Glide'r Die by adamk33n3r 2022-04-05T05:19:33Z

Cool flying mechanic! I really get the sense of flight in this game, especially when the angle of attack on the glider is too high and you stall out. One thing to improve this would be some kind of clear goal for the player to try and achieve. The first thing that comes to mind would be like a distance tracker, and encourage players to get the furthest distance they can. Then you have a clear goal and challenge for players. :)

Neat little game, has a lot of potential!

Virus Bash by joewan 2022-04-07T07:17:05Z

Upgrade system was very cool, giving the player the feeling of progression. The spawning of the enemy could use a little work? I felt like they all spawned at once on a random timer? You can make it a little more dynamic and fluid - slowly increasing in speed and number as the levels increase.

I really feel this game could really benefit from some enemy that also fire projectiles for the player to dodge, this would introduce a secondary challenge. Some other cool ideas might be boss battles every 10 levels or so (just a large bullet hell type dodge and shoot), perhaps bosses drop extra health and upgrades as well?

Overall super solid, this could evolve into an awesome game.

Lavapocalypse by Florian van Strien 2022-04-06T09:15:02Z

Impressive amount of work achieved during the jam! Super solid foundation - this could evolve into a very fun game.

Don't Melt by maxr00 2022-04-04T07:33:20Z

Awesome game, the wall jump mechanic feels super satisfying, the movement overall feels really nice! The whole sequence feels like a boss battle in a cool platformer, it has a lot of potential! The bass line on that track had me nodding my head, super funky! Fun little experience.

Side note, I'm not sure Mr snowman would have a campfire in his little igloo LOL!

I'll buy us some time by Lex 2022-04-07T01:17:56Z

Super cool mechanic, simple but effective graphics, funny sound effects. I can see the difficulty increasing but the wheel spinning faster. This is a solid submission, would love to see this expanded on further! Well done

Tanky the Eternal Tank by NorthernDevGuy 2022-04-06T09:34:25Z

Awesome voxel graphics, and shaders are nice too. Core game loop is solid, some extra levels could add some more depth to the game. I also feel like the main attack (mouse click) should have a very short cooldown as well, so the player can't just spam the attack button and not actually attack. Also found a little exploit where I could kite the skeleton boss into the gap between the middle and side platforms. Fun game, has a lot of potential! Great work :)

Chtonic Arhipelago by GreenRadiation 2022-04-05T10:17:12Z

I love the art style, very cool, and the music ties the mood together beautifully. Procedural worlds are cool, as is the day night cycle. Took me a little while to figure out I had to click on the secondary ingredient to craft, maybe needs some instruction around that. The 1 item carry mechanic is cool, I found myself organising little piles of wood and flint so I could keep fires going during the night. A lot of potential here! Nice work team

Faces of the Beast by stamestratagem 2022-04-04T23:01:10Z

Cool concept, I can definitely see this evolving into a fully fledged game. One thing I would suggest would be some kind of positive / negative feedback when the player chooses the face, just to give a bit more impact for the decision. You could even add some kind of visual or audio cue to indicate you're disastrously close to running out of time. Overall fun game!

(Is that a live leaderboard? If so that's awesome :P)

Horde! by Fear Games 2022-04-05T10:41:36Z

I enjoyed playing this! I felt like a true zombie gangster with my huge posse of zombie thugs, scouring the city streets for fresh brains to eat! The art style is simple but effective, the zombie sound effects were a little repetitive, and quite loud - but you did supply a sound mixer at the beginning of the game so that was great foresight.

One thing that could be improved was the final boss, he posed very little challenge, and it was quite anti climatic. Would be cool to see some kind of boss fight mechanic introduced to provide some more challenge.

The camera angle also felt a little off putting when the player was near the bottom and edge of the map as well? This could be by design, but if not, I'd suggest just sticking to a constant angle and panning the camera to follow the character.

Nice work though! Great game!

KRANT by pepnou 2022-04-05T11:01:20Z

Ooh I love the graphic style, you really managed to capture the feeling of a nuclear power plant. The cameras help give the player that eerie feeling of being watched, which enforces that anxiety when trying to defuse the situation.

My biggest problem with the game being the font used in the instruction manual, it's really difficult to read! I would strongly suggest using a more readable font in the manual, especially since it's part of the core function of the game.

This has huge potential!

Stay Safe by oxxar 2022-04-05T10:28:13Z

Nice pixel art graphics, and I like the concept of keeping the fire lit to keep the character healthy. This is a great foundation! I would say your next step would be to introduce some challenge to the player and a way to overcome that challenge. Maybe there's weapons or treasure in the darkness which prompts the player to explore away from the fire. Or the player could be rewarded somehow by feeding more wood into the fire. Great start, I can see this developing into a fun game! :)

Extremely Exteme Sports by kuviman 2022-04-07T06:03:33Z

Multiplayer.. in a game jam. Amazing!

The controls felt very appropriate for skiing, the perfect amount of 'slide'. I sat here for a while versing a few players on your stream. It's great fun, reminds me of SkiFree from years ago. I also feel like some of the hit-boxes are a little to large, which is slightly frustrating sometimes, but you learn to avoid obstacles with a wider birth.

Amazing work! One of my favourite entries

Tree loves Sun by AppoxGames 2022-04-04T23:37:10Z

Cool concept! The core game mechanic, growing a tree using the sun and the moon, also very cool. I can see this evolving into a very nice cozy/casual game. The only thing I would improve is the movement, they feel a little slow when I'm trying desperately to heal my tree or collect flowers. Otherwise great little game :)

Die higher. by Spitzy 2022-04-05T10:50:55Z

Cool mechanic! Looks like the platforms are procedurally generated too, well done. You've done well to create a specific mood with the art style and music as well.

I feel like the game is missing challenge however, I think you could improve this game a lot by introducing some more obstacles to avoid - or spawn less platforms as you climb higher and higher. You want to keep the player "in the zone" by introducing challenge not too easy, but not frustratingly difficult either, a hard balance to find. You can find it by prototyping and getting your friends / family / us to play and give you feedback :)

Great concept!

InevitaBallistics by JHax 2022-04-07T01:59:05Z

Cool game, I liked how the missiles followed the player, and the movement felt balanced. It was a little confusing remembering which power-ups did what, I kept having to look up at the "inventory" to know what I had to use, and on-top of that I didn't really know what they were so I was just spamming the button as soon as I acquired any pickup. The power-ups felt good once they were used though! Perhaps some more visual indication of which keys had which power-ups, plus some kind of, easier to interpret power-up graphics.

Music was awesome too - I felt the pang of anxiety when the pitch changed and a new missile entered the arena. Great job.

Hex'd by Paroxysmal 2022-04-05T00:05:51Z

Cute graphics, and smooth controls! I feel like the difficulty or speed of the timer may be a little high out of the gates, I kept dying before having time to explore and discover mechanics. Overall nice little platformer and cool concept.

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T10:07:42Z

very cool! I loved the modelling of the garbage collector and the mother ship. Music was groovy and the main mechanic felt smooth (picking up and disposing trash), especially the throwing mechanic, felt satisfying to throw trash were it needed to go from a distance. The only thing I can mention is the difficulty ramped up VERY quickly. I had only just learnt the controls before I had a huge pile to sort through lol. Otherwise great work!

Extreme Plant Sitter by suvi 2022-04-05T05:03:08Z

Really fun little game, took me a while to figure out I had to hold RIGHT mouse to water the plants, spent at least 5 minutes just smacking the plants all over the room lots of fun. This is a great entry, well done :)

Dino live! by ElectricStalin 2022-04-05T01:42:50Z

Cute graphics, cool intro! There seems to be an issue with the games resolution in the webGL build. In Unity go to Project Settings > Resolution and Presentation > and set the correct resolution. Rebuild and re-upload to fix the weird resolution issue.

Some quick improvements could be to add a more descriptive hunger icon, instead of the white circle, using the plant sprite here would indicate that you need to collect more of them to increase this number.

The jumping feels kind of floaty, awesome if you're trying to give us the impression of being on a different planet, out of place if this is supposed to be earth's gravity?

On my play through I never saw any meteorites? Not sure if they're bugged?

The dig mechanic is really cool, I can see myself digging for cover when the meteorites begin to fall.

Overall really solid foundation! This has a lot of potential! :)

Department Of Demise by Crychair 2022-04-07T00:44:31Z

Easily my favourite jam game so far! Unique concept, amazing music, the comedy is on point, artwork suits the theme perfectly. The only thing I can suggest is the game over state - I feel like it's a little jarring, would be awesome to see some kind of animation or transition form working to being "fired". Amazing work!

Bathroom in the Backrooms by mrbrainfed 2022-04-07T01:47:39Z

Took me a little while to realise I had to use the mouse to look

Cool little 3D game! I'm sure you'll be able to reuse this 3d code for some future projects :)

Glad I peed in a toilet LOL

Space Onslaught by SharpLoaded 2022-04-04T06:34:15Z

Fun little game! My best score was 234! I was a bit confused at first until I read the instructions, perhaps you should show the instructions first thing before the game begins? The difficulty seems to really ramp up fast as well, nothing a little bit of play testing couldn't fix. Well done!

Cup Half Full by BangTheWall 2022-04-04T07:16:50Z

Please make a mac build! This looks like a lot of fun! :)

The Fire Will Die by PolymathLD 2022-04-05T11:08:54Z

This was a very artistic experience which I enjoyed a lot. Awesome attention to detail with the bear breathing animation, the footsteps, etc, it really painted the picture and set the mood. The rock throwing felt satisfying as the rocks whacked into the wolves. Just a really pleasant interpretation of the theme, great work!

Time Bandit by Jason Pitchford 2022-04-04T23:59:21Z

Awesome art style! Really loved the theme. This is just missing some player feedback, which would really enhance this! Stuff like effects / sounds when you pickup a time clock, or run into the enemy. Maybe a small visual popup with how much time you gain / loose on each occasion. It was difficult to discover that the bat guys take away time when you run into them. Overall well done.

Journey in Spacetime: A Text Adventure by shortCreative 2022-04-05T11:16:32Z

Sweet little text based adventure, great writing! Would be amazing to see some animated graphics to this. Nice work, a great application to the theme!

Can't Tax Me by SasquatchBStudios 2022-04-07T01:40:45Z

Cool game, I really like that you encounter multiple waves and are rewarded for how well you did the wave before with upgrades. The bomb ability is super OP I loved it, was a little frustrated with the final ability, the whirly wind bomb of death? The random placement sometimes put you super far away from the vault door, so you had to scramble your way back to defend. Other than that, super solid entry!

Here was my best "score".

Cooperate with your shadow! by mnikn 2022-04-04T06:12:09Z

Very interesting concept! I enjoyed the puzzle difficulty progression too! Art style is simple yet effective. My only criticism would be the music is a little repetitive, also that high melody is quite ear piercing after a while, a quick music toggle would solve this though :) Awesome game!

48 Hours Later by x000000 2022-04-04T22:52:48Z

Sweet little tower defence game! The only thing I could suggest added would be health bars to the zombies to make the towers feel more impactful. Nice work!

Earth's Last Stand by Junklab 2022-04-07T00:47:56Z

Thank you to everyone who has played / rated / and left feedback so far! I am so stoked that you enjoyed the game and I'm encouraged by your feedback! :D I'll do my best to play everyone's games and return the favour.

Crime Time by bodCodes 2022-04-06T09:19:28Z

Cool little game, I love the concept of being able to see into the future! My best score was 185, small time crook. Would have loved a restart game button once caught. The music compliments the sneaky criminal theme too, great job :)

Kinderkaos by Gravityflip 2022-04-06T00:47:24Z

What a laugh, this is such a funny concept. Half the fun is watching the kids die in hilarious ways. You could easy implement a level system that increases the chance of kids trying to kill themselves. Good job!

GrayBox by Ty1rl 2022-04-04T07:11:54Z

Cool mood! Feels almost like a dream / psychological horror. I'm not sure how to upgrade? Perhaps some more instructions are needed before the game starts? SFX fits the experience nicely! Will play again once I figure out how to upgrade? :P

Fire Punch by Stefan Funke 2022-04-05T11:21:55Z

Awesome! Pixel art is super clean and looks great, the controls feel very nicely tweaked, tight and responsive. The camera look is nice feature too. It is very difficult though! Perhaps you could introduce some way for the player to regain health?

All of these elements have a lot of potential to make a great little platformer game, I'd be interested to see if you continue development :)

Fine Throw by TheRulerMeasure 2022-04-04T07:21:37Z

Cool mechanic! Hooking and throwing the ball in fun and satisfying. One suggestion would be to add a restart button, I had to refresh the browser each time I wanted to play again :) Cool little game though my best score was 10 :D

Orange Mécanique by Pommthur 2022-04-05T11:11:29Z

Charming art style! I really want to play this game! (Mac user)

Trex – Delay the inevitable by AlbertOZ 2022-04-06T02:42:05Z

Cool T-rex model, the rim lighting on him looks really good too! I'm glad he got to brush his teeth in the end. Fun little interactive story.
