very charming game :)
really fun and complete. Well put together!
Cool game! I think the digging mechanic could use so more polish but this was very good for the time given.
could not figure out how to complete the pizza though the mining was fun and it was a good concept.
Such a wonderfully creative concept! Visuals are fantastic and the game plays great, love this one!
I literally laughed when seeing the thumbnail, GJ !!
Fun take on the theme. The flying and ingredient collecting feels really great. It took me while to figure out how to submit a completed recipe. I thought I just had to make the pizza and walk away but eventually I noticed the button.
Wow! I really wanna cook some outerspace pizzas now, amazing game!
spaceship cook,GJ!
This is legit. I love the theme and the melding of digging + restaurant serving. Also pizza planet just looks like a great place to hang out.
I really loved the way you used the theme to make this game. It was really fun to play! The way the music changes as you're digging deeper and deeper to find the ingredients is very cool ! The graphics are also charming. I just have a little thing to point out as I'm using an AZERTY keyboard, I struggled a bit using the controls and would have liked to use the arrow keys instead ^^'. But really nice job !
Haha, great twist! Drilling for ingredients, really creative. Nice work.
What a cool game! I included it in my compilation video series of a bunch of LDJAM games! https://youtu.be/joQCxT9jLww
**+** excellent audio and visuals, high polish
**+** lots of flavor, great take on the theme
**+** it's a pizza planet and the ufo is spinning to dig for basil leaves and pepperoni
**-** I often wanted to dig while in the air
**-** The "complete pizza" buttons seemed mostly unnecessary
**-** The hitboxes for ingredients could be slightly bigger
Incredible entry!
I enjoyed the overall feel and design of this one. It was a really creative way to explore the theme without doing the same thing everyone else did. I agree it would be nice to have the complete pizza buttons removed and have them complete automatically maybe with a notification. It took me a bit to figure that out. But I really did enjoy it and it would be fun to see future releases with additional areas to explore. Maybe other foods.
I had a lot of fun with this one. Made me feel a little frantic like overcooked or something similar. I loved the spin on the theme of “mining” for ingredients. I see a lot of potential here with this one. Nice job!
$1,390 final score. What a great mashup of genres! The closest thing I've seen to this is Battle Chef Brigade, in terms of having an ingredient collection portion and a cooking portion being different minigames.
I haven't seen a game utilize mining the way you have though, as mining games usually just have a straight up upgrade mechanic once you reach town. With your system though, it creates some actual thought in the mining since you have to gun for recipes. This creates decisions like "am I ahead on time for recipes? Maybe I can start carving out a route towards these mushrooms in case I get a swarm of those recipes".
As simple as it was, I actually really enjoyed the cooking portion. Several times I found myself teetering on the edge of failure, whether it was an order about to go away, or the round time itself was going to run out. So clicking on those relatively small ingredient icons was nerve-wracking, in a good way.
This seemed like a random mashup at first but the more I played it, the more I understood just how well the mechanics worked together. Kudos for making a mining game that's more than just a mining game!
This was fun. I wanted to dig blocks while flying but other than that, this was put together really well.
Amazing! Really like the mix of gameplay, art style and DELICIOUS PIZZA. Seriously, who wouldn't enjoy a pizza planet?
Definitely had fun playing this one. Overcooked vibes but with less frustrations, haha. I like the dynamic of flying the ship out, there were a couple times I had to haul ass out of those pizza caves to make the last pizzas in time. Definitely made me laugh. That little edition of ship physics as you race back to the surface was a fun little twist.
This would be interesting as a multiplayer game where you are racing for ingredients and ramming each other out of the way.
Well done, team!
Wonderful! Taking the classic food order fulfillment genre to the next level by requiring you to scavenge for ingredients. My main critique is to let us close the menu with E, the same way you open it. Too often I lost time when I forgot it doesn't close with E. Thanks for submitting the game to us to stream!
I really like the art and how it all plays together. The music getting quieter as you go lower
This was really fun and made me very hungry for pizza! Love the take on Deeper and Deeper to mean a deep dish pizza planet that you drill into to make, er, pizza, haha. It looked very polished and was a creative take on Cook Serve Delicious combined with mining games. I do wish that the controls were a little more snappy, as I'd often swing wildly around and waste valuable time in open areas (such as near the restaurant or in big underground caves). But otherwise this was a fantastic and highly polished game, especially given the constraints of the jam! Amazing job!
Managed to trap myself underground
This was really fun :) I think the main thing I would have wanted (at least, if the game were to be longer) was an extra bit to do while mining- e.g., avoiding/fighting some kind of spacemole? The current mechanics work well for the game's length, though!
I really liked this game! Funny and very well executed. The gameplay was fun and engaging!
Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful feedback!
I'm currently working my way down the list to play your games so I can return the favor!
(No guarantees I'll be able to get to everyone but I'll try my best)
Well this game was adorable and fun to play! I loved the music and the transitions as the little ship went deeper underground. The color palette is well selected and the design of everything vibes really nicely together. The blade coming out of the ship when drilling was also a really nice bit of polish. Great submission!
Lovely take on the theme! Nice and simple to control, a very enjoyable experience. Extra points for the great graphics!
Ah yes, the classic "You are a UFO mining to make pizzas" theme  Love it! The game gets a bit laggy while I am digging though (yes, my PC is very very old  so no worries, this does not affect my ratings )
One small suggestion I have is to extend the area where you can grab the ingredients. Hitting the icon feels a bit fiddly. Otherwise well executed!
A few things:
Don't know if thats only my pc, but the game starrted to lag pretty quickly, maybe you could do an optimized version, for lower technical standarts.
Apart from that I really liked it. The difficulty was way to hard, at least for me, I could hardly manage to get all the ingredients in time. Especially at the beginning, because I didn't get the controls. More explanation would help.
Also: I would have loved to be able to dig to the left and right in mid-air and not only when grounded, because to always pick up ingredients from above took time and made the game much harder. Else the UFO controls were great.
But really like the concept and fits the theme on the point, and could imagine a larger game with more ingredients, bigger terrain and some other mechanics.
What also could lower the difficulty would be to remove the topping component. Its a nice toouch and it was fun to put on the ingredients after collecting them. But it really took more time then necessary and i think the game could do with a simpler method as well. If you want to keep it maybe increase the pizza order time.
But these are all small changes and the game right now is already really fun and complex for such a small amount of time. I invested quite some time in this one!
fantastic genre mashup, and excellent polish! this could be a full game; motherload was an excellent game and this takes the original formula in a very interesting direction
I liked how the game had a progress meter ("day 1/4") -- that's something I should have put in my game!
I wish there weren't separate levels, but instead a single infinite/large level so that your past choices stuck around.
Thanks for the game!

Cute and original. Really appealing and consistent visuals, I want to see more of this world! And I loved how the pizza parlor music faded out as I dug deeper. I enjoyed the feel of the game, the mechanics, the music and the graphics. I think they only thing that would've made it better is some type of power ups or some type of upgrades, but that's not a critique so much as it is a request. This is a very solid showing for a game jam, excellent work all!
When I first started a was a little lost on how to actually get the ingredients for the pizza. I pressed E expecting to see a guide that would tell me what kind of pizza that someone wanted. I didn't successfully make any pizzas the first day as a result.
Once I figured out that I had to drill to get the ingredients I found it someone challenging to start rows to get to the ingredients I needed. Multiple times there would be a empty hole and right next to it would be the ingredients I wanted but I couldn't drill sideways from above easily. I could only drill from the floor.
On the 4th day I also discovered certain ground that I couldn't drill into. I don't know if these always existed and I didn't notice or if Day 4 was made harder.
I did like how the recipies would repeat. I would often find myself going down in search of ingredients for pizza and by the time I got what I needed that order had gone away but another customer would often order it so it all worked out.
Thank you for sharing your game.
cute little game that mixes two mechanics very neatly. my only complaint is that on the pizza assembly it was not obvious what to do when complete. i did not notice the buttons on the pizzas right away. thanks for making this game.
! It took a while to figure out how to assemble the pizza, once I got the hang of it I had so much fun with with it! The theme is quirky and the music changes when digging is a very nice touch. You out did yourselves!
This was really fun and innovative! I love the premis and the mechanics. i dont know if the gravity was supposed to be an antagonistic force but it did make things a bit more difficult. I'm assuming that was purposeful. I lvoe the color scheme and at first i was a little confused. I had to ask someone how to make the pizzas lol. It was very fun tho!
Interesting take on overcooked/pizza tycoon :D
This is a great and innovative mashup of mechanics. Drilling into a planet of pizza to make pizzas for guests? Awesome. "Dig In"? Awesome, haha. I liked how the later levels started to introduce some puzzle-like navigation, requiring the player to think about how to get where they wanted to go. I think the UI in pizza-building mode could have been streamlined a bit. I appreciated how you used the existing UI elements for the player's resources and the active orders, but it required a lot of mouse movement and dragging all across the screen that didn't feel all that great. Perhaps auto-completing orders when the pizza matches or a submit button near the pie (or an action like flinging the pie out) could have helped.
Hah who knew it was so difficult to get pizza ingredients out in the space colonies?! Excellent combination of game styles with cheesy restaurant music to match :)
By way of criticism, I felt the digging element could have gone just a touch quicker to help it feel a bit more manic. Otherwise, great stuff!
Really, really, really loved this entry. You guys did a great job making something fun and unique. I streamed my session so you can see my first impressions and full feedback! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1002194657?t=01h03m30s
The game is quite strange but also interesting, it congratulates the idea and execution.
Nice take on the theme. I would say this is one of my favorite games so far. Nice Work!
