Hi! Interesting concept :) You've created a pretty large world in 48 hours :D

kierancoppins 2020-04-20 14:41

Couldn't quite figure out how the building worked? Liked the introduction and loved the honesty on things you ran out of time to include! Seems like a good, if you could explain better how building works, I'll give it another try :)

toc 2020-04-20 14:44

I tried to play it, but I could not build any Poles... what am I doing wrong?

tayfun 2020-04-20 14:48

I appreciate the time you have spent making tutorial for your game. Making a 3d game that has huge map is very difficult in 48 hours. Well done...

galactic-chimp 2020-04-20 14:48

It's not bad, just a bit tough to understand how to build and connect power lines.

nnnikki 2020-04-20 16:50

I think this kind of simulation/strategy game works waay better in 3rd person, and if you want to do it 1st person, you have to do a lot of fine-tuning to make sure the player sees and is aware of everything. Also, I placed down a bunch of pylons and then was stuck because I had no more resources.

rich 2020-04-20 17:37

@toc , @galactic-chimp you press B and then left click on the power plant to start placing. You have to look at the ground to get the preview to show up. Thank you for leaving feedback!

rich 2020-04-20 17:39

@nnnikki thanks for the feedback! I agree with you but I haven't figured out animations yet. I guess I could have just left the capsule and made it 3rd person. I also should have made the starting resources higher.

rich 2020-04-20 17:39

@kierancoppins thanks for the feedback! As far as building: you press B and then left click on the power plant to start placing. You have to look at the ground to get the preview to show up.

Cool game. Fits the theme. Good job!

mikejzx 2020-04-21 06:36

Definitely an interesting concept. I have to agree with @nnnikki though, being in 1st person the game is a bit strange to work with.

sheetcode 2020-04-21 06:48

Cool graphic, but it is not very intuitive ;/ after reading comment I figured how to buid a pole. I see a lot of potencial. Killing enemies made me fun, and also comment in the tutorial. Great you had it:) The map looks amazing for 2days time!

mehrdadsh 2020-04-21 07:11

nice visuals

rich 2020-04-21 17:46

@mikejzx thanks for the feedback!

rich 2020-04-21 17:47

@mehrdadsh thank you!

rich 2020-04-21 17:47

@sheetcode I've updated the description. I appreciate your feedback!

chaseplays 2020-04-21 19:16

This was definitely a neat game! The ideas were really cool and I liked hooking up the power lines to the generators to get resources! I found that the beginning of the game forced you to hook up power lines to 3 generators of different types too quickly, but other than that this was a lot of fun. Great work!

thereal-infinite 2020-04-21 21:50

I got very confused. I tried to understand it, but some things left me wondering. Also, the ESC to exit instantly is extrememly annoying for me. I think the concept is nice though

itskdog 2020-04-21 22:31

Wasn't sure about the controls. Seems like a neat idea. Not sure if enemies are needed in this kind of game.

rich 2020-04-22 04:02

@chaseplays, thanks for the feedback! I should have given the player more resources to start. Thanks for playing!

rich 2020-04-22 04:03

@thereal-infinite, no argument here. I forgot to hook up the esc functionality until I was under the deadline. I just wanted to make sure people were able to leave the game. Thanks for the feedback!

rich 2020-04-22 04:04

@itskdog, thanks for the feedback!

kimist42 2020-04-22 12:46

Nice game but really difficult to get the three ressources at the beginning! thanks for the game!

rich 2020-04-22 17:05

@kimist42 thanks for the feedback!

m8rix 2020-04-22 19:31

I think the resources showed wrong numbers sometimes? Or could be me, but it said i didnt have any when i clearly did. Anyways when i finally figured how to place poles it became kinda interesting, especielly with the constant pressure of "zombies" :) gj!

rich 2020-04-22 20:37

@m8rix I know that the resources weren't updating before you pick up any resources. After you picked up resources it should have updated. Thanks for the feedback and playing the game!

adam-konig 2020-04-22 23:13

It feels like you had a really great game idea but ran out of time :(. I will say the tone of your tutorial messages were hilarious and you should keep that humor going into future projects! I still had fun shooting the enemies with the cannon except that there's a reticle in the middle making me think I'll shoot where I'm aiming but the shots just go straight forward and hit the ground after a few feet. But great idea! Would love to see a finished product if you ever find time

rich 2020-04-23 04:37

@adam-konig thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to play and comment. I'm going to continue working on it and see what happens.

zevsehg 2020-04-23 05:23

Good game! Game need weapon upgrades, because it's hard to protect buildings from enemys .

rich 2020-04-23 22:58

@zevsehg thanks for the feedback, I think that's a good idea.

zgragselus 2020-05-11 00:37

Fits the theme, was quite smooth.

Building was a bit confusing, but in the end I understood it.
