@tygrak sorry, we had a last minute name change and I renamed the exe. uploaded to itch for good measure, should work now hopefully?
Yep it works now :). Well... at least mostly?
Oh the art is so so so so pretty! And the music is very nice too. The atmosphere overall is just amazing.
I think there might be some bug with the menu board -- when I grabbed a cup and took some stuff and afterwards interacted with the menu board the bubble above my head disappeared and didn't come back. Afterwards I tried restarting and doing the steps for the basic latte and I might just be stupid but I tried for quite a while to figure out how to make the basic latte -- I took the first cup, used the first option at the coffee machine, took the milk, and afterwards used the second option on the coffee machine and it did nothing. I tried a few variations of this but didn't manage to produce a basic latte in any way. I did manage to make a boba latte first try though which was cool! (it also didn't really match the steps from the menu in my mind, which makes me think I might be missing something very obvious)
I have to say that just while trying the things so far, the atmosphere really goes places, amazing. But I'll wait with finishing the game and rating most categories until later, when I'll know if I am just stupid and don't understand how to make a basic latte :).
Very chill game  But it seems like the iced latte recipe is bugged

The aesthetic is amazing!
But as other commenters have mentioned, I can't seem to produce the basic latte. Also, if I press escape or enter the menu board, the latte-in-progress popup dialog disappears and I can't get it to reappear. I'd love to revisit this entry in the future!
Played through the first day just guessing and checking until I figured out all the recipes, then I only realized there was a menu on day 2 :face_palm:. Absolutely gorgeous graphics though.
Amazing art!
Good atmosphere and easy to play.
Well done!
Sorry, we had a bug with the menu and a bug as you say with the menu and latte board not working simultaneously, fixed both these bugs now, just wasn't able to get to it until late this week because I've been horribly sick with gastroenteritis :( . I pushed a fix now and the game should hopefully work
it's chill, nice and comforting game, like it, good job))
The art is incredible. The coffee making needs a bit of trial and error to remember, but nothing tedious. No hand-holding, all flows smoothly. The night brings a nice unexpected yet gradual twist, very pleasant. The walking one step per key at a time was not very intuitive for me at first, but made a lot of sense when in the kitchen. A great entry, thank you for making this despite the sickness, and I wish you a good recovery!!
What a great game! The art, music and vibes are 10/10. I fumbled through trial-and-erroring the first few recipes until I realised there was a menu... But I don't think that's a bad thing!
The art in this is amazing!! Loved the music especially at night! Really liked all the weird characters and requests at night xD I had a really hard time doing most of the recipes in time -but I still had a lot of fun! Fantastic work! :D
the art in this game is incredible! and i love all the sounds and the music!! what a nice ambience through the entire day. really well put together.
This is absolutely lovely! This game is the most gorgeous I've seen so far. The whole atmosphere is so cute, chill and pleasant! This is totally a cafe I would want to hang out in! There were really funny moments too where I was both so confused and laughing so badly, like how I stole money from the employee only room and dumped it down the sink, or when random ghosts came to stayover at night! There were many details I loved too, like cat in the corner, how your character's facial expression changes when you make bad drinks.
The gameplay is really solid too! It's not particularly complex, but at least it's simple yet enough to keep me engaged keeping up with the orders. The drinks do take some trial and error to learn, but thankfully there's no pressure and the game's mood encourages you to keep trying and learn to remember the recipes and get faster at making them. I liked that it really just let me on my own, and let me explore and a pleasant enviroment, instead of doing some hand-holding. Small complaint is that the frothing symbol isn't that clear it looked like another milk jar to me. Also the game doesn't really allow changing the order of steps for some things, I mean I've never worked at a coffee/bubble tea shop before but I think I can add boba then ice instead of the other way round and it should be fine(? right(??) or unless I'm like alex and also don't know how to make boba). But yea I'm picking small issues in otherwise really well designed game mechanics.
This is great! Thanks for the game :)
Also @alexrosegames gws!
A very atmospheric game, but there are a few problems with the complexity curve and the menu of dishes, it seems to me. A lot of dishes just refer to each other, which created a situation where my first drink needs to fulfill almost 7 points, which certainly overloads the player very much. I'm sure you just didn't have time to do it, but I'll say it anyway: you just have to give the player simpler drinks first, and only then complex ones that are built on the basis of others. But in general - UI/UX very cool and game immediately intuitive.
Oh. Your game is so cozy. I feel the Asian atmosphere. The main character is so sad... I want to hug her. You are great fellows! Graphics and music are on top! I didn't really understand where to get the magazines from :(
love it ^^ one of my favourites so far. The game is so full of charisma and everything is complimentary. I just did the Cozy Autumn Jam where a lot of games like this showed up, this would have been a podium entry there for sure ^^
Loved the art: absolute amazing !
Very intense bubble tea experience! All the different characters and the atmosphere this game provided: just awesome!
Great job!
Omg, it's actually exactly our game, but with better music, better art, and more polished gameplay haha, well played :')
graphics and audio great and overall gameplay Great.
Nice game you got there. The art style is very cute of course, and the music completes the chill mood that you'd expect from a the "cat cafe". At first it's quite stressful, but after a while you get the hang of all the recipes and can make everything really fast, which is fun. The spooky night time mode with the strange customers is a nice addition. I would've liked a certain goal to reach, so that I could repeatedly play until I reach that goal. Anyways, good job!
Very cute and very polished but it's super hard right at the beginning of the game. Maybe some kind of learning curve with customer asking only for the two "easy" recipes at the beginning would help? Love this chill variation on overcooked.
The graphic art and music is really great, for a jam game it's impressive. Good job!
Mmm loved the vibes of this game :milk: :tea: and the customers were all very charming, I liked the ones that showed up night especially. I feel like the game was pretty hard to get into initially because I didn't know where each action had to be taken, but eventually got into the groove of things! I have one question that might be a mild spoiler for people who haven't seen this customer yet: where do I find the "birds rock" poster???
https://youtu.be/04UQz6th9Ko?t=12572
Thanks for submitting your game to stream!
Although it was super overwhelming at first, it felt SUPER good to get into the groove of mixing drinks. :coffee: I also love the way you add some personality to the customers by adding *other* things to serve like toilet paper and money
The day/night cycle is also super neat, since it not only changes the music, but also the types of customers who come through the door. Just all-in-all oozing character, this one!
The pace is pretty daunting at the beginning, but I found that doing a few practice runs to get the drinks down cut down on my stress! I love the cozy atmosphere, the distinct clientele, and all the little details that made the game all the more immersive.
Love it. Super chill while at the same time getting really challenging at times.
Really cute and well-made, though the difficulty curve is a bit steep, and I couldn't find out where can I get the magazine for ducks. I liked how the light goes through doors and windows and how the atmosphere changes through the day cycle.
this so sweet aaa.png this guy was my favorite
Everything is great! Very atmospheric, beautiful and exciting! There was a slight lack of sound feedback in case of a shortage of an item in the inventory. Good job!!!
Really nice game and cute graphics ^^ the sounds are great too and create a really nice atmosphere. I had the feeling that the bodybuilder cats were really impatient :D Great work
What a lovely game! The art and audio are amazing. I've got trouble to reproduce the receipes, I think it's a bit hard for beginners, and the cute clients are moving out too fast! But it's quite satisfying when you do some orders without looking at the menu. Great entry!
Impressive entry ! Would have loved a few more hint as to what was what in the UI. (I struggled a bit to find the egg pudding the first time). But once I got everything it was very pleasing !
I played the game on macOS and the client works flawlessly. I love the mood and atmosphere in the game, the funny characters who enter the cafe at a steady pace. However I got pretty stressed out quickly, because I was unable to fulfil any orders, perhaps a pictogram of which ingredients go in where and when would make things easier. I love the audio and visuals, and the time of day together with the ligning was very well done, super atmospheric. I would love to try this again :)
Such a lovely entry, the music and art are wonderful. As people above said it's really challenging, very difficult to get into it at the start, and the orders come and go way too fast. Even though after a few minutes of memorizing the menu you get really good at preparing the orders. Overall feels extremely polished and really great to play, amazing job!
Looks wonderful and feels really polished! I love this kind of games but in this one you need to be waaay to fast. I'd need to take a course in coffee making to be able to do it as quickly as required. I was able to complete only the first recipe twice in time and nothing else. Such a pity cause everything is so cute. I really hate this theme, people have made otherwise good games that were really harmed by trying to impose a ten seconds limit.
The game is pretty comfy, pretty relaxing until I started messing up with all recipes XDD. The art style and music are really good as well. Good job!
What a cute game π
The art is sooo lovely, the music and sound design work really well.
In the beginning, everything felt hardcore haha. A lot of information to take in, and long recipes to read. I messed up everything! Once you know all the recipes, it starts to feel good! Being able to do everything smoothly with only the keyboard and no mouse is nice. Also, the movement system is really really great, it's very intuitive and is perfect for this kind of game.
I'll go take a look at the post jam version now, thanks for the game β¨
I saw this on Itch and I couldn't help but try it out. It's super adorable! And I was sooooooo nervous going into this game because I have issues with time stress AND memory, but I rather quickly picked up on creating the drinks (especially thanks to the handy menu) and it felt great to do that! A greatness I wouldn't have felt if it was just "click here to make this drink and here to make that one."
[LIGHT SPOILERS IN THIS PARAGRAPH] Plus, yeah, the whole "give the cat with a knife the money" or "the hysterical butt-forward monsters toilet paper" were especially hysterical.
Very well done, this was fantastic π I really hope y'all continue to expand on this one, and if you do...PLEASE let me know! I followed on Itch so hopefully I'll see any updates there
Great game! The graphics and audio are amazing. I like how the different drinks have different orders of ingredients, and how some of the late night customers asked for things not on the menu like black coffee, I feel like it made it more fun and immersive. I also like the idea of having the cat in the corner that serves no purpose but to entertain. The game felt challenging at first, but after several days it got to where it felt almost too easy. That's not necessarily a bad thing as the cycle of getting the drinks was fun on its own without the challenge, though after ten nights I ended up just deciding to go rogue and intentionally lose to see what would happen. All in all though, I thought this was a very good game. Well done!
βThis is such a cute and well executed idea for the theme and as per usual I love the art and the gameplay itself is also smooth and not too overly complicated but still interesting enough to keep you on your toes :) The boba love is real hehehe
Very cute atmosphere overall, and I love the the artwork! I had a hard time making egg pudding latte in time.
Collab of the century! The presentation is pretty much flawless. The art is great and the anims add a lot of life to the static assets. The simple lighting with the day/night cycle turned out really sick, especially with the music. The customers are hilarious and surprisingly interesting since each one tends to order the same thing, so it's important to learn their orders. One of those customers was real rude too... and I'm not talking about butt-man!
The controls are kinda strange. I wish you could just teleport between each station like a menu, and it almost worked like that, but not quite. It was reliable enough to get into a good rhythm, but sometimes you had to tap multiple times to get to where you wanted to go. But I did appreciate being able to walk around the whole cafe. Didn't seem like much use though. Would've been cool to have to clear tables or close the shop down to avoid certain late night customers.
The best part for sure is the basic latte combo - really addictive to execute and you really get faster at it as you play. Great move to make it the base of most drinks. I do wish there was a way to batch some of the orders, to add a bit more depth. Maybe interacting with a cup 3x would stack 3 cups, then you could pull 3 shots, etc. When each order is independent it limits the skill ceiling a lot. I was able to serve everyone easily by day 2.
A really cute take at the time management genre!
An incredible entry that feels like a complete game, and in just 72h! Everything is very clean and has lots of content, be it recipes or clients.
The theme connection felt a bit stretched out, but I had a really good time playing it <3
Good job!
Cute game. I like it
