This music is BANGING!
Only thing I'd change is the movement physics, they're pretty sluggish and floaty!
Overall great game and great use of the theme :)

This music is BANGING!
Only thing I'd change is the movement physics, they're pretty sluggish and floaty!
Overall great game and great use of the theme :)
Main issue I had was a lack of feedback when hitting enemies. It felt like my weapons were wet noodles!
Otherwise, a great entry with absolutely 10/10 art. Good job!
Love the game - 10/10 animations and voice acting, also greatly appreciate the in-game tutorial.
With some more complex operations this'd get really addictive. Great job!
Feels really polished, very impressive! I would have liked some modifiers that change things up even more, and I had some glitches post-dying where I'd retain state of slipping/falling. Overall great work.
Amazing entry, had a lot of fun playing it.
I particularly love the 2-bit style, the palette swapping, soundtrack, and level design. Really impressive!
Control scheme was a bit overwhelming but swapping between the three guys was a blast ;). Good job!
Great game and a good use of the theme! The moment you kill your first enemy is mind blowing.
I like the concept of always having to sacrifice something! Reminds me of the hard choices in FTL.
- I was confused at first about what I was meant to be doing - some tutorial messages would have been handy. - I would have liked more clarity regarding what each choice meant so I could make an informed decision. - The font was hard to read. - The music was great!
Amazing entry, I had a lot of fun playing! Luckily I had no problems pressing all 5 keys.
The filter on the visuals and the BGM are both really nice and fit the mood.
Round 2: Two hands!!
Very impressive entry with a huge amount of polish. The art of screen shake is strong within you!
- BGM is funky and appropriate. - Different enemy types are interesting. - Having to spam click to shoot can get tiring, I would have preferred being able to hold-to-shoot. - Maybe explore allowing the player to keep their current weapon and not have to make a sacrifice. As long as eventually their starting weapon isn't good enough!
My favourite game so far. Kudos.
Awesome work! The mood was particularly on point, along with Moloch's model.
Only criticism is I would have liked some instant feedback after each choice on the impact it made to the world rather than moving on straight away.
Lovely game! The soundtrack was great and your use of the theme is superb.
Cool game that nails the theme! Some comments:
- There is often downtime. I was wishing I could actively build followers rather than just waiting. - It's hard to find where your followers are, especially if they're behind something. - I like the lava swamping the level as the game goes on. This could be accelerated greatly with mechanics introduced to combat it. - Music and SFX! Anything is better than nothing.
Really clever use of the theme. As @mike-mihe said, designing levels that are still beatable would have been painful!
The graphics are also really nice. Good work!
Beautiful entry. I would have liked less downtime between each round, and also struggled with diagonal inputs. Great job!
Love the music. Keeping track of citizens + resources/upgrades keeps things interesting. Great work!
Incredible job for a jam game - having this many well designed levels in time is commendable and it fits the theme perfectly!
Very nice use of the theme, sharing life as your one resource for attacking is neat!
I think it could do with some feedback when an enemy is hit by an attack. Especially with the melee weapon I didn't know if I was doing any damage.
And as @slashee-the-cow said, having to run an installer is a big put-off. I nearly didn't play your game at all!
Great concept to build up a sea of corpses that help beating the level! I would love to see levels that require some deaths from the start and then grade you based on # of deaths.
The movement could do with some tweaking, it is a bit slow and clunky in its current iteration.
Good job!
Thanks for the great feedback everyone, we appreciate it!
@nickzangus Sounds like a bug, sorry you couldn't finish the game :( EDIT: We can reproduce it, but only on the itch.io web player. Luckily, it only happens once you finish the last level!
One of the best concepts I've seen from this jam, super unique. Great work!
Love the concept, great to just go with the flow without struggling to complete an objective. Great work!
Fully agreed with @Firebelley - the ground controls had me worried but the grappling completely changes the game. Feels fantastic once you get going!
Fantastic idea. I love the simple concept that nails the theme. Great work!
Fantastic game. Great work executing a simple concept so well!
Hi @vegmuffin, the souls will only move to their colour-coded portal once a complete path has been made to it using elevators.
As @superpokeunicorn and @bw-devel suggested, it might be more intuitive to have souls start pathing towards their portal even if a full path hasn't been connected.
Thanks for the feedback!
Amazing humour and nostalgia. 5/5 easily my favourite entry <3
Excellent use of the theme. I had a lot of fun playing, and the amount of effort that clearly went into this is astronomical! I had a bit of brain meltdown with the controls but I got the hang of things.
This game is OOZING with style. I love it. The hectic gameplay suits well and you've obviously poured a lot of effort into it.
I didn't know what I was doing for a couple of attempts, but I got the hang of it eventually and I don't think that's a bad thing.
Fun, hard game. Cool art style!
I had some trouble with the controls, UI labels would have helped - or maybe a short path indicator? I spent a fair chunk of time on the first level experimenting until I had it down but I enjoyed doing it ^^.
Really cool take on the theme, simple but rewarding gameplay to keep everything in balance. Nice work!
So cute and so relaxing! The musical notes from different objects were a great touch. I was hoping for some gameplay challenge but it was a wholesome experience as is.
Rank A! Absolutely inspired game, where do I sign up for the sequel?
What incredible execution. I could explore this space for hours and will definitely check back in in a couple of weeks. Thank you!
Such a cool game but too hard for me! I went into the options looking for a no-fail mode...
I'll check back in later because I really want to see how this wraps up :)
Really cool! Great idea, story, art, music, you name it. I just wish there was more so you could have expanded on the gameplay!
Felt great to pick up and play. The shading is really nice and I am a big fan of the Earth being pushed back by the rockets!
What a great game! The art, music and vibes are 10/10. I fumbled through trial-and-erroring the first few recipes until I realised there was a menu... But I don't think that's a bad thing!
Wow, so much level design must have gone into this. Amazing game for a weekend jam - I had a blast!
Great fun and loved the mood. Good work!
So much fun! 125 years! Love the score-chasing aspect of a very chill game. Great work.
I love the top-down "3D" and naturally the legs. I found it hard to direct the ball... But I think I'm just bad. Great game!
Beautiful game, amazing that you turned this around in 3 hours. I like jumping to intercept stars and wish there was more reward for it!
So much fun! Got excited when it "broke" for the first time and I got a second computer. I'd love to see this concept expanded on more.
Amazing concept with the dice and love your style! With some gameplay polish this concept could go far :)
Amazing mood, vibes, visuals. Nice!!
Great entry! Especially like the music :) I was a bit confused about what the power-ups did initially.
The game feel, the music!! This is so good and so unique. Amazing submission. I would play the heck out of an expanded version of this.

Incredible concept and execution. Collecting each piece and plugging in the final answer was a joy.
Amazing art and game feel. Could have used some more upgrades as I went to keep me engaged on the way to the HQ. Awesome foundation though!
Building different units from ingredients is so unique, nice work, love it!
Love the mood and the art style - insanely high quality!
As others have mentioned some small QoL fixes would be great additions: - Clicking vs. pushing hotkey discrepancies - Bottoms of cards being cut off - Highlight what actions are enabled/allowed at any given time
