Neat little game. The issue with trying to use the aim camera mode is that it clips through containers and walls so turning around trying to shoot and move away from the enemies, VERY OFTEN left the camera clipping through a container and left me not able to see anything.
Wow, thank you everyone for all of the positive feedback. It's really inspiring to see such constructive responses to something I was a little nervous about submitting in it's current state. You guys are awesome, thanks so much! While some have suggested continuing development on it, the game itself was something we simply wanted to work on for the Dare. We may re-visit the game at a later date but for now it's on the shelf as we've moved on to participating in 1GAM, and already have a new idea we're pretty excited about.

That was a really neat little game. I really liked the transitioning into new worlds without it being a whole different scene. Well done, it felt like on old timey, nostalgic arcade game. Great deal of fun.

That was a lot of fun haha this is the first submission I've played where I wanted to retry after I lost haha. Great job, I loved the mini-game aspect that was really neat.

@piscythe ah shoot you're right! haha woops! The green thing was supposed to be an open manhole haha. I never got around to the art :( I'll be polishing the game up, though, and posting a link to it when it's ready for more playtesting

@gonutz cows are worth more points and the boxes extend the beam time. I think the yellow/orange boxes are a debuff. The purple boxes refill the beam energy but I have noticed collecting the yellow boxes immediately takes a chunk off the beam energy bar.
