Was not able to play... I left it loading for a while, but got really stuck in the black screen. Perhaps you could also add a downloadable executable option to play the game?

z0rg 2023-01-09 20:01

Hello, There is also a windows executable available. Try a force refresh on your browser, perhaps you loaded the game a bit earlier and we had an issue with our build :/

theaaronator 2023-01-09 21:09

It looks very cool! And flying around is fun, especially when you fly near planets! Although the sensitivity seems very high (for me at least).

tayteus 2023-01-10 08:45

Guys ! This is amazing ! The atmosphere of this game is really captivating, I could travel in there for hours. Really good job !

tomate-salat 2023-01-10 11:58

The game has a really great athmosphere. You start the game and think "wow!". Unfortunately it is not that good playable in the browser because it doesn't catch+hide the cursor. So when I hit screen-boundries my rotation is blocked. So it would have been nice if the game would allow me to rotate via keyboard. I guess the downloadable version would work better in that regard but for jam games I really would recommend to have web-version as highest prio.

But overall a pretty cool idea and even with problematic controls I enjoyed flying around and bumping into planets =)

nougato 2023-01-10 12:04

@TheAaronator ah yes we don't have options ... I keep it in mind for the next Jam ! Thank you 😀

@tayteus ❤

@tomate-salat thanks, yes we have some issue with mouse locking and yes the download version lock correclty the mouse inside the game window 😉

jujus 2023-01-10 13:02

This game is so beautiful with so little, liked it a lot. The only thing is that when you get close to a planet it doesnt feel like there are forces attracting you, which feels kinda off for me

jaywoody 2023-01-10 13:11

What a cool atmosphere you have in this game! The music is really really good! I very much enjoyed flying all around the planets collecting the lights an enjoying the mood of it all.

Very cool game!

greenphox 2023-01-10 13:16

That is a really a very hard game to comment on... In one hand, the graphics are astonishing and the atmosphere of the game is wonderful. The SFX are very well made, and the music fits the game perfectly. In the other hand, the buggy movement, and the cursor hitting the boundaries unfortunately make the game not to meet the expectations that the player has when he sees the graphics.

In other words. WONDERFUL GAME, WOW, the short period of the jam probably was too short for your galaxy sized plans. Well done!

nougato 2023-01-10 13:35

@jujus thank you ! Yes you are right, we don't have time to do it, we just slow the planet orbit to make it playable 😉

@jaywoody thank you ❤️

@greenphox thank you 🙂, yes exatly, you're right we have some issue with mouse and sometimes collision ! Thanks you, for your comment 🙂

emil-akper 2023-01-10 16:17

A very beautiful game, I really liked the light and sound effects. Together with the music, the atmosphere is amazing. I'm not really used to the controls, but this is purely my subjective opinion, the game is great!

minakorii 2023-01-10 18:12

The atmosphere was cool but the camera was hard to control imo I'm having a headache

Still a cool game !

teddyreid 2023-01-10 18:54

Looks gorgeous, especially when you approach one of the planetoids. Little hard to play in the browser though as the game doesn't capture the cursor. Decent entry, well done!

bearacus 2023-01-10 18:55

I can see the potencial in this game. I love how you can actually fly and explore the space bodies in a closer scale, the closer you fly into it. good job.

thunderchief 2023-01-10 18:59

The Ambiance is mesmerizing

routard 2023-01-10 19:23

Had a Outer Wilds feeling trough this, seriously you’ve pin pointed the ambiant, tho the collecting sound is way to loud, but otherwise, this looks great and the feeling is lovely. GGs

schlock 2023-01-10 19:48

A bit trick to play in the browser but still very enjoyable. Great atmosphere. The end screen is a bit anticlimatic tho.

crashbashash 2023-01-10 19:56

This game does a lot with a little. I love the concept of this game and the music was very chill and captivating. Could easily be lost in this world for hours.

nick-saulnier 2023-01-10 23:17

Beautiful minimalist worldbuilding here! I had some issue with mouse controls, but it could have been a browser-specific thing. Otherwise, super immersive. GJ!

breadstick 2023-01-11 03:11

Absolutely gorgeous visually and aurally--almost seems more an art piece than a "game" truth be told. Captivating and overwhelmingly pleasant!

Navigation was a bit tricky with gimbal lock preventing me from rotating in the direction I often found myself wanting to rotate... game could be a lot smoother and more enjoyable with a quaternion rotation system permitting all the flight turns your heart could want. If that's already implemented, then I'm not sure what leads to the steering hitch, but something's repeatedly catching and it has to do with rotating with A and D

merin-car-trunk-key 2023-01-11 08:03

The music, sound effects and visuals are really good. It was hard to play because the mouse kept leaving the play area. Other than that, I enjoyed playing it!

phillip-scott 2023-01-11 11:13

Great visuals and audio - obviously the control issue is painful but the atmosphere you have built here is impressive, the bloom and lens dirt is a nice touch too.

Well done!

louishupp 2023-01-11 14:18

I love the mood of exploring the space with the ship.

Very good job guys !

bluedingo 2023-01-12 03:09

Really beautiful game like all the others mentioned, and flying through space felt amazing, but the actual gameplay of going over a planet to try and collect the lights felt a little lacking. Would have been cool if we just had to like run into a bunch of a different planets to collect their light rather than comb over them.

fullheartgames 2023-01-12 03:52

Really fun concept, the controls were also really good. I wish there a little progression and possibly a challenge but besides that it was very relaxing.

harmofish 2023-01-12 04:00

Very beautiful and cool game, but I'm not sure why I keep failing. Congratulations on finishing this game.

v0odo0 2023-01-12 10:34

Like the visuals. Fullscreen would be nice to have.

z0rg 2023-01-12 10:38

Yes, forgot to add it back to the template, you can go to itch.io there is the fullscreen button there ;)

poboy 2023-01-13 08:26

The shaders are super gorgeous! A really cinematic experience.

forik 2023-01-15 02:40

I love cosmos and this game really immersive.

Very relaxing atmosphere and sound!

Thank you for game =)

khadia 2023-01-15 03:59

Lovely soundtrack and ambience! It took me a couple of tries to figure out what to do but straightforward and all good once I figured it out (had better luck with the green sun than what I thought was blue sun but possibly I was mistaken?) It was a bit hard to see what was going on sometimes (environment very dark and lens flare got in the way a bit), I wonder if having lights on the ship/cube might help? Very impressive visuals anyway, beautiful sky box and ripple effect on sun, and I especially appreciated the fissured planet with the trees growing inside the canyons. Well done!

andy-link 2023-01-15 17:11

The immersion in space is really crazy! I got a little space sickness at one point! The atmosphere is excellent and the goal of the game very poetic. It's funny that your game is the opposite of ours! You're trying to turn the sun back on while we're trying to destroy it haha!
