Enoyable game. In the top right corner, where I can select the keyboard layout is the other way around  Huge kudos to the designer, but some robot parts was a bit hard to notice. Maybe a time limitation would add more difficulity to the game.

like the artstyle a lot very cute and the overall polished look, ball bouncing cool idea to. Just wished the gameplay would be lot faster, the player movement feels very slow. Maybe speed up of enemy bullets and player speed could be perfect. Or some kind of dodge with a cooldown with no iframe. One of my favorites this jam :D

somehow i could only play it on the itch.io page just for your info

Good game! The player movement seems to be on the slow / slippery side. The controls could be described better. But aside from that, great job!

Very pretty game!

The music and graphics are really enjoyable. I feel that the music matched the pace of the character and play style quite well. The transparent changes to the map were easy to pick up from the first playthrough.

I wished there was a player interactive block or dodge (with cooldown) to get out of difficult situations.

Great work. :)

The art style is beautiful and the assets look great, great job! The idea and mechanics are simple but it works, I think that working more on the animations and visual effects would improve a lot. Well done! XD

The art is fantastic! I like the happy music tune, too!

The game is a very clean and tight design. I like the incrementing difficulty.

My two wishes would be: I wish the player move speed was a little faster. I wish one gained a power or ability to help mitigate the large amount of balls that show up in later rounds. It would be more fun to proactively mitigate, instead of just needs to wait for the right route to open up.

I got hooked by the art. I love it. Such a cute and unique style. I loved the intro as well!

About the controls I'd recommend using the axis and not the direct keys, in this way you wont need to have any sort of mapping button in the UI.

Considering the gameplay, it is very nice and engaging. The movement system could use some improvement however. For a bullet-style game like this one, faster and snappier movement would make it more engaging imho.

Overall a nice idea. With some polishing it could be a worthy ship!

The game was visually very pleasing (unfortunately, it didn't work for me in fullscreen mode) - cool transitions and a well-drawn backstory. For some reason, the WASD keys didn't work for me (only AD affected movement), so I played using the arrow keys. The sound was also top-notch. I would like the character movement to be slightly more responsive, and for us to move a bit faster (you could also speed up the spheres), I think this would make the game a bit more dynamic and engaging.

A wonderful game with charming visual style, thank you!

I like the concept and the art, I feel like the movement is weird but it's a good game. Good job!

coolguybrad 2024-04-24 22:17

I love the art style and the SFX, I feel like the movement was a bit unresponsive or slow but I see how it balances the game's difficulty I just wonder if there's a way to make it feel more responsive without making the game too easy. An audio slider would have been cool to have too, the game was a little loud. Bug-wise I think the WASD and other movement keybinds got switched on the top right. But overall, I had a great time! beautiful submission!!!

That's such a fun game! Absolutely love the art, also love the fact that the 'tutorial' is display on the right :)

fabonacci 2024-04-25 09:42

With a better movement for the character and ability, like a dash. It could have a really smooth gameplay. Art's are cool, i would love to see more a polish lighting orbs. This is nice

joshua-miller-pio 2024-04-25 14:02

Really had a ton of fun you should be proud! Game play was really enjoyable, with a few polishes here and there it would be steam ready!

yoyoj 2024-04-25 15:59

The artstyle is great ! Nice colors and overall clean. A few polishes and really good ! Well done !

Nice entry, the graphical style, especially of the characters and the introduction, is particularly well done. From a gameplay perspective, I see potentially two points of improvement: the character controls and the introduction of new mechanics in the levels. For controls, the slowness of the character makes the experience more difficult and less visceral. Perhaps increasing the speed and adding a dash would make the game more dynamic... And for mechanics, maybe adding new mechanics gradually throughout the game, rather than just increasing the number of turrets. Overall, a very nice entry for this jam, congratulations.

Random walls can and will mess up your pathing mid-collecting titan parts, as well as projectile avalanche after this on later rounds (it should be hard, and it is, just in probably unfair side), and there should be some changes how game chooses collectibles locations, 1 of the rounds 3 of them just spawned on top of themselves. All cons I'll point out. Everything else - quite enjoyable 🙂

kanity 2024-04-27 13:59

Peculiar idea, I think it's pretty cool! Love the art, palette, atmosphere. And how the layout of the walls changes, but with a hint on where they are gonna be. I assume that placement of titan parts is random (as on one level I got a bunch of them in same spot, I think 4 at once) which is not a bad thing but makes luck one of the factors in the playthrough :)

I got through 6 rounds, died in 7th. UI is also cute by the way, the hearts and a little tutorial too, it's all presented in a neat and clear way.

My main complaint is that the movement feels too slow. Ofc if you decide to change it, the speed of projectiles will also need to be adjusted.

Thank you for the game, it was a nice experience ^^
