Food Fight by zgragselus 2019-10-10T00:34:32Z

Amazing lighting.

Dungscoot by Mr_Field 2019-10-15T01:18:44Z

Amazing game! I love everything about it. Took me a few floors to figure out what was going on, but then I got to floor 17 by the time I died. Very great concept!

Jesaouf VI by shubart 2019-10-10T00:30:00Z

I'm not sure what I just experienced but I'm glad I did. 5/7

Mae's Turtle Beach by R3L0ad1 2019-10-07T00:51:00Z

Very fun and cute, but manic round is quite manic! Escalates too quickly, would have liked to see 2 turtles, then 3, and so on, instead of 1, 1, 20 haha. 9/10, saved -7 turtles

Ultra Quest by 100th_Coin 2019-10-07T01:57:41Z

Incredible! How was this made by one person in two days?

You Gotta Buy Everything by MiltonNH25 2019-10-15T01:46:29Z

In a game about buying everything, I was surprised the itch.io link was free to download, haha. I would have put the screen shake on things being destroyed, not the gun being fired. Very fun game overall! Like an idle game except active, haha. Great feel to the core loop, definitely feel very powerful at the end, especially if you ignore the Win button and just keep buying more upgrades, just enter level, throw one grenade, and if your computer can handle it you get everything!

This game is okay, I'm not really sure what else to say about it. Probably took a lot of programming to get it to the state it's at. Not a bad game, but I was driven more by a need to complete and compete than moment to moment enjoyment with the music, aesthetic style, and rhythm challenge.

Spooky Isekai by ahistyap 2019-10-15T01:07:27Z

A little clunky to control overall, especially turning in the first world and general platforming. But very good artwork and music! Sounds like everyone else's experience mirrors my own.

Start with Muffin by Sibi 2019-10-10T20:26:41Z

Fantastic game! Absolutely love.

\+ great music

\+ funny sound effects

\+ adorable

\+ hilarious

\+ good twist on the theme

\+ great graphics

\+ cute

\- confused about the extra jumping mechanic (is that a feature or a bug??)

\- second level really ramps up in difficulty in either case (after reading the game description, I know what I'd need to do, but it still ramps up quickly in the sheer number of steps needed to solve the puzzle, plus it hadn't been introduced yet that you can collect multiple layers of icing from the same color, and there's no feedback of what colors you can and can't collect and when and why)

\- easy to go out of bounds with the jumping glitch

Overall very good!

Tart with nothing by flynn 2019-10-10T00:40:52Z

Incredible all around! Good everything :) I enjoyed it, thanks!

Bandit Crossing by Magnega 2019-10-15T01:00:13Z

258 scrap! I'll take it! Fantastic job! A+ experience all around, only thing missing is the theme.

Working Title by NoahRo 2019-10-15T00:47:59Z

\+ Neat concept

\+ Great music

\- Incredibly frustrating: - wall jumps are very tricky - enemy and player spawn locations mean you can spawn into death quickly - very precise platforming

Overall decent game!

UnderShell by KaueSilva 2019-10-15T02:01:30Z

Overall good game. Reminds me of a classic Nick or Cartoon Network game from the early 2000s. Some minor nitpicks: - music gets repetitive - lots of the game is at the fate of RNG for stars and obstacles - more difficult than expected - controls feel floaty, and I get that it's the ocean and it's floaty in the ocean, but the controls didn't feel good / responsive, especially with the collision detection it has - levels were quite long, I would have preferred them to be a third of their length at most

Start With No Game by davidsheadgames 2019-10-07T02:03:18Z

Clever. Short and sweet.

PIPO THE GHOST by woody_builder 2019-10-10T00:55:26Z

Very cool! First level had me stumped for a while, had to look up the controls, but I guess it forced me to learn everything I needed to move forward!

Spirited Back by Tomssuli 2019-10-10T20:00:10Z

Neat concept, not bad. Definitely some polish can make it a decent game!

Genesis 1 (God Simulator Procedually Generated) by Ausstein 2019-10-10T01:20:37Z

10/10 mountains of will smith

I was waiting to be able to explore my world, that was good. The font, though hard to read, really brought it together as a cohesive narrative.

Wizard's Hazard by Axelle Desquilbet 2019-10-10T20:06:38Z

An interesting idea. I was able to get to the second stage of possessing things, wasn't sure if there was anything more to do from there or if that was the end of the game. Definitely a neat concept, and nice music.

Nothing left for Jim! by GreenDinoGames 2019-10-15T01:52:39Z

Clever! Controls are clunky in the right way. Crowd noise got a bit annoying after a while - glad you could toggle it off, but I would have just preferred more variety to the sound. Good gameplay. 5/7

Spooktober Survival by LeBossMax2 2019-10-10T20:18:34Z

5/7, 3 spoopy 5 me.

GOOD: - graphics (particle effects, lighting, models, environment) - music - concept

COULD BE IMPROVED: - collision detection - feedback (didn't realize I could shoot with my body, wasn't sure what to do after I picked it up) - ending? wasn't sure how long the horde went on for, left after clearing enemies on my second run through - first run I got surrounded and couldn't escape, that wasn't fun. Maybe invincibility/intangible frames after hit? - not enough stuff to do?

It may be your story by Keseril 2019-10-06T23:18:46Z

Congratulations on doing the jam! Nice first game!

Flourish by Corrade 2019-10-07T01:42:54Z

Very hard! Good game.

Sow Happy. by changemewtf 2019-10-10T00:46:09Z

Neat! Reminds me of Dark Cloud in that you're building a town up, kinda.

Idle Twit by Josh Aaron Miller 2019-10-07T02:23:51Z

Thanks for the feedback @karlipoppins! Added explanations now. Here they are again for anyone checking the comments:

HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS - Interact with Twits and write your own to gain Peeps and Eggplants - Gaining Peeps makes it easier to gain more Peeps and Eggplants

HOW TO USE SOCIAL MEDIA - Clicking the Graffiti button comments on a Twit - Clicking the Echo button re-Twits that Twit - Clicking the Eggplant button upvotes that Twit Writing in the Scratch Box will post Twits

TIPS FOR EARNING PEEPS - Everyone loves Graffiti (but don’t Graffiti your own Twits, that’s just lame!) - Echoing popular Twits will make you seem cool! - SMASH that Eggplant button and maybe the user who posted that Twit will be your Peep!

Idle Twit by Josh Aaron Miller 2019-10-07T14:04:32Z

@corrade Thanks! Yeah, it was hard to design feedback for this because I was trying to mimic certain experiences of social media (i.e. never sure what's going to go viral). I added another disclaimer at the top that this game *will* make you feel powerless. In reflection, I think I made an absurdist game that refuses to be played as you'd play a more straight-faced game.
