even cooler. :)

Rhythm Quest by achebit 2018-04-24T16:47:49Z

This is super cool! I really enjoyed this game. :) The idea is as simple as it is fun and the overall presentation is just exactly my kind of thing. I admit that yes, attacking and defending could feel a bit more satisfying but I enjoyed the game nontheless. Maybe the beats could work more with some sort of own rythm? Not so sure, this is the first rythm game I actually enjoyed so yea. Great work! <3 Only real complain I have: My Z and Y key are reversed (qwertz keyboard) so the beginning part was really hard to get into. Changing my keyboard setting didn't work and I totally blame Unity for that! :D Anyway, a fantastic little game, I really enjoyed it.

Typer Boost by petitpois 2018-04-24T22:12:41Z

Very interesting idea. I love the graphics and the idea. The sounddesign is nice and it has a certain "typing of the dead" level of ridiculousness to it. The only thing that kind of bothered me a bit was the way I sometimes had (or at least felt that I had to) time my word entries correct so I would barely make another jump above an obstacle. Still enjoyed the game :)

Cursed Princess by Unentokku 2018-04-26T20:30:53Z

Interesting game. :) At first it seemed to be just a tiny and rather unpolished game but it turned out to be a really rather interesting experience. I admit I really like the artstyle! I guess the naive yet consistent look just works for me. Great work! <3

Legend of Zoom by pkenney 2018-04-25T10:43:13Z

Very interesting concept! :) I really enjoyed it once I got into the mechanics. A few suggestions: having two swords(one on each side) would have been a lot more helpful as well as maybe not having the enemies hurt me simply by touching (even though I admit that might make it to easy). Really enjoyed the game though and would love to see an updated version to it, maybe with some puzzles? :D

Eggplant Kindergarten by LiquidBrain 2018-04-24T18:09:54Z

It is amazing how much work you guys managed to stuff into this in such a short amount of time! D: Respect! I really enjoyed the overall character of the game, the handdrawn graphics and animations, the simple voice acting, the Eggplant education lesson disguised as a quiz! ;D Really liked the whole presentation and the game itself! You seem to be a perfect team and it really shows in this! :) Really great game you guys! <3

Shoot 'N Hockey by Adam Trzeszczak 2018-04-24T18:02:34Z

Hahha okay that was fun! :D Are you actually shooting bananas? That is so random, I love it! Also that music! <3 Very fun little game, nothing to complicated, very nice! :)

Tour de France Legstrong by Freebo 2018-04-24T22:20:43Z

That was cool! :D I felt like the controls where a bit tough to get used to (switching between Hands VS just trying to move with my left hand instead of my right) but in the end that was somehow part of the game's charme. I love the artstyle and it actually feels really satisfying to drive through zombies, even though I am not supposed to do that <3

Dungeon Exploder by wizard sino 2018-04-24T23:14:46Z

Okay this might be my favorite so far! :) Blowing stuff up feels sooooo satisfying and the overall idea is just so cool. I love how it slowly turns more and more from a Dungeon Crawler into a space shooter and how you managed to create a cute yet annoying sidecharacter. ;D Very well done! I absolutely enjoyed this game. :)

Quickdraw by nudle 2018-04-24T16:33:34Z

Once I understood how the game works (at first I thought it was simply a rather slow quake clone) I really started to enjoy it! The mapdesign, the idea, the models, it all works very nicely together! Things I would love to see in an update: A bit more bounceyness(like Doom or quake's movement), a bit faster when no cards are aplied, adjustable mouse speed. Overall this is a pretty solid and cool idea and I would love to see what you can evolve this into! <3

Helsing by davidsheadgames 2018-04-25T10:56:40Z

Love it! I did not expect something this polished and atmospherical to be honest. :D Really enjoyed the game. Only minor complains I have: Being able to hold down a direction key would be cool (maybe have a shor delay between every action anyway?) and being able to use the arrow keys(this is more a personal thing because I like using them more if I don't need WASD). Really amazing game though! <3 :)

Bump Quest 6 by Siactro 2018-04-24T17:55:56Z

Thanks a lot for the nice words you guys! :D Really appreciate it! <3 So far it became rather clear that the car controls need a lot of work and are just too hard / too loose and that the game's objective simply isn't clear. :) Shouldn't have messed around with both so late in development I guess! x) Will absolutely update those things after the jam! Thanks again to you all! :) <3 PS: @dudum-lare : Woaah thanks a bunch! <3 I hope you have an awesome day too! :D

Bump Quest 6 by Siactro 2018-04-24T21:30:43Z

Woah, thanks a lot @juutis. :D That really means a lot! <3 And thanks again to all you other guys. I uploaded an updated "AfterJam" version with improved controls and a few other tiny things. I hope it gets rid of the annyoing controls! :) Also I left the original jam version still up of course!

Car driving angry man. by SNOK TROK 2018-04-25T21:28:47Z

I have to admit, the overall presentation was at first a bit offputting for me. However I gave the game a try because I like the aesthetic you where going for and after some getting used to the kind of unpolished controls I started to really enjoy my time with the game :) It reminded me of a mix between something like Doom and Sonic Adventure (yea... weird I know). I really started to like the core concept and managed to beat the big purple demon thing (best ending! <3). I would love to see this a bit more polished because I really believe this can become something really cool and fun to play! <3
