Interesting game. Having darkness appear every 10 seconds is a really interesting concept. Too bad there isn't much you can do when darkness actually hits. Also, why is the 10 second effect simply removed in later levels?

Got quite spooked every time a monster came out right next to me when I only had one item left to find. One thing I think would improve the game a lot would be some more feedback on when you get hurt
Very interesting concept with darkness every 10 seconds. I do agree with another commentator that there should be more player agency during darkness and overall more things for player todo aside from just moving. Perhaps also make it not a complete death sentence to stand still, some more interesting decision rather then just moving in a direction would make the game alot better. However the mood was done very well, the sound effects were hella creepy and the music complemented it very well, while it was a bit repetitive. Great idea!
Nice game! Gets a bit repetitive over time, though. Definitely good work on creating the mood, gave me some shivers. I couldn't finish the 3rd level with iron rods, the last rod just seemed not to be on the map, and the timer in the bottom-left corner just said "you're dead", not sure if that's a bug or an intended thing.
Great game loved the sounds. Would be even better if losing health gave some more feedback and maybe push the player a little bit to help escape it's grasp. But overall great concept!

Really great job establishing the mood. Perfect for October! I liked how the hand prints weren't visible when the lights were on, a nice touch. A cleaner transition to darkness would have been the icing on the cake. Simple concept, but well-executed! Great work.
I actually jumped a little bit the first time a saw an enemy. I liked that in the dark you could see the bloody hand print and they would disappear in the light. The boss laughs were really good!
Could only handle until level 2, too spooky for me, even with the cartoonish sprites. :(

Just as I was wondering if this game had a monster that could hurt me, I got got. A really good idea for a 10 second game and I did get to the second round before tragically dying.
The contrast between the cuteness of the day, and the creepiness of the night is awesome!
I was spooked at first, thinking there was something in the dark I would have to avoid but seeing nothing. Then, just when I was starting to relax, thinking the only thing scary in the dark was my own imagination, the monster appeared and I got hit and sent running. Its simple but fun, I would love to see it with some better graphics. Overall its fun and pretty spooky, perfect for october :)

Nice game idea. Really like the main character, he looks really cute when compared to the whole game's atmosphere. By the way, the game feels a little bit repetitive pretty quickly after a few levels. Other than that, you've done a pretty great entry!
A surprisingly match of cutesy graphics with a horror theme! I somehow managed to make it by on first try, through finding the last few items in levels was a bit rough. Nice work!
