This is a much harder game then I was first expecting! The constraint of no wasting parts makes it a lot harder to keep up with the orders as I was frantically trying to pull everything out of the bodies; the first time that I lost I was very confused what I had done wrong. For some reason the embedded player doesn't have full-screen enabled, so it was also made more difficult by the small size of the parts.
I think that this was a great take on the theme and managed to perfectly hit what seemed to be its tone - dark but very humorous. The art and music complemented each other very well and added to that theme. Overall very well done!
Really cool idea related to "harvesting"! took me a while to place the organs at the right spot but still always died before the counters on the boxes turned to zero.
Liked it. Cool interpretation of the theme, the boss is ruthless. Sometimes people call for wrenches and stuff, idk, I guess you have to serve those too!
I feel like this game could do with a ramp up of skill - as the mafia becomes more successful though your efforts more bodies would show up - also perhaps starting with harvesting easier organs, and unlock the ability to unlock more complicated ones for greater cash rewards - there's very certainly something here.
Some work could be done on the interface, perhaps highlighting when an organ is selected or make the selection areas more "sticky" so it's more about grabbing and dropping rather than pixel hunting.
@salmonmoose We know the game would need some UI upgrades, and everything you mentioned was on our TO-Do List, but jam time is limited.
This game was pretty cool. I finally was able to ship an order once I got the hang of it. Awesome game!

The graphics and music remind me of burger time :) I had a little bit of a hard time getting the hang of it, maybe starting off with some easy orders to guide the player would have helped
great game! I like the art and the concept of harvesting organs for large scale delivery , it took a bit to get the hang of the mechanics , this has good replay value and is well made, congratulations! keep it up!
Nice game, love the graphics and concept. I get a bit confused why I joined those who will be "harvested" so fast in the first few tries, maybe some more instructions would be better.

Nice game, but way to hard to control for me.
I love the retro art style

Love the idea! It is a bit hard, would be nice to have it a bit slower in the beginning or have bodies with fewer parts. However I was able to pack few orders after several tries  Thanks for the great entry!
I only ever managed a single order, because some organs are too hard to click, and things being immediately put back in the body meant I misplace one thing by a pixel and it's game over.
Good concept though.
Really difficult, but the idea is great and the art/music fit nicely!
A cool feature would be for the conveyor to start slow and increase its speed by around 15% every time a package is shipped. That would make the onboarding easy for new players!
Anyway, nice game!
Definitely a...unique take on the theme. The game is pretty difficult, it would be nice if it could start out slower, but its fun after a bit of practice
Bit tough at the start, might be throwing you into the deep end a bit too much. I enjoyed the theme and humour though

Nice game, just lacks a bit of tuning to make it really good. Some clearer visual feedback when you successfully drag the organ to the wrong spot perhaps.
this is def my type of game hehe
oof the requirement of wasting zero organs is super hard :see_no_evil:
i like a lot the gameplay idea, it's both think fast and do fast - good connection of skills
the box packaging animation is super nice!!! overall the pixel-art graphics are really well made
it certainly has some reverse "unpacking" vibe with a more grim theme
sweet entry! keep on keeping on :two_hearts:
@cannibalgirl Omg thank you, I'm so happy to see that someone enjoys my art ;-; It was my first time trying a pixel art ever, no prior experience in graphics as well so warms my heart to hear such a nice words, thanks and hope you can keep beating you PB ^^"

Could be really fun! The hit detection on the boxes feels a little off, maybe too precise? And I'm not convince a timer is the best way to go since it doesn't ever really allow you to get into a flow state. Music was funny as hell

The artwork for the game is good and the splat sound is so high quality lol. (though the music didn't seem to fit the mood)
This has the opportunity be quite a good game if the learning curve was lowered a bit, I could not manage to get a single order through in like 5 attempts, nothing matched the orders, maybe a bug idk.
Anyway nice work and good luck in judging!
The art was great and I thought the music was a fun contrast. I think it would be cool to see an end-animation of the player moving through on the conveyor when they die! Overall, great job. I do appreciate the simplicity of the game too!

Interesting game! I like the idea of the conveyor belt of people to steal organs from, it's pretty unique and a clever game mechanic. I had a little trouble figuring out how to do more than one or two orders before getting a game over, so I didn't play much, but I could see what you were going for and think it's a neat idea!

Good idea, but also need more good design to make your game more understanding!
good core loop, having to fit and move around the organs without overlapping them while trying to keep up with the newer organs is challenging but manageable. The collision area for the organs and the boxes could be more clear tho. Good entry overall

good idea it is hard to understand what to do at first though making it a bit frustrating in the beginning. But it looks nice and the music is great as well
Congrats on the game. I thought it was pretty cool, cool graphics, good gameplay, I just had a little trouble understanding it, but that's because I'm terrible at playing. Ah, if you have a little time, join my game and see what you think of it. But the ideal is to download it, because the ludum window is giving an error in the screen proportion! It cost!!!
It's a good idea and I can certainly see the potential, unfortunately I found it a tiny bit too frustrating to continue with it - if the clicking and dragging was tweaked a bit to show if a placement of an organ is valid it would make things a lot easier, as hastily trying to grab an organ that was just suddenly sent back to the body without warning caused many game overs for me to the point where I had to take a break unfortunately.
So this is what my uncle does*
*For legal reasons, this is a joke
I really like this interpretation of harvesting. My main issue is probably the requirement that the organs don't overlap in the ice boxes. The game is hard enough already, especially with the requirement of not wasting any organs, but maybe that's just me lol. Love the overall vibe the game achieves.

Nice take on the theme.
Took me a while to work out what I was doing wrong, but once I got it, it was fun!
I wish I read about rotation and overlapping before starting. Once you get that down it starts to click! What an innovative game over a weekend! Awesome job!
So I would have had a much nicer time with a bit less of a time punishment. I was not getting it for quite a few game overs and that was putting me off of trying. That being said the concept was a really interesting take on the theme and the art style was great. In terms of Jams it is always better to start easy and ramp the difficulty up slowly. Good work
