A very cool little tetris game, the modification of gameplay that you bring with the movement of the zone brings a little extra, however this is not enough for me to fit into the theme of limited space. In any case it's very clean and very well finished, well done to you

Well done, very clever alteration to the rules, I believe that for this mechanic, the possibility of holding on to a tetramino would be huge for strategic gameplay.

This is a fun game,i feel like if anything you expanded the space lol. The controls took a little getting used to but i think thats just because i've been playing so much tetr.io recently.

And here I thought I was being original when making a tetris variation with bombs! This is super cool! I like the scrolling mechanic, but the bombs felt like they didn't do much. I think boosting their effect could help a lot. Also the sound design needs a rework, the main moving sound is irritating. Loved the music though, and it looks really clean. Hope your game does well! Go team tetris!

Nice game, clever idea and very neat execution, the only thing that bothers me is not being able to hold down a key to move the piece more quickly, but otherwise your game is very good, well done.

To answer your initially posed question: NO, Tetris is not too easy! As terrible as I am at it, this is a fun twist on the usual gameplay. I _do_ think that even as a very novice player, I could offer some advice on tweaking the mechanics. The edges of the board, IMO, need the same amount of time "in window" that the center of the board gets. I'm not sure if this was an intentional design decision or a technical limitation of the implementation of the window... but either way, it frustrated me quite a bit to have nice clean lines in the middle, but not so much on the edge. Overall, a great entry that while being a bit of a frustration to play, is a nice twist on the original format. Well done! :tada: I scored ~1800, and didn't make it past the first level.

This is an interesting idea and funny twist! The explosive tetromino does often time make things worse because I'm not used to it, but is at least funny  I don't know if this mechanic is suitable to compensate for the limited window, because as bloodyaugust already wrote: The actual problem is, that you can place blocks at the edges only very rarely. Maybe it would be better to move the field with some modulo operation, but anyways, the game as it is is already fun

Only small complaint I have about the graphic is that empty 1x1 spots were a bit hard to see for me. I know they have a border around them, but when they are in the greyed out part its a bit hard to see in the heat of the moment. Also chrome somehow completely hang up twice, but the games were pretty much lost anyways, so thats not too much of a problem for me

Its a cool idea, but the problem is that the middle part is a lot more in use than the rest. maybe it should stay x pieces in a position, then move x squares to the side. And it really needs a hold slot. still, its really good.

Interesting take on the theme. Even though the moveing window didn't quiet use the jam theme, but I actually enjoyed it as the mechanic. Overall nice game, feels and plays very much tetrisish)

Cool twist on tetris, which is rare to see nowadays. Would love to see a version with some of the modern tetris mechanics, like t-spins and storing pieces

Fun idea with a tetris game. Very challenging having to plan ahead over a larger area. However I think the currently active area should wrap around the edges or something. As it is right now, one has to compensate for the center area receiving an unproportional amount of tetraminoes. Well implemented game and the music was perfect for the game! Well done!

Very interesting twist on the classic tetris formula. A few things: I find it really hard to stack stuff on the outmost areas and the white explody pieces are a very nice fresh idea to make some space! Maybe the game would work even better on a cylindrical topology! Very nice idea and well done! I noticed a small bug: when a white explody thing leaves a shape in a dark area the piece stays afloat and does not fall to the floor

Cool idea! Makes trying to create a one well on the sides super difficult since you onlyhave one chance to hit the edge before it comes back around again. Nice work! Great execution

I love Tetris, and I loved the concept of your game! I also particularly liked the second music! It was really fun to play and very well made!! Congratulations!!

Well, what is limited space if not tetris! Also, a very nice twist on the classic.

I was left hoping some quality of life features that are common in modern tetris games. Like wall kick and lock delay. But understantably these kinds of features are very hard to implement in a jam-setting.

Overall, a solid entry!

A very interesting twist on the traditional tetris gameplay. One interesting phenomena is that because of the way the visible region slides, the center gets a lot of availability than the edges. In fact, the first and last columns are on the screen for only a small fraction of the time compared to the columns in the middle. This forced me to strategize around making sure the left and right were as well organized and stuffed as possible. This also meant that anytime the left and right were available I had to put all my energy into making sure I filled them optimally.

However, this also made the game feel less fair when I got a difficult piece during my small window of opportunity. perhaps something could be done to give the player more options to compensate for those moments.

I'm a big Tetris fan so I couldn't say no to trying this! Very cute little Tetris-like game. Enjoyable.

Graphics and audio were nice, nothing spectacular, but they did what they had to do for this type of game (huge fan of simplicity and old-school vibes). The extra twist was very interesting however as others have mentioned, it was hard filling lines while only having 1 shot to drop blocks on the sides.

Controls were very responsive, but my finger did get tired of not being able to hold the button so I had to give up eventually :D

Explosive block was a nice addition too! Maybe I missed it, was there any indication whether a block would be explosive?

Thanks for your submission!

Cool twist on a classic game, I liked that the whole playing field wasnt always available for every piece. Good one
