A bit hard to come up with a good strategy .. tried the first three rooms and didn't get them all :( .. I like the graphics and the remove sommon and placement mechanics. Well done.

Hey fellow LD48-er! I remember your Jupiter II game, and LD 48 was my previous LD as well.
This game is really challenging, but awesome! Took me a lot of tries to just beat level 1 haha. But I started to get the hang of it after a while. Love the music - definitely kept me engaged to keep trying despite many early failures.
That lasted till about level 4 then it kind of got overwhelming having to keep so many different movement/attack patterns in my head, so I had a hard time making predictive strategic moves. I kind of just made random decisions trial and error to search for the solutions.
Definitely an ambitious concept! There are some tricky design challenges to convey so much information and I really think it needs an "Into the Breach" level of detail to what is shown. Being able to see predictive highlighted tiles or visual previews of where units would be moving would have helped a ton. But that would be wayyy out of scope. What you accomplished for 48 hrs is crazy good!!
Love all of the different animal designs and visuals! They have a lot of charm. I also really appreciated the free choice to try any level in the game. I had a lot of fun! Great work
@mdotedot Thanks for playing! I'm very new to making puzzle games and the concept was wonky, so I totally get if the difficulty was off or if it was overly confusing. Thanks for the feedback!
@goodwincek Hey that was a fun one to work on! Thanks for trying this one! This is the first time I've tried making a puzzle game for LD and I'm sure it shows  I'm glad you were able to get the hang of it eventually though. Plenty of rough spots that I think could have been buffed out with more time and more experience working with puzzles. Thank you so much for the feedback, it's incredibly valuable!
I am a fan of Zachitronics and this has a very similar vibe. I will probably return to it later to explore more in-depth, but this feels like a can of worms in complexity that I don't have the focus to get wrapped up into today.
I played through the first 4 levels and it was difficult to visualize what would happen at first, so I just stumbled through with trial and error, but I got the hang of the systems, which I think is a fantastic sign for a puzzle game!
Cool game! Love the themeing and atmosphere. I know the pain of making puzzle games and you did really well! You did a great job of conveying information to the player and I never felt lost. I will say that with a lot going on on screen, my best strategy was to guess a position and hit play instead of playing out the solution in my head. Trying to think multiple rounds in advance was tricky. I really liked the designs though. Great job
I find it pretty difficult but you made a great puzzle game, congrats!
Very interesting puzzler! Got stuck on level 3 before I realized that there are other ways besides eating to get rid of them :D I think you did an excellent job! Some of the levels had me stumped for a few minutes before I figured out the trick. Lots of trial and error, though, as solutions aren't obvious on sight.
Very charming game, well done!
Cool music, a nice humorous intro and a unique puzzle mechanic - nice work! I did find it pretty tricky to work out the rules and why my summoned creatures died or why I lost the games, perhaps a bit more visual feedback might have made things a bit more clear?
I really liked this game. I completed all the levels. All the movements are hard to grasp, but when you finish the level it feels so satysfing. I discovered a bug, if you select one of the summons, then press 'remove summon' and select one of the enemies you can change their position.
Incredibly fun and challenging. I love seeing ecology games too!
Great game! Reminds me of Into the breach (one of my favourite games). I love the artstyle. I love the mechanic where you can calculate in your mind what's gonna happen and plan to place your units (kind of like chess, or into the breach). Congrats!
Very challenging puzzler, a bit too much for my tastes, but it's good! I really like that you can kinda play out what each creature will do in advance. Love the setting too, great idea!
It was very challenging, but I managed to complete it all. (Although I migh have used a bug that let you grab and move the creatures that are already on the map. I used it only once ;P)
a really good puzzle game, really got me thinking of some of the levels I played, will likely come back to complete all levels at some point
So cool, I juste want more levels ! Just some problems with the UI (cannot cancel with right click on the left part of the UI)
Absolutely stellar music and I loved the world map! I could not beat all the levels the intended way but only because I was not smart enough! I did find a small exploit if I tried to summon one of my creatures atop of an already existing one I could replace the existing one and thus trivialize the levels. All in all super innovative I dig it!
Cool game! Really really tough at the start, when I first got stuck I really wanted to be lazy and just quit, but I am happy I stuck around :D -- once I figured out what's going on it was fun and interesting. I finished all the rooms, but I am not fully sure if I used a bug to do so -- you can remove summons while the game is "playing" which made some of the latter levels easier than level 4 for example, which leads me to believe it might be a bug. Good job on the game!
Really good entry, high production value I feel ! The puzzle were really hard for me ! Well done !
This game's humor is on point! The puzzles were fire as well! Only problem is i wish i could reposition the summons instead of having to remove and replace them.
A good game with interesting mechanics that brings to mind the old puzzles. Good job!
