Great game as always. My only real criticism is that it took me a while to figure out I needed to double click the powerups (I think the game explains this but I was closing things so frantically it left my brain lol)

malte-hedenstrom 2022-04-05 08:34

Very fun and tense game! I wish finding space on my harddrive was this fun, good that there is nothing to download

badpiggy 2022-04-05 10:08

Phenomenal entry. Loved everything about it, especially that folder structure on the side. I do kinda wish it showed all of the branches of a given node instead of just the branch you click on, because sometimes I forgot which folders still had unexplored branches. Still though, awesome mechanics in use here. Took me a minute to realise that the mouse cursor was what was taking damage. I'm still not entirely sure how to avoid damage from some files, but maybe a little practice is all that's needed there. This was amazing all around. I'm definitely playing this one more

itooh 2022-04-05 10:22

Now that's a setting I can relate to! Reminds me the time I had to clean docker…

The visuals and sounds are very satisfying. And I'm impressed how the game blends cleverly UX and exploration and fight mechanics. It creates a fantastic experience! The file bars might be the main thing difficult to read well, especially in the fire of the action, but it doesn't affect the enjoyment much. It's an awesome game!

gatlink 2022-04-05 10:32

You game is incredible! I had tons of fun playing it, good job! My only problem with it is that my hand kinda cramped after a while x)

master-age 2022-04-05 11:52

This is a weird one for me, it's really fun but I wasn't really sure what I was working towards or what half the items did. Still, great visuals and the audio reminded of an old lego game called junkbot.

arzi 2022-04-05 13:28

Quite an original idea and well executed! It was sometimes hard to figure out if you have missed something in the previous folders.

paperaeroplane555 2022-04-05 13:37

damnn i love this entry!! i never thought i would ever see such a manic roguelike dungeon crawler controlled entirely with the mouse. i love how all of the elements like fighting, moving through rooms, showing the map and are part of the super clean and creative ui. its super addicting just clicking on everything (like playing osu lol)

sheesh.JPG 10/10 would play again later

roughskin 2022-04-05 16:55

Really nice game! Loved the idea and the whole lore!

mario-costa 2022-04-05 18:05

This was incredible, as always with everything from this person. I'll surely play it again later!

pke1029 2022-04-05 19:38

Love the concept and brilliantly executed. The game does a great job explaining the rules and introducing the items and enemies one by one. The UI feels smooth and polish and the sound design is great. This is definitely one of my favorite entries so far.

bumble 2022-04-05 20:24

I like how this entry is weirdly calming while the gameplay is so frantic. Might be because it reminds me of mindlessly clicking around on the desktop when you got nothing else to do - with a twist!

Overall one of the most entertaining ways to get carpal tunnel :D

fog-ryu 2022-04-05 21:59

This was a very good surprise! I really like the Pixel Art, the atmosphere is cool, the theme well brought and the gameplay simple but very effective!

Great job!

I only manage to get to 425 points, but I really enjoyed it!

The UI is so response and clean I f****** love it. Even just opening folders is fun. Great game.

trypants 2022-04-06 03:54

Love the idea! Had fun playing! Solid entry

archangel 2022-04-06 03:59

Very fun game, it's so polished that you wouldn't even realize it was made in only 72 hours. Great work!

daniel-username 2022-04-06 04:00

Great concept, art, audio, and execution. Love the retro vibes!

marc-antoine-girard 2022-04-06 04:12

Amazing entry! How can such a simple concept as opening folder can be turned into something as brilliant as this is beyond me. Everything about this game is so polished. The UI is just crazy clean, the audio fits perfectly with the game, the gameplay is super intuitive (considering I've been opening folder for a long time now) and with all of that, you still had the time to put upgrades. Highest rated game for me so far!

azambie 2022-04-06 05:29

This is a very enjoyable game! Simple to learn and can get increasingly difficult. The artstyle is simple and nice. Overall, a very fun game

seabirddigital 2022-04-06 14:23

I enjoyed the game a lot. It is very well polished and the tutorial was smooth and clear. Great job

torte478 2022-04-06 16:17

Oh, God! It is my life

ryder-studios 2022-04-06 17:38

I enjoyed the game so much! I've personally never seen something like that before. This is a game I'd really buy on steam if you exapnd on it a bit (like with boss fights etc. ). Will play it a few more times for sure :D

fenderbate 2022-04-06 17:55

Awesome game, but in web version, audio stopped all of a sudden :(

2022-04-06 22:37

Utterly amazing, I am in awe!

rawb 2022-04-06 23:05

Amazing game really love the idea and the gameplay was super fun

everythingisbacon 2022-04-07 00:31

I'm so impressed with the quality of this entry! It feels like something that had a fully realized preproduction cycle, not something put together entirely over the weekend! Seriously, the level of polish is kind of mind boggling!

unmagical 2022-04-07 02:04

Terrific game. Amazing how thrilling a file system can be. Good Job!

dustyroom 2022-04-07 07:33

A very satisfactory and creative game. Is it deliberate not to be able to jump to parent folders right from the folder tree?

thegamerasd 2022-04-07 11:23

Great game! The audio is well made and the gameplay is very fun.

earlybard 2022-04-07 11:29

Great game - love the flavour of popups impeding your progress. I kept forgetting what the power-ups did and then would accidentally use the teleport one which I rarely needed!

justcamh 2022-04-07 13:38

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Lots of fun, you guys have done great! I had a few thoughts though, I was so focused on the gameplay area, that the timer and memory usage both faded into the background, then it was a surprise when I lost. I didn't really experience any tension, like sure I was rushing to go quickly, but I wasn't in any more rush when close to death. It would've been awesome if there was something like the classic 'red around edge of screen' you'd see in an fps, maybe there could've been glitches as the memory gets more full, or maybe something could really flash to get your attention, or maybe there could be popups warning you, that then also need to be closed, adding to the tension?

Another thing, with how big and fast the bullets were, I eventually gave up trying to dodge many of the attacks. This is probably a bad strategy really, but especially with the faster stuns seemed decently effective. More coordinated players probably had dodging sorted, but I wish the bullets were slower and generally less chaotic, as it is currently, I was failing to dodge even the most simple setups and just brute forcing with fast stun times.

Anywho, those are all nitpicks, I really love what you've made! Like others have said, it's an amazing game made by two amazing people!

sapazu 2022-04-07 14:34

Fun and unique game. Really liked your artstyle and color choices!

allax 2022-04-07 16:31

Amazing game with amazing style. Probably the most polished game of all to be on this LD. Great job!

tricky-fat-cat 2022-04-07 17:17

An extremely clever idea, it's a minimalistic game, but addictive. Notably, you managed to make a decent tutorial and overall gameplay progression. Well done!

notexplosive 2022-04-07 19:43

C:\This\Game\Rules

Seriously fantastic submission. My favorite game of the jam so far.

lootgrounds 2022-04-07 19:45

I played this game and I loved: - Killing popups - Instantly getting what to do - Destroying my mouse and my wrist - Vibing to the music - Uncontrollable nostalgia

I could as well be good without: - Perks having no description whatsever

beats 2022-04-08 04:45

A simple concept elaborated upon and executed really well. Nice.

quackqack 2022-04-08 11:42

Great game, very polished. The gameplay evolves well over time with the introduction of new file types and powerups.

I reflexively hit escape a couple of times to close a popup window which too me back to the menu and I lost my progress, but otherwise this game is awesome!

redsti 2022-04-08 19:09

absolutely great game! love it! only downside is it took me a little bit to figure out that some enemies i have to click multiple times, and the items could do with some extra explanation, but its still great!

ossi 2022-04-11 20:21

What an incredible game! The graphics, sound, gameplay and unique twist of roguelike genre is so well done! It's so dang polished it would have been hard for me to tell it was a game jam game had I not known it ahead of time. Fantastic work across the board! I loved it!

falzock 2022-04-12 13:24

Great game, I like the art style. The game fits quite nice to the theme but perfectly fitted ‘Running out of space.’ The game is very polished and is impressive!

jefvel 2022-04-13 20:02

I liked this! It's a very good and unique take on the theme, and gets super hectic in the end. It feels very polished too, plus the name is funny :)

A little feedback: It would be nice to be able to click on things by holding down the mouse button, or have a delay on how quickly you can click. It gets quite straining when playing for a while and if you used an auto clicking program you'd be super OP. The trailing cursors could home in on things a little bit too, even if that's not really Windows canon.

It's a very cool game, great job!

elendow 2022-04-15 23:06

The last thing I expected to see in this jam is a clicker roguelite. It's fantastic. Loved it.

yeti-kid 2022-04-16 19:29

Really good game! Great idea and well excuted! The power ups give a lot more and keeps the gameplay feeling fresh! A variety of enemies and all comes together so well! Really great job!

strega 2022-04-18 02:34

Awesome rogue-like with a twist! I got to drive I, is it fully procedural or is there actually an end? Art was really clean and polished. Music and sounds fit really well. The gameplay simple and responsive. The upgrades helped spice up the run and the feedback systems really make you keep wanting to play. Nice intro and tutorialization as well. Amazing entry!

cakestorm 2022-04-18 15:24

Brilliant idea, and it was very well executed, well done! The core gameplay was very solid, it was fun to just click things and the upgrades supported that style of gameplay well - I especially liked the ones which had multiple levels e.g. the trail upgrades, since they gave the game some nice progression from the beginning to the end. Another thing I loved were all the enemy types; there was some great variety in both how many of them there were as well as their mechanics e.g. spawning popups, spawning bullets that go outside of the window etc - it made seeing new enemies much more interesting. It was very readable as well, particularly since the game got pretty fast paced and hectic at times, so great work on getting the graphics to not only look great but communicate things to the player as well! The sound design was also very nice to hear, with everything fitting into the aesthetic of the game well, and those different music tracks for different colours were a great addition too, they really show the effort that went into the game. Great work on this game, it was a joy to play, fantastic work!

getem-ratan 2022-08-11 16:56

super duper awesome idea loved it
