WallBreaker by maskinmask 2022-10-12T18:13:17Z

Very interesting concept and with a great visual style! The unselecting bit felt unnecesary, maybe there is a reason, but I don't see why I can't just click on someone and they stay selected until I click on someone else. The idea is interesting but you being distributed the resources randomly felt like there wasn't much control and most of the time you only had enough resources to accomplish one protestor's request so there wasn't much thinking either. If it was possible for you to control in some way the resources you got I think it would have been much better, maybe either with some very short mini-game or with requests for resources that would be granted once you accomplish certain tasks. It seems like the different type of protestors act in slighlty different ways. When selecting a protestor it would be nice to see with an orange text box or sth similar, what kind they are and also what special thing for that specific kind of protestor.

Overall, really nice idea and lovely art, with a bit of iterations I can see it becoming quite fun!

Gelato Drift by thomz12 2022-10-12T18:27:19Z

Great art and really polished car movement! At the beginning I was just driving without even realising I had to go and deliver ice-cream cause just driving was fun on its own, so well done on that!

Relay PeaJay by aeveis 2022-10-11T12:53:08Z

Love the birdies! The game was quite fun as well, especially at the last bit when I could just dash with bonking into stuff! I think some improvements can be made on the controls, but overall really good! Well done!

Tecton Inc. by notnasiul 2022-10-09T19:01:30Z

Fantastic game, always a sucker for the pico-8 aesthetic! I like the mechanic of not getting the points immediately but having to deliver them to the ship. I feel like it might have been better instead of every diamond being 5 points depending on how many diamonds you deliver to get some kind of multiplier for that delivery. To make the player even greedier and try to hord as many diamonds at once as possible. And honestly, can't think of any other tips, it's a very polished and well designed game :)

7 in 1 in 10 by joewan 2022-10-13T01:15:21Z

Love it, I'm a sucker for minigame collections! The aesthetic, the minigames themselves (the meatball one is always hilarious, no matter how many times I play it), the voices, sound effects, music, just everything felt so right. I'm incredibly impressed, since I've done a minigame collection before in a previous jam and I know how much work goes into and for you to have polished them so much is just... wow

Forest of the Lost by MartensCedric 2022-10-03T23:19:03Z

Great entry! Love the idea of having to keep track of where the monsters are. I died a lot in the beginning but I got more patient and that helped. I found Lily but I could only see her mom, couldn't find a way to interact with her sadly. Did I miss something?

Forest of the Lost by MartensCedric 2022-10-03T23:38:00Z

@winter2277 Thank you for the hint! I went back and actually reached the credits this time, I can't believe I missed the best part the first time I played haha

Candy Eden by tharky 2022-10-05T11:43:24Z

Fantastic Adventure Tiem-esque art! Loved it alongside the general vibe of the game. It is quite hard to play currently but I feel like with a slower paced beginning would help quite a lot. And as other people mention some more feedback on what is happening when would be nice, maybe the ability boxes having some animation when they activate.

Watch Out by 100th_Coin 2022-10-08T09:51:34Z

Dang this game is fun! This is an insanely good jam entry, well done! I'm gonna be shocked if this game doesn't make it in the top 10 of most of the categories, truly deserves it!

Speed Barber by PhoenixofForce 2022-10-12T12:30:34Z

Quite an original idea for the theme. Easily understandable and really fun, well done! Can't really even think of any specific critiques :)

The Legend of CAPYBARA! by thiagowaw 2022-10-03T23:42:21Z

It's fun! The jumps are a bit too tight for my liking but I managed somehow. Not sure if there was actually some kinda 10 seconds mechanic in the game or if the title is just a joke haha

Sinister Urbanism by SudoCat 2022-10-04T00:43:34Z

I can't emphasise how much the artwork vibed with me. Music was jam as well. Maybe it was on my sad but the text was quite small and hard to read because of the font. I wasn't sure what the point of the game itself was, maybe I just didn't play long enough to reach it

The Potion Shop - an LGBT story by Gabriel Dias Oliveira de Almeida 2022-10-12T22:18:29Z

Love the way you intertwined the potion mixing with the story, the art is excellent and the game has a very polished feel to it, it feels like vertical slice of a full game. An interesting that can be thought about is depending on the player you could practically skip the whole conversation to make sure you get the potion correct. Most likely someone like that wouldn't play the game at all but one thing that can be done just in case is to have a special interaction that activates only if a player skipping text. The other character could say "are you paying attention to me" or sth of the sort and that line should be left to remain for a few seconds to make sure the player realises what they did! Another suggestion would be to have put all the potion in a single run instead of having to start again and hope you get a different one. But overall a really solid submission, well done :)

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-04T00:14:42Z

@boxedmeatrevolution Good suggestion, I agree it would improve it

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-04T00:18:36Z

@vgel Yeah, I saw that it doesn't work but the ludum dare team know about it and are fixing it so I left it in case it gets fixed soon.

Yeah, that's the exact reason we went with a scroller. The scoring for the strikes is a bit vague. For stuff the characters say is an X you get 2 Xs and for stuff with a minus you get one x

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-04T00:20:11Z

@mrs-wheelsx It does happen to me too in some browsers

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-04T00:24:28Z

@sirdorius It should be guaranteed that items with topics the person likes show up, but it can be hard to notice before you have enough information. I agree that there should've sth to make it more clear.

Thanks for the tip! I did see it and thought I uploaded the version with the replacements but it might not have went through, will try again later

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-04T10:04:25Z

@rosymaple Thank you for playing! You're definitely right about it needing more explanation, I might add more info to the page

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-05T00:07:08Z

@olivieryc The trick is to only keep the character you are aiming in the like state

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-08T07:01:36Z

@gn0cchi Oh man, it really does have similarities with the fire emblem tea time haha, didn't realise that at at all while making it

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-08T07:35:08Z

@alex5041 Congrats on being the first player to prove they reached an ending! And no less than the best ending if I do say so myself

I am glad you didn't find the game difficult. I think the difficulty comes from the lack of explanation in the game itself and if you read the rules page and know how things work it's actually not that bad. Guess for the next jam I'll strive to make things clearer in game, maybe even adding a tutorial if possible.

I did debate whether the used items should be removed or not, in the end they remained mainly because it was easier to show that something was used and cannot be used again than it vanishing and the player possibly not being sure if they used it and what happened to it. But I would agree that it could be improved and removing them could be the better option.

Thank you for playing and for leaving feedback!

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-08T07:48:02Z

@jamdong15 Thank you for playing!

Thank you for your feedback as well! I appreciate it very much! 1. The plus and minus signs are lighter variants of the hearts and Xs respectively. 2. The idea was originally to have all the response options shown together but figured it might be too easy if that was the case, but adding a scroller that only showed one response at a time might not have been the best solution. This part of the game could definitely be reworked to be less spammy, I agree. 3. That is the main issue with the game, that the rules aren't easy to understand just from playing. I will definitely take this in mind for the next jam I participate in and try to incorporate a tutorial or in-game instructions of some sort.

Glad you had fun :)

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-12T19:34:25Z

@lilamuse Hmm, not a bad idea

Guess I will, look out for them in the main feed :)

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-12T21:38:35Z

@ehon I know of at least one more which is [Speed Dating for Misfits](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/speed-dating-for-misfits), give it a try if you want it's pretty fun! I heard there may be one or two more but haven't found them yet

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-15T11:56:07Z

@aeveis Thank you for playing and giving feedback! You're completely right, the game is hardest in the beginning when the player is still getting used to it which is not a good feeling. I'll keep this in mind for future game jams :)

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-21T21:31:19Z

@iamsodarncool Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and hope you get the ending you want if you go back to the game :)

Love is Legal: Speed Dating For Criminals by Krasimir Balchev 2022-10-22T13:32:01Z

@itsboats Thank you for playing and giving feedback! I completely agree that about the locked controls in the short time period before the start. Other people also expressed annoyance with that and looking back at it now it was a big oversight, will learn from this mistake. I'm really glad you got an ending different from Coppo's XD

Your game was great! I loved the way you implemented speed dating and you had a few things I wanted to add as well but didn't manage to, like an ending collection screen and a mini-game. I was very impressed so I'm glad you found our team's game interesting :)

Robbie Robot by Firesplash Entertainment 2022-10-14T21:12:48Z

The game looks very cute and jumping is fun but it feels a bit off in some places. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose but the Robbie's fall feels too steep. Pretty much as soon as you run off a platform without jumping he will fall straight down. There were times when I thought I could just let him run without jumping but the sudden fall actually made that hard or impossible. Might have been the intention since he is a robot made of metal so it makes sense that he should be heavy but still it just didn't click with me. Whenerver I fell and got revived there were a couple of seconds where I couldn't control Robbie or at least moving him horizontally even though he had already appeared on screen. Maybe either let the player control him as soon as he appears or give some kind of sign when you can't control him and when you can. Maybe just a flashing animation would do.

For a Compo game this isn't bad, probably even better than what I could make so good job :)

Pet the Damn Cat! by Deprecat 2022-10-14T01:16:05Z

Brilliant concept and execution on it! The art is very nice, has a homey atmosphere, the juggling two different tasks aspect is done quite well, just well done really :)

One small thing I can think of to consider is the cat petting. It took me a while, and judging by the comments others also had a similar issue, to realise I just needed to leave the mouse standing still on the cat in the right spot instead of moving it about to similuate a petting motion. Maybe just adding in somewhere in the tutorial that the mouse has to be still would be good enough. I had a similar issue with the nodding minigame where I thought I had to move the mouse to nod but I only actually needed to hold down the left mouse button.

[X-ED OUT] by Nash 2022-10-09T18:44:54Z

Love this game! It definitely has the potential to be developed further! Most of the things that can be said already have been but one thing I didn't see through my brisk read of the comments is that sometimes the 10 second time to get coins would be cut short. This happened to me a couple of times. Not sure if I didn't understand something. But other than that an amazing game jam entry!

Blink by JUSTCAMH 2022-10-15T12:57:43Z

Genius, this is on another level for a game jam. When I first saw I had to scan QR codes I felt like this is gonna be something special. And then after some thought, I wasn't sure why there needed to be QR codes if it's just text but after finishing the game I can't imagine the game without them. The pure excitement I got when finding one and having to scan it with my phone would have been completely gone if it was just text in the game. Not only that but it serves as a great way to deliver messages and story that feel out of this worldly. Great addition!

Not only does the game have a sublime way of revealing its story and mechanics to you but the mechanics themselves are also just really creative. Having to figure them out as you play and learning the layouts of the levels is truly fun.

No wonder Terry Cavanagh recommended your game, it feels like one of those jam games that can be built and developed on further. It's fun playing jam games but it's rare for one no matter how short to make you want to play to the end and it's even less likely for one to make you yearn for more and this one did that for me. Truly well done and I hope you decide to delve deeper into this game :)

TeleSpy by Neon Glass 2022-10-20T23:52:48Z

Love the concept and it's executed pretty well! I think the levels could be made to be a bit more suited to the mechanic. I was also able to just teleport into the white void outside of the levels which made things quite easy. While I think it's a good decision to correct for where the player teleports to if they teleport into a wall maybe the player should be punished if the whole teleport circle is within a wall. Overall tho, very good, I had fun playing it and that's what's important :)

Starmony by bamberga 2022-10-05T15:16:02Z

Great submission! The artwaork, effects, sounds, just everything felt quite polished. Seems like a nice relaxing game to just chill and play while looking at beautiful colors. I wasn't really sure what the black stars did, if they just spawned to be like obstacles or hadsome special effect. It also seemed like they didn't spawn every 10 seconds but maybe because I one of the shooting star immediately hit it on spawning and it vanished

ANIMAL HOLE by ben_throop 2022-10-13T14:03:45Z

This... this is the game! I'm very glad this exists. If I was held at gun point and had to give a critique, I'd say that the images that weren't animal holes were very easy to guess. While it is funny to have some silly ones, some actually hard ones would've been more fun I think. I also realise the purpose of the game is just to be fun, but adding in a timer for every question would have been a really good addition in my opinion. When you answer you get the remaining time as points, and this one addition would add more replayability and more tension to get it right as soon as fast as possible. It would pretty much turn it into those Good Mythical Morning episodes where they guess blurred or zoomed images if you're familiar with them. Here's a one such episode if you're not familiar and interested to check it out: [Can You Guess That Blurred Image? (Game)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-h0PIiGW5qY&ab_channel=GoodMythicalMORE)

But yeah, this game feels like it's just oozing with love so I honestly think it's also perfect the way it is now :)

Every 10 seconds life by aDeCon 2022-10-07T22:17:21Z

Love the pixel art! The mini-game with the grandma felt like it went on for a bit too long, maybe that was the joke but I wasn't sure. Overall, interesting idea and a well-polished jam game!

Witchy Sketchy Alchemy by Bruyère Alice 2022-10-03T23:50:34Z

Needs no saying, but amazing art! The game is very well-polished as well

Citri Plays Noirwood by AploveStudio 2022-10-08T10:14:59Z

I remember seeing a post about this idea at the beginning of the jam, I'm glad to see the final version turned out so well. Game itself looks amazing! I would have expected controlling the vtuber more than just controlling the game but it was still quite fun, great entry!

Words Matter by Alex5041 2022-10-07T22:44:32Z

The concept is very cool! As everyone else says it's a bit confusing at first even with the instructions in the game page. I am pretty bad at doing this as well, my game also had quite a few complaints like that :)

The biggest thing I didn't understand at first is what the boxes in the bottom did and what the boxes on the top were. The video did help me understand everything in the end tho so good job on making one! Maybe put it more on the top so that people can see it before they try the game to get the hang of how things work.

Potat-OS by JMad 2022-10-12T12:48:07Z

What a great game with a great theme, all of the mini-games were either funny or had sth fun and engaging to do! The overall aesthetic and vibe are excellent, the integration of scores and UI within the OS itself, very well done! One thing I think can be improved is feedback on whether the mini-game you just played closed on successful completion. I got used to it after a bit and payed attention but at first with all the open windows on-screen it was hard to tell the difference when I successfully finished a gama and it closed or when a new pop-up showed up.

But that's only a very minor gripe, Potat-OS is definitely one of my top games from the jam :)

Thwack by Jon Topielski 2022-10-14T01:25:18Z

Was watching one of your videos on youtube, checked out your games on itch and to my surprise you had a submission for the current ludum dare, which I of course had to play immediately. Love the aesthetic, difinitely wanna try doing sth in a similar style one day. The game itself is very fun, I wanted to play multiple rounds. Not really sure if the different opponents were different in any way besides their appearance. I initially thought they'd have different AI but if they do I couldn't really tell from playing against them. Everything about the game in general is great, the only thing lacking I think is a nice connection with the theme. The speed up just didn't feel significant enough. Maybe if the ball changed in some way during the different speeds, not sure really :/

But yeah, love your videos! Hope you make a new one day :)

Déka! by spyranteros 2022-10-07T15:14:53Z

It was satisfying to synchronize the clocks but to be honest I don't know how they worked exactly besides the 10 second bit. Maybe it would have been good to add some more info to incentivize the player to do it the right way when they have all the information instead of just randomly cicking since that's the way I got to the end. Adding a click limit would also help to actually make the player have to think about it. Overall lovely idea for the theme, just wish it actually made me think about how to synchronize the clocks. Or maybe the goal was to just make it frustrating to synchronize the clocks and there was no puzzle... in which case well done 👏

Home R.I.P.airs by JoyKangpae 2022-10-08T09:28:39Z

Great idea! Enjoyed it enough to play it until I beat it, which I managed to do on my 3rd attempt. My hand did hurt only after 3 attempts so yeah, I'd agree with the other comments that holding the button or having a wait time would have been better. Or maybe a mini game with timed presses, it would still require some skill but also it wouldn't be as hard on your hands. Well done, this is a fantastic game jam entry :)

Sweet Seconds by Jag 2022-10-07T19:47:19Z

Lovely game, as I said during the stream I saw it in. Honestly, it's hard to think of any improvements, everything just flows so well and it's just fun. Great job, one of my top if not my top game from the jam!

Blades of Doom by Benjamin Halko 2022-10-10T18:41:02Z

Great arcade game! It is quite hectic but I still found it really fun and the juice is amazing!

Cat.exe by Alpha Wolf Studios 2022-10-04T01:08:07Z

Loved the menu! The platforming was fun as well but got stuck on edges quite often and as someone already mentioned, it did feel floaty, but the aesthetic is excellent

Bygone Melodies by Save Sloth Studios 2022-10-11T10:34:49Z

Lovely! The art, animation, characters, music, everything comes together to create a unique experience. Loved how instead of showing prompts for which button you have to press like most rhythm games you made it so well interwoven with the actual character animation and it works great! I'd love to see any full on game releases the studio makes in the future :)

Room Again by SofiGnedova 2022-10-07T19:59:15Z

Insanely good! I believe all that has needed to be said already has been. Looking forward to seeing you develop this further or any other games you make!

Fast Food In10sifies by Grau 2022-10-07T18:21:55Z

Saw Harry play the game on twitch and then saw a post that it had less than 20 ratings which sould not be allowed for such fun game! Played the game myself and man did Harry make reaching 120 look easy, it's much harder than it looks 😅

Great idea, implementation, art, and music! Well done!

Clocksmith Exorcist by karlestonchew 2022-10-07T23:36:24Z

Great art, the game felt very polished overall. What might've been missing is sound effects for when you hit an enemy and when you get hit. The spinning mechanic was pretty hard to do consistently bit it was a nice idea and possibly worth exploring further.

10 Doujins per Second by steinuil 2022-10-05T15:33:23Z

Hilarious idea executed really well, loved the varied customers that had different ways of telling you what they actually wanted. Not sure if a bug or I didn't understand something but on my second try the giant plush was gone so when the dude that wanted it showed up I didn't know what else to give him

Speed Dating for Misfits by itsBoats 2022-10-10T18:00:29Z

Love the game! My team also went with the speed dating idea but for criminals :) Was really fun to see how your game handled a similar subject and you even added elements that I wanted to add but didn't have time for as well, like the achievements screen. The artwork and humor were fantastic, my favourite was the worm of course!

Tender Bar! by infecsean 2022-10-07T14:33:22Z

The starting speed feels way too slow. I don't if I was unlucky but besides the first customer the others maily kept coming to the other end of the room and by the time I could reach them and see what they wanted they already starting standing up and leaving. The game has nice vibes, and interesting gameplay ideas, and the work put into it must have been a lot but I really feel like the movement speed hampered my enjoyment overall.

Smash Hit! by Tuile 2022-10-12T12:09:17Z

A lovely game, all the art looks just so nice! The mechanic as well is quite fun. Something I think would've improved the experience by a lot is if the hammer felt weighter, maybe with some shaking or freeze frames. Maybe you already wanted to do something like that but didn't have time which is understandable cause a lot of the polish I wanted to add to my game also got sidetracked. Overall, great entry!

Sleepcheckers by Ehon 2022-10-13T00:51:35Z

Loved it! One of my favourite entries in this jam! Having to type out your actions instead of just clicking makes it that much more tense when you now you have to manage not beeing seen by the sleepcheckers as well. Being able to straight away type out any of the on-screen prompts instead of having to click on them was a great addition as well. The whole concept of the sleepcheckers is fascinating, what was their inspiration?

One thing I found somewhat irritating is that when clicking around to find things I often accidentaly clicked the bed and went to sleep for a few seconds. Being able to go to bed at all times is a key element so it has to stay but maybe instead of having you click the whole bed the click box is much smaller and made more evident. Or to sleep you would require a key press and a click or maybe just typing out sleep. There are many soluions and I'm sure you can come up with even a better one than these :)

Dodgex by chingle 2022-10-05T11:33:15Z

I managed 53 seconds, it was fun. A good addition might have been to have different patterns for the movement of the shield or to have obstacles that could kill you more easily than only trapping you. The first 5 seconds of every 10 second loop felt a bit uneventful but maybe once the speed ramps up even more it fixes that

Push It by Pete Thorne 2022-10-07T14:57:08Z

Great concept and fun game! The surprises were... well... surprising! As others have mentioned I couldn't really understand what the voice was saying because the music was the same volume so maybe either have volume controls for the different sound channels or add subtitles.

Baby Loader by c4ris 2022-10-07T22:02:43Z

Love the mechanic of the game, quite clever! I did accidentally get stuck in one of the boxes once but it happens. Overall, great job!

CATS AND COFFEE by Graylure 2022-10-04T00:12:57Z

Loved it! The cat cafe theme is great, the art is great, the gameplay's fun. I do think some tweaking could be done on difficulty. At first I was getting overwhelmed really fast but then I really the placement of everything and was never close to a cat escaping. And despite that it was still quite fun :)

Heroes Scramble by tive 2022-10-04T01:16:48Z

Really nice concept, I like the idea. I think you should mention somewhere how you move the characters, took me a while to realise you're supposed to drag them

Fungi Forager by Madeline 2022-10-03T23:27:49Z

Not bad, I wish the character wouldn't stop to a halt from those fast speeds but I got used to it.

🌙 Night Shift by Puree Adventure 2022-10-09T14:11:38Z

Love the overall vibe of the game, the art and character designs are really well done and the music is the cherry on top! Interesting design choice to have to stop to look at the client's location. Can't ride your frog unicycle and look at your paper phone at the same time even in a video game :frog:

Birdwatching by Iguanana 2022-10-08T09:59:31Z

Birb game best game! Great entry! One thing I'd suggest and maybe someone else already has, is that if spaces are also checked then it there should also be feedback for the spaces, like a green underline or a green rectangle filling the space

DodgeBall DeathJam by Ashgramor 2022-10-12T12:21:19Z

Simple and fun! Some of the balls looked like the glitched out of the circle, not sure if that is intended or not. It seems like the balls also have differing speeds which is a great addition but I think it would improve the player experience if there was some kinf of tell just by glancing at the ball for a few ms how fast it is. Like different coloring, maybe the faster it is the redder it is or a trail behind that is longer if the ball moves fast.

10-sec pause mania by Stingby12 2022-10-12T18:38:03Z

What great puzzle game! Definitely impressed with the level design, well done :)

Poppy Birds by Sh4dUp 2022-10-12T17:47:35Z

You know at first I thought this would be similar to angry birds but it doesn't feel like it at all! Not showing the trajectory line and having to hit a moving target does make it more interesting. Although I felt the rock speed was pretty slow and didn't feel like it had much of an impact. It feels like the time between shots is too long and when you run out of rocks in the end you still have to wait for the timer to reach 10 before you get a game over screen. With some slight improvements I think the overall quality of the game can be improved by a lot because the mechanic itself is quite fun. Well done, overall :)

Think Fast by primateprime 2022-10-04T00:02:37Z

Nice game, not familiar with QCardwars but the game reminded me a bit of Inscryption, which also has four lane card combat like this. For a first game this is great! Sure there are missing features but the ones in there are very polished, it was fun just watching the cards fight and scrolling over my hand with the mouse haha

Really fun high score game. Nice concept to have to manage how much points you have, my only complaint is that it can get to random at times. The point value can chage from somthing below 10 to 100 which results in a huge leap of difficulty that feels random.

Great game! It's hard for a jam game to make me want to play it again and again even when I lose almost immediately but this one did it! Only advice I'd give as others have mentioned is maybe to be just a slighly bit more forgiving with the landing conditions. The controls are hard but they feel mostly right, I'm sure tweaks can be made to improve them even further but they're also good as they are now. Well done :)

Everytime the arrow minigame popped up I loved seeing them bounce around, it looked so nice. Fun game overall

Fish Rage by Kregap 2022-10-12T13:11:34Z

Some sounds would've improved the game by quite a bit but honestly maybe it's maybe there was no chomping sound that would almost constantly coming from 5+ different fish haha

The game is quite hard, which helps it be engaging from the beginning but maybe a slower ramp up would be better. Not sure if I'm just bad at it but not attacking at all feels like the way to go.

Overall, not bad for a jam game, the fishies look cool too :)

Ten Seconds In The Dark by LogovoStudio 2022-10-04T00:58:59Z

Got quite spooked every time a monster came out right next to me when I only had one item left to find. One thing I think would improve the game a lot would be some more feedback on when you get hurt

Love the duck, very cute! The level design was pretty good as well, albeit it leant more towards difficult since often if you made one mistake you were done, but that just upped the pressure and fun level.

Piggy's adventure by Gheorghe Topa 2022-10-11T12:41:26Z

Controlling the pig doesn't feel great and while the art asetts on their own look good the different styles make it hard to distingush what's what. For example, the rocks look more like they are part of the background but are actually the foreground, only some of the food is pixel art and things like that. Some more time should be given in the beginning for the player to figure out what the controls are, if you don't do anything for the first second or two of the game you die immediately, which doesn't feel great when the player doesn't yet fully know the rules of the game. It seems like the 10 second aspect doesn't serve much purpose since it never really posed any threat compared to the other obstacles in the game.

Still, well done on submitting and there were definitely intersting aspects like the death screen. The ideas themselves were intersting although not executed perfectly but I'm sure with enough time you can make this into an even better game :)

Mochi Gang by MioMilo 2022-10-07T14:49:24Z

Love the character designs and how the characters are 2d in a 3d world. I'm not sure the mechanic of switching between them every 10 seconds works very well, or maybe the level design didn't fit it. Quite often, especially after you rescure the third chracter, I had to wait for the full 10 seconds without really doing anything because I first had to pull a lever with another character. Maybe if the level design made it so no matter where you were even if you had to wait for something you had something to do then it would have been better.

But this can easily happen during a game jam because of the lack of time to properly flesh out the interesting mechanics and it's hard to switch to something else once you have already started. So overall I think this game is still quite impressive :)

FifteenRooms by DurkaGames 2022-10-07T23:22:10Z

The style of the game is excellent, the vibe as whole was done quite well. My only complaint is that the moving rooms didn't really add much in my opinion besides it just being a cool concept. But other than it was a nice game, well done :)

Love the idea! Too bad you didn't have time to add sounds but overall it was a fun score game.
