Really enjoyed the resolution and the overall DOOM/Quake esque inspiration behind it. It's a cool game and I had some fun with it and really liked the idea behind it. A bit more polish, some nice kick ass music and maybe a more low poly artstyle would make this game even cooler. :)

Nice game! Works nicely and looks okay I guess. There is a lots of weapons and that's a bonus!
That's an amazing amount of content for 3 days of work, good job! Absolutely love the aesthetic, makes me think of Doom, the monsters as well. Unfortunately I died pretty quickly every time but I got to see a few parts of the map, they all looked very coherent and like I actually was teleported into some entirely different world. Very cool! Controls were also pretty smooth (once I lowered the quality a bit). I especially like the pixelization layer/shader over the screen. Only downside was that it seemed pretty hard to get new weapons and the game wasn't very forgiving. Nice entry!
Really liked the old-school fps style. Somehow I read the description but still got confused when I got insta-killed from behind by the wave that chasing me! Maybe a death screen with some info about how you died, or a animated death would help silly players like me understand quicker. Lots of depth, cool models created, decent controls and I kept wanting to play again to get further!

Easily one of my favourite games that I've played in this jam so far. For 72 hours is quite amazing i think. The only thing i'll say is to have a non-disruptive cursor to see what you are shooting at and polish the menu screen a bit. Once again - awesome entry.

I like a lot of stuff in this game, the Doom-style graphics, for example, are awesome.
Although, I felt that this game has a lack of balance - i.e. you die too easily, the player's guns feel a bit underpowered and the chance you actually find stuff is quite rare (at least in my run, maybe it was a one-time thing).
Good job nonetheless! :)
Only stopped playing to write this, great game guys! Everything works, the art-style makes me happy and the fact that I have to run and gun forces me to play this game the right way. Good game, both in concept and execution!
Nice I really enjoyed this. I couldn't tell if i was running in circles, but i think it was, which is really cool. I could see changing up the path in surprising ways. Like, after i get used to making the same turn a few times, suddenly i find it blocked. Also I would have liked some more awareness of the flame encroaching from behind. Anyway I really enjoyed it. Thanks for all the feedback.
@ragtagradical I actually implemented variants and branching paths in the generator, but didn't have enough time to model the variations, unfortunately.
I like it. Great old-school shooter vibe with a twist. It's a little rough around the edges, but it's also definitely an above average entry with top marks for graphics and mood.

Really like the idea, besides the fact that it is essencially an autoscroller.
But it would be nice to pickup weapons and powerups on contact and it woult be even better if the range of pickups where a little higher, like, I need to walk way too close to them for the game to register the pickups. Also, the walking speed feels too slow and the game would benefit greatly from a crosshair.
Solid entry, but needs some refinement before it can be called a great game. Worth building into. I'm waiting for it.
A good entry, fun to play with nice old school graphics!

I like the DOOM vibe of this game, just running, shooting and escaping the fire wall. It's really cool. The graphics and the gameplay are very nice. Congrats!
This is pretty impressive! It's like a de-make of Doom of sorts ^^# I find the variety of the Level Design and the size of the map are really impressive considering it was all done in 72h tops, kudos to you in this respect! Beyond that, it's the consideration in level design I'd question - like the fact that you got a wall of lava chasing you making you rush everything... was that strictly necessary ^^#? Same aith the weapon pickyp key - why not opt for automatic pickup? I found the whole game rather difficule, even moreso with my old PC which made it lag ^^#, then all in all I'd say the bonuses looked too similar, especially in a game where you're supposed to outrun lava at any given moment so you have no time to ponder - I'd advice for you to find a way to indicate life and/or where the lava is at compared to you visually more explicitly so you can know whare you're standing AND continue like... staying alive, running around and shooting ennemies, at the same time ^^# But all in all, very impresive, good job!
Whew! That was intense. I'm not a habitual player of shooters, so that part in itself was a bit tricky for me to do well at, and then I had to do all the running away from the wall of fire in addition to that. :p Nicely done! Those pits one could fall into were merciless!
I think this might've actually worked really well with automatic running and player choices along the way, kind of like Temple Run? I think it could be really interesting.
Really neat graphics. Despite, again, not really playing shooters, I do recognise the Doom homages! Audio was a bit barebones but I think bad speakers also was a bit of an issue on my side, where I almost couldn't hear anything besides the shooting. Maybe I should try again with headphones!
Fun idea and good execution with an impressive amount of content, altho I do believe in automated running! I'm guessing the levels are actually endless and procedurally stitched together from pieces? Or am I just too bad to reach the end? c:
Good work!
