I loved the intro! But i missed the comets unfortunately :/
Totally endless, there is no meteors or difficulty
Cute graphics, cool intro! There seems to be an issue with the games resolution in the webGL build. In Unity go to Project Settings > Resolution and Presentation > and set the correct resolution. Rebuild and re-upload to fix the weird resolution issue.
Some quick improvements could be to add a more descriptive hunger icon, instead of the white circle, using the plant sprite here would indicate that you need to collect more of them to increase this number.
The jumping feels kind of floaty, awesome if you're trying to give us the impression of being on a different planet, out of place if this is supposed to be earth's gravity?
On my play through I never saw any meteorites? Not sure if they're bugged?
The dig mechanic is really cool, I can see myself digging for cover when the meteorites begin to fall.
Overall really solid foundation! This has a lot of potential! :)
Love the graphic and the mechanism of digging. but I can't really see the ending of the game. Maybe add a little bit variation of obstacles.
My dino walked to the ends of the earth (on the right) and fell off 🤣🤣. It did not manage to experience any meteor strike though.
Really liked the art and audio but intro wouldn't work for me and couldn't really figure out what the meaning with the game was.
no meteor appeared, but the experience was nice :3
Cute game! I didnt see any meteors in my playthrough but i loved the look and maybe i just outran them all!
No comets for me either, but the dino is super cute, the music is nice and it's totally in theme! Hope you'll add the meteorites and a bit of narrative someday :)
Graphics are pretty, no enemies, feels empty. Jumping feels inconsistent.
I fell into a pit pretty early on, snacked hard on everything around me, then awaited my slow and inevitable death. Life is tough for a dino. I really love the art direction for this! Very smooth and such a cute dino I wasn't even sad I was starving~! And the soundtrack was absolutely excellent for the vibe. Great work! â—Š
I got the feeling this was unfinished. The art is really good, but I could only endlessly eat without consequence. I often got stuck on corners of tiles, and as others have pointed out, there are no meteors or danger of any kind.
I heard the meteors, the other reviews are accurate, nothing to add except i feel sorry for the devs not having the time or the manpower to finish the game, clearly they had good ideas, but the scope was too big.
You have to seek teh metors out instead of avoid them. Good potential tho!
Cute game Dino is pretty well looking and this plants are gorgeous too Sound is quite sad, but it suits for game setting Good!
Bug with meteors fixed
The intro cut scene didn't play for me, and I pretty quickly got stuck because a meteor up ahead created a crater I couldn't jump over. Still, bonus point for destructible environment, as that's pretty neat. The art and the music for this are nice, but I also wish my character didn't stick to all the geometry. You can fix this by adding a material with no friction to your player.
Wow! What a fantastic experience! Graphics and music are on top ! The mechanics of the company is also wonderful
A very nice game with a nice controller, but as if something is missing in the gameplay. Either a greater threat from meteorites, or the risk of starvation, or some goal directly indicated to the player somewhere far ahead.
Core mechanics itself works and is very entertaining.
In the game, I did not immediately guess that it was possible to dig. x) But I'm already inattentive that I didn't look at the description of the game.
It's also quite strange that (judging by the web version) the digging starts with a delay. You have to hold down the "E", for a while the dinosaur has no animation, only then it digs and the result of the action is visible. Sometimes it seemed to me that the game didn't count the click, but then I discovered that the dinosaur didn't dig right away.
Very nice minimalistic art with an unusual color scheme. The sound design is also healthy.
Just a heads up about some technical issues with the web version (I’m not on Windows): the embedded size was larger than my laptop screen, and the game area blocked scrolling, so I had to struggle to scroll over to the fullscreen button to shrink it down. Also in Safari, after clicking Start, the game opened up to a screen of tiny black and white flashing squares. I tried Firefox and I guess it worked, but where I assume there was supposed to be a tutorial or intro, it just showed some scrolling clouds and a Skip button.
I liked the art style, but didn’t really understand what was happening in the game. I could eat plants, but I didn’t see any indicator of my hunger level. I could dig left or right (lol, tiny dino arms), but the digging controls seemed unreliable and I couldn’t figure out if I was supposed to press or hold E, or if I was supposed to be able to dig up or down. After digging for a little bit (why was I digging? I dunno), it randomly told me my dino died and I’m not sure why. This seems like it has potential, but you need to put some work into providing more feedback (or “juice”) for the player’s controls and actions in the game, and better convey what the player is supposed to be doing (e.g. hunger level, a reason to dig, some kind of visible threat).
