The itch link was not working for me
This is definitely my kind of humor, I would have upgraded one of your quote : Rick and Mortis, I would have gone with Rigor and Mortis. The game is full of thoughtful ideas and meta stuff. I really love it.
Sadly, The game crashed of Friday when I tried to talk to the first gargoyle :( And I had my Thursday score copied to the Friday one during the night, so there is a bug here somewhere
Pretty funny game! art style is simplistic in a great way!
Only suggestion I would have is to change the controls up, it's a bit awkward to use arrow keys AND wasd
I enjoyed all the interactivity and changing dialogue - I had a really good laugh in places! Gameplay-wise, the concept of matching the colours with the attacks is a cool idea, there was perhaps a bit too much back and fourth though, and the game crashed when I was talking to a gargoyle on Friday so I didn't get a chance to complete it. I was hoping I'd find out what was behind the other two doors!
Great game!

Nice little game, it's simplistic but the concept of using each attack at a specific time is a good one.
Nice game with great humour! Loved it!
I really liked the dialogues and being able to interact with a lot of things.
great game

- Took a bit longer then expected to get into the "gameplay" - Unsure if i didn't understand the mechanics but i just sat in front of a door and hit with my (different colored) scythe (unsure if that's all you had to do) - All the items you could interact with and NPCs, perfect - Great graphics (GMS2 is a great engine for things like this) - Maybe add some of the game objectives in-game - Some sound feedback when moving (since you do that alot in the start at least or music) would help live up the pace a bit - Encountered no bugs or crashes
Also a highlight for me was definitely the setting and humor, great stuff!
Nice job! I liked the attack animation a lot, and the souls.
The core part of the game is a bit simple (just react with the right color), maybe there could be some extra mechanic added.
I love the atmosphere though, with more work I could see this being a fun RPG.
@tomtomgome Thanks for letting me know, I've updated the page so it should be up on Itch now. I've also addressed some of the bugs that people have come across, so thank you for the feedback!
@alex-de-la-cour Thank you for giving the game a try and for the feedback! I've now fixed some of the errors that people have come across.

Loved the attack animation and atmosphere of the game. As a slightly colorblind person I panicked a bit when I saw two similar blues, but thankfully they both count as blue. phew! Great work!
I enjoyed the punny humor and interacting with the different characters throughout the week. I also liked how the dialogue system worked as it wouldn't lock your movement and just disappear as you got further away in addition to changing the sound depending on who's doing the speaking.
I like the dialog systems. But the main play mode (Harvest) seems a little bit boring!A good game!

Cool game! Like others already said, the humor is great, the main "shift" part a little dull, but the best part was talking with all the characters and checking if anything appeared in a vase :D .Pixel art is nice, I loved the moving night sky :)
I liked the idea behind this game a lot -the art was great and the humor -can tell a lot of creativity and hard work went into this -awesome job on this! :D

You succesfully represented the trudge of a commute.
Cute game, simple, but well made.
The art is great, especially the night background outside with the moon - nice dithering there. The sound effects are nice and well places, nothing seemed out of place.
The game has such a huge number of cultural references to memes/movies/books/anime/games - it's crazy. :exclamation:
The gameplay wasn't too challenging or hard, especially since scores are calculated, but we never get to see any consequences, quotas or comparisons. Kept playing mainly because I wanted to see all leftover interactions with other reapers. To be fair, after Tuesday I started wanting I didn't need to walk such long distances.
I always try to give constructive feedback on how to improve game: 1. Mako scores worth something: job contract extension? new book for the shelf? new Rick & Morty posters? Buy apples to check if they are actually tasty? Give some soul-like currency, so you can try all and more of the above? 2. introduce several levels of complexity for the current reaping minigame. For example, make third attack `green`, and then `yellow` souls you have to harvest with `green` and `blue` attacks within some small timeframe. 3. Introduce a bigger variety of work minigames, so different days would be more beneficial using one minigame, and other days - other minigames. Also make souls accumulate for the minigame, you eventually have to switch between them, and not always do one minigame. 4. Some kind of inventory, so you can do favors and errands for other shinigami. For example, bring more milk, or get a disguise kit and try to help others that can't keep up with increasing portal times?
Out of curiosity would want to play a continuation, but I think it might be hard to put all the references into the game and still have coherent story that makes sense :joy: Great job
