I kinda love the idea of a janky racing game with impossible controls. Seems like it would be awesome in co-op, but this pushes it a little too far haha. I was laughing the whole time though. I think adding a harvesting element to the race would also help, perhaps giving the player a bonus for doing well

Certainly a fun idea! Looks great, sounds great. I think it could use a few more mechanical elements, perhaps if two or more of the same candy is strung together then they all disappear at once? Aldo perhaps make the level continues so we don't reach the bottom with nothing to do, if we didn't make the quota?

Really nice and relaxing game. Good visuals. I wish the train was a bigger and more dynamic part of it, because it fills like it could be easily subbed with plots of land.

IDEA: The train could take us through different biomes which grow different plants, and perhaps we lay the tracks and choose the route.

@jumpirate I think we plan too! We really want to try and include and entire narrative experience in such a simple play style. Calendar event, random escapes, more moral dilemmas (such as how you can sacrifice a family member if you run out of money atm), maybe a trader would be fun. Gonna be a lot of math lol

Nice fun entry! Look and sound really went with it. I think a key issue (for me) is that you can't see what's coming up, so it just felt like I was randomly moving across the screen and hoping. There's a good reason Doodle Jump goes up and lets you see the playforms coming. BUT that's a super easy fix, just divide the level in the middle of the screen so we can see our options and choose a route on the fly. Great submission!

Great art style. I feel like it needs another element of game play. At the moment it plays like a very slow twin stick shooter, but with stationary enemies. So I just kinda slowly make my way over and stand next to them while it auto swings. There doesn't feel like there's much to do, but I think it's definitely something that could be built upon

The art, animations, and sound are really great. Though I found myself getting frustrated with the control scheme and with enemy distances. Since we only swing when close enough and clicking on the enemy, I find myself edging towards them, then respawning at the house if I get to close. Perhaps if we always swung with LM and collected with RM. I also wish I could place traps during the wave, or that the corpses disappeared over time forcing me to grab them during the wave. Then the end of the day wouldn't feel so much like clean-up,

Nice little puzzle game with great audio. I didn't find myself wanting to finish because the later levels 7/8 can be really punishing. You can spend a lot of time getting to one item left, only to find yourself not dead, but in an unwinnable state with the only choice being to kill yourself and start over. It just misses those satisfying "AHA!" or "oh crap!" moments being really clear to the player. Great submission!

Looks great, so it's really sad that this feels unplayable in some key areas. Respawn menu doesn't work, space bar stops working after one dash (or takes forever to reload), the collision is really hard to detect - just getting across the spikes in the first room feels near impossible and not in a satisfying way. Seems like it could be great though with some more work!

I think simply putting more visually clear reminders of what things require/produce/combat in the level would help. Fun puzzle game with a great style. It feels almost impossible to get close enough for a good score though and I wish there was some sort of mechanic for editing. There comes a time when the only option is to restart, which isn't fun. Maybe if the desired shape was an overly, so mistakes where more visually signposted. I also wish there was a reason to actively control them both a the same time, perhaps you could change up how they are linked within each stage? One stage they mirror each other, one stage they copy each other - a little like the dungeon statues in Link to the Past. At the moment there's no real point in actually moving them both, but it's a great idea if you can get it right!

Okay, so, at first I thought this was a bit of a spam fest. Just click to swing, but after playing it a few times there's actually way more to combat than I thought. I found myself moving to avoid enemy attacks and it started to feel good, though still really difficult.

I think maybe it needs a clear risk and reward systems. It's higher risk to kill the young farmers, so maybe incentives us to do it more? Or you could make the people randomly spawn so sometime we only have them to kill?
