Missing instructions. It may be that some of the assets are missing- some objects looked like incorrect asset loads. Keep rocking!

A card game showdown. Beat the bots, collect cards, find the golden king of bots, and kill em'. It was innovative, but left me wishing for Anti-Gravity and a more motivating goal.

@MoistGames Thanks for the feedback! A lot of stuff is pretty unfinished/placeholder but I haven't seen anything completely missing, though we'll look into it - we have some instructions on this page though they are a bit sparse, I'll try to improve them a little but the general idea is that cards give you weapons, abilities or tweak your movement and those cards are found around the map and sometimes when you kill enemies

Find the bigger gold enemy and kill him to win, we were a little pushed for time so it's not quite the victory condition we wanted but we'll keep working on it and hopefully expand basically everything into a much fuller game

This was enjoyable, I managed to cheese most of my kills by standing back. It was fun to explore looking for the cards I needed, and looking for all the turrets. I liked the underground areas, very moody. I did manage to beat the final big yellow turret, he had massive amounts of health. Nice job

I really like the concept of it, I think the card mechanic would make a great game. I did end up filling my hand with a bunch of running fast cards and the enemies could have been a bit more challenging, not too clear if they need to hit you or when they shot near you you get damaged as well. With more diversity and time this could be a promising project :)

\It is a nice entry though it is a bit stale. Enemies should move or do something. After 5 mins it gets a bit boring. Also, add an indicator of what are your current statuses (like moon boy). But still, the entry is quite nice. The art is good for the part you made.

really amazing job, now i wish for more modes, multiplayer and more!

Once I understood how the game works (at first I thought it was simply a rather slow quake clone) I really started to enjoy it! The mapdesign, the idea, the models, it all works very nicely together! Things I would love to see in an update: A bit more bounceyness(like Doom or quake's movement), a bit faster when no cards are aplied, adjustable mouse speed. Overall this is a pretty solid and cool idea and I would love to see what you can evolve this into! <3

Hey, I've played the game and have to say it's really funny, maybe a bit repetitive after some time but it has a good base. Great job!

Great game! I loved the mechanics of a card-based FPS! This is a really well done combination! It was fun, innovative, and fit the theme! Now, I do wish it wasn't a cube environment, but it's Ludum Dare, so it doesn't matter that much (good job modelling the weapons, BTW). I would love to see an extended (and maybe procedurally generated? That would be insane!) post jam release!

Good job, and good luck!

Thank you for all the kind comments and feedback :)

This is a okay interesting concept, but I am not sure if this game brings too much new to the FPS genre. What is here is very well made, and it is overall a fine LD game.

The concept of this game is quite interesting. I had to constantly pick up cards from enemies to destroy them. However I would personally appreciate faster action (things like wall run, double jump...). Also there was significant lag while loading the game even though my laptop has a decent graphics card. Some optimization worth working on there! Overall I really like this idea, can we expect a polished version soon? ( ̄_, ̄ )

Pretty fun game, well executed... small bug when bringing out and selecting cards but its just visual nothing much. love the concept and models! For some reason optimization is needed? My computer just started roaring as i launched the game but... was pretty fun anyway!
