The cows are so funny! I collected 355 dudes. Your game feels a lot more polished than I would expect.
The concept is so fun, lmao
Had me "one more round"ing until I could break 500, and it took around ten tries to do that. Very effective use of minimalist graphics (the way the ground color changes!).

Took me a while to figure out what the orange boxes do. Do the cows have a special effect, or are they mechanically identical to the people?

My best score was 575. Really fun and I liked the boxes to refill your beam energy so if you pathed well you could really suck up a lot of people.

Pretty satisfying to chain a lot of those boxes. I feel like the humans and cows should react a bit more to being abducted! They seem more concerned about other issues I guess. And it took me a bit to figure out what the boxes were doing -- maybe if they were electrical poles or something it would be more obvious that they extend the duration of the abduction beam? But overall great work!

The art style, the screen transitions, the music and sound effects all make this game very enjoyable to play.
Two things I have not figured out are 1) what the yellow boxes are for and 2) if it is a good thing to collect cows or if it somehow hurts you. Collecting yellow boxes and cows both make some special sound but they seem not to have any effect as far as I can tell :-)

Very entertaining game. Perfectly captures the jam theme. The music is awesome. Love that it's immediately clear what to do and how to play. Great job
@gonutz cows are worth more points and the boxes extend the beam time. I think the yellow/orange boxes are a debuff. The purple boxes refill the beam energy but I have noticed collecting the yellow boxes immediately takes a chunk off the beam energy bar.
@gonutz @bbrown Thanks for playing! Cows give you more score. Purple boxes replenish your beam's energy and orange boxes extend its maximum duration.
The shortening of the bar is due to calculation of the bar drawing. Since the bar is fixed width when you change the maximum value it than seems to decrease like that. Potential fix would be when increasing the max value of beam to add some percentage with it. (TODO for post jam :) )
