LD55 — Summoning

Necromatcher by wilsk 2024-04-15T09:36:01Z

Neat concept you have here! I really like the storytelling and the different sprites for humans vs undead! I have to admit I got a little stuck on the second level because it was not clear to me that I could move diagonally, it would have been nice if the areas I could place in would have been highlighted all the time and not just on hover.

Cosmic Misadventures by vidarn 2024-04-17T20:13:55Z

Wow I loved this! The art the music the story it all meshed so well together! The way the pieces fit together was great! For my liking it could have been a little bit harder but you made more than up for it with the story and the characters. That they fit together perfectly in the end and that the button said go home really pulled at my heartstrings. Really really great job, thank you for this experience!

Patty Panic by thomz12 2024-04-16T17:13:32Z

Super clean game! Liked it very much! A further mechanic to spice it up would have been nice, maybe something like hazards you have to avoid or seating certain colors together for better score. Super impressive for it being in your own engine!

Runic Distractions by 1y1e 2024-04-16T17:00:36Z

Love this! Super creative and fun! All hail the Dark Lord! Would have liked some audio feedback when I changed a rune since I found myself still mashing when the part I wanted was already locked in. The game was the perfect length for this style of game cudos!

Unsummoner's Saga: Disaster in the Village by josemwarrior 2024-04-16T19:26:33Z

I really loved the art style you went for! The humor was really great and even though the mechanic was on the simpler side it was executed very well! What others have said of a way of speeding it up would have been nice from the get go but overall it was very enjoyable!

Wonder Woods by Sarah 2024-04-17T19:22:56Z

Super cute game! I really liked the style you went for! It was absolutely amazing the way you tied the world vitality into the music and the color of the world! It was very relaxing but could have used a little bit more depth to the system, maybe getting the ingredients and then making a pie with them or something. I wish I could have seen my tsundere harvest goddess again... :D

Demon Well by 100th_Coin 2024-04-15T09:57:04Z

This was an absolute treat! I had a shit eating grin on my face the whole time! The voice acting, the writing, the EXPLOSION! It was really fun! I love what you did with the art too! Touching the tnt barrels at the beginning felt a little abrupt how you jump into the cutscene maybe there could be a smother transition? The Song was an absolute banger and I need more of it in my life! I think I will have to give voice acting a try in my next Jam, you are an inspiration!

Clone Stacking by CrociDB 2024-04-15T09:23:23Z

Great game you made! I really like the sound design and music! The puzzles are not to hard and the mechanic is implemented nicely! Could maybe have a little less screen shake  The locks I feel did not contribute much to the difficulty. And it would be nice to have a different button layout. I am on a qwertz-keyboard and z and x are a little annoying in combination. I really liked level 10 it took me for a spin there but then I figured it out and felt so smart!

Runic Summoner by freamdev 2024-04-17T20:49:19Z

Oh I love myself some voxelart! Great job on that! I did feel like the dash might have been a little bit too far as I found myself flying of the edge a little too easily but that might also be a skill issue. Some of the bosses attack seemed really hard to dodge but I liked the variety there. Small character animations like walking would have really elevated this further. Getting to choose what boss I fought was a nice touch!

Delvecologist by Wheffle 2024-04-17T20:00:56Z

Absolutely stellar music and I loved the world map! I could not beat all the levels the intended way but only because I was not smart enough! I did find a small exploit if I tried to summon one of my creatures atop of an already existing one I could replace the existing one and thus trivialize the levels. All in all super innovative I dig it!

Monster World Domination by RilleP 2024-04-15T09:08:03Z

You made a really neat game! I'm super impressed by the enemy AI! And I like the different maps you made, especially the addition of Europe is a nice touch. At times I did feel like I was just spamming ghosts since archers are nice and all but due to them dying over time they become useless the second there are no enemies around. I would have also liked if I did not have to click for each single ghost especially on the bigger maps since you get mana so fast. The mana system felt a bit snowbally. The sound effect and music were great!

Infernup's Ablazummon by Colisan 2024-04-16T21:27:50Z

Really awesome game with a lot of love put into it! I loved the different animations for the humans falling! I had a small issue where there was a constellation of platforms plus altars that made it basically impossible for me to get to the next level without having like 20 corpses at the ready. I would have liked to maybe also be rewarded a little bit for height gained instead of just through the alters? The corpses linking together was absolutely sick I loved it!

He Who Sleeps by benskca 2024-05-03T06:01:19Z

Really nice game you made! I really dig the mood and the sound effects great job! The controls could have been a little tighter and the pixelart looked a little blurry at times maybe fiddle with a pixel perfect camera and how you import your art? A little visual of you being teleported back would have tied the whole thing together a little more. Great narrative choice of having to walk/fly back with the last sacrifice!

The Alumnus Of Darkness by mremmele 2024-04-15T09:45:56Z

Those archers are no joke! I really love the artstyle! And that it is made in your own engine is super impressive. It felt like that the hitboxes were a little bit to big I felt like I got hit even when standing behind my guys. And I feel like the player could have some more hp as its super punishing at the moment.

Reaver by AdamCYounis 2024-04-15T10:33:52Z

I really loved the art and the soundtrack! The game got my blood pumping and it feels amazing getting that clutch banishing that you have been preparing. That said I feel like there are maybe one too many mechanics in there? The different color demons (For which a reminder on the side would have been nice! Red and Blue were obvious enough but I always forgot what the other two were), the shooting of souls to feed the demon, the banishing with the candles and finally the summoning of own demons. The last point especially I could not find a use in but that might have just been me. I also would have light if I could somehow reset candles I placed wrong it felt very punishing placing candles in panic that were so far apart that I could not realistically close it. The best tactic seemed to be to over feed one demon to keep him loyal to you and he gets to destroy all other demons. Then finally banish him. This did make the game lag quite a bit tho. Making the body of the demons undulating particles was a great touch!

Necropets by gasgiant 2024-04-16T22:17:10Z

My heart is so sad for all the lovely pets yet so happy that I could see them again and get revenge for them! The game is super in depth and I love the way you handled how one can tailor their own team, super creative stuff! It did feel kind of bad only getting cats with one health out and the enemy having one thorns and thus destroying you but overall the balance was great! The art is absolutely phenomenal and there is so much detail to be found there cudos!

Haunted Forest by zimny11 2024-04-15T10:10:39Z

Really love the vibe you are creating with the sound design and visuals. I do wish it was a little clearer with what you can interact with and what you need for it. The first "puzzle" is easy enough but then when it opens up it gets confusing. I somehow ended up with the rope and could use it but I could not tell you what of all the steps I took lead to it. The minimalist animations especially after you use the rope are great!

Chief Ghost Crazy Cooking Bonanza by yohadams 2024-04-16T21:40:01Z

Super cute little game! I really enjoyed the music and the art design. I would have liked if I could have skipped a word or maybe pulled up the info again during game time otherwise I was forced to restart the game or wait for the 60 seconds to tick down if I could not get it down right. I love games that also have some further value than just being a game and you certainly laid the groundwork for a learning game here!

Salt them up ! by LittleGamer 2024-04-16T17:24:57Z

Neat game you made! Had a surprising amount of depth to it, when to slow time when to heal or to shoot really good stuff! The controls on keyboard were a little weird maybe something more standard like wasd, and e,x,c would have been better? It took me a while to understand how to absorb the bullets I dodged. Maybe you could have added a drawing to describe what part could absorb the bullets? And a way to close the game would be great! I absolutely loved your art and the different versions of the bat! The witch is super cute!

Sheep Control by DmitryGalias 2024-04-16T21:06:43Z

I like the visuals of your game a lot! The game in of itself does have some issues tho. I felt powerless when a fox appeared I tried to recall my sheep as quickly as possible and most of the times the sheep would still die without me being able to stop it, the time for the sheep to run back to you and get back to grazing was too long and a timer for how much of the day was left would have been nice. Losing sheep at each night felt completely unfair as I could do nothing to prevent it, and the game simply endet for me on day 5 when I had negative 4 sheep because of the nightly fox. All in all I like the concept and its an interesting take on the theme!

Ecaroh's Mecharoh by goodwincek 2024-04-16T19:08:50Z

I really like what you made here! I dig the art style and the sound design was great! I did feel at times like I had little control over what happened. Maybe a more reliable way of attracting charged electrons back to yourself would have been nice. The tutorial was nice but could have been even better if one of the tutorial steps would have been to accurately hit something. Overall super creative and with a lot of love put into it! Keep it up! Edit: Gave it another shot after seeing in the gif that summons can help charge the main crystals this actually made it almost to easy if you just spin around the tower as the enemies seemed to rarely target the summons. But man seeing all the electrons work together was super satisfying! Great job the attraction repulsion system works great!

SLUMMONER by crow_seeds 2024-04-16T20:49:32Z

Super fun game! Loved all the work that went into it! The sound could have used some more mastering as I felt like I could not hear all the hilarious radio chatter and the screams were a little loud. The summons felt a little underwhelming especially the cat just kept dying immediately, which did not feel great for that price, the pigeons were great tho! I am a sucker for boss fights so getting three was a real treat and the voice acting and humor in general were great!

Demon Chalk by AmberFall92 2024-04-16T16:39:50Z

Absolutely stellar game! Love it so much!Screenshot 2024-04-16 183530.png And I will take a fourth place! The leaderboard was not happy with me entering the same name twice I think! Some small bugs I encountered. When you die while you have the scrollwheel menu open the game stays slow motion even when you retry. And if you don't summon the Golem the game just stops spawning new waves because it wants to give you the goblin but cant if you havent summoned the golem first I think? The game got a little bit too easy once goblins were unlocked. I felt like I could have kept going forever. A steeper increase in difficulty would have been nice or even better a bossfight! I dig it that you can play the whole game only with the mouse! And I must say it has again been an absolute treat seeing Mayas art, the music was banger too!!! Great job you all!

The Blinding of Isaac by Cymusi 2024-04-17T20:30:46Z

I really liked the art and the idea of distinct summons! I sadly got stuck a few too many times. First because I pushed the ladder in such a way that I could no longer go through the door and then again 3 times cause I pushed the required vials too far into a corner. Maybe the controls of the first summon could have been a little more forgiving and the vision a little bigger to ease the players into the experience? Super interesting approach to how to control the different summons.

A-BONE-mination by Erivas_Soulares 2024-04-16T22:05:26Z

Looks super polished! I liked the split game idea of it! I did feel like I was moving to slowly for how fast new runes appeared. Especially because one could not throw them away so quickly, the board filled up very quickly. Would have liked to see maybe some hazards on the play area that one has to navigate around and that also restricts where which runes can be made instead of the break neck speed of the blocks. Overall a fun experience!

Exorcist Pianist by Aviv Levy 2024-04-16T17:42:46Z

Super innovative really liked it! I would have loved if the notes I was playing would have meshed more into a song altogether. Maybe there could have been less demons at a time but the sequence then makes a real song. This way I found myself almost mashing at times. The art style is super gorgeous and it creates a great atmosphere!

Unholy One by Rubikon 2024-04-17T18:54:52Z

After I figured out how to get the upgrade I got through until the giant. I really like the idea and voice acting is always a big plus! Would have liked a volume slider so I could have heard it better or some subtitles. I think it might have been better to have fewer upgrades but make them feel more meaningful. The spells on the left side of the book did not seem to do much but I might be wrong. I died quite quickly in the beginning. It would have been nice if I could have sped up the tutorial a bit. I really dig the art style and the humor was also on point!

LD59 — Signal

Ziggy Zapper and the Robot Factory by rogual 2026-04-20T14:11:56Z

Wow really love this game! Great job with the art and the music! Allowing to switch between tracks is awesome!

Super interesting puzzles although I do wish I could skip some of the rooms if I already did them. It took me a while to correctly interpret the moving platform as something i could send my signal to, I got too used to the small robots.

When I went to room 1,2 from the right side something exploded and I don't know what.

Sadly I could only find 18 pieces... 3,3 and 3,4 still elude me... would have been nice if I could have continues after beating the game to get them still!

Super creative work and especially having 20 good! puzzles with all these mechanics in just 48 days is amazing! Great job!

Ziggy Zapper and the Robot Factory by rogual 2026-04-20T14:36:56Z

@rogual Yooo huge! I just dove back in and I found both of the missing pieces! This will put my mind at rest! Again great entry!

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-04-21T21:15:32Z

Wow this is such an amazing little idle game I had to stick around till the end! The amount of amazing art you produced is really astounding great job! I know idle games profit from small increments but having less upgrades that are more immediately impactful would have been nice. I had a problem with the path game, that if there was a loop on the path it would mark everything ahead of me as green if that makes sense? That made it so that I could not always gets a good score... But the game came up often enough that it was not that bad! Again kudos for the amount of stuff that is here from the mini-games and different plants to all the cure art! And I could even color my walls that is some serious dedication! The radial color wheel was such a nice touch! Oh and us bees must stick together! :bee:

Midnight Transmission by Liam 2026-04-21T19:45:10Z

Create job setting the mood! The art is really evocative and I think you nailed the atmosphere! The detection radius of the men and black felt a little bit off. I could have sworn I was outside the circle but still got caught? It would have been nice to have an indicator when I am sufficiently far away to scan again! You really nailed the vibe of sneaking around a city you know well taking the backroads and dodging the evil corporation really great work!

Signal Back! by sinemual 2026-04-20T11:42:09Z

Super neat little game you have here... even if it is very rude.. Screenshot 2026-04-20 133939.jpg

I feel like a way to deselect after purchasing the wrong turn would have been nice. Also gaining income passively instead of clicking multiple times would have been more comfortable. A small animation for the scientist would have also elevated the game! The game is a smitch on the easy side which is good for a jam game! I do feel like the descriptions especially for the third block could have been better, what does it mean no blocks nearby?

Loved the atmosphere and music and it really sparked my need for optimization!

Multiplayer Signal by mdotedot 2026-04-20T11:17:08Z

Wow really ambitions entry! I even found someone to play online with, sadly it got super laggy... I also don't quite understand how the multiplayer deepens the experience of what you have setup? Sure it is cool to work together but if I can solve everything myself why wait for someone else? I dig the minimalist art style and appreciate the settings even if they were a little crude! I can see the vision you had but maybe you tried to fly just a smitch too close to the sun!

Satellite Days by lectvs 2026-04-20T11:53:22Z

Wow what a great entry! And even a boss fight! You are a person after my own heart!

I feel like you could have made it a smitch more difficult and one idea would have been to enforce a minimum distance from the orb. As is the best strategy for most of the game is to just sit inside of the orb as all the spawned signals bounce straight in! A description for the upgrades would have been nice, and since the amount of signals you get per level are always the same maybe something different than a level bar would have fit better? Maybe something like signal strength that increases each level and that gives you the fixed upgrade points?

The bouncing is super satisfying, and you really nailed all the juice you put into each part of the game! From the wiggling to the sound effects and the music kudos!

Fillmore's Island by Jeremy Ryan 2026-04-20T13:19:29Z

Gorgeous art and I love the funky tunes!

I do wish Fillmore would move just a little faster... With how easy it is to yeet the drone outside of your radius and thus having to reset the run-backs could feel a little tedious. If the movement was faster it would have been nice to add additional hazards maybe birds that try to chase the drone in a certain radius?

The zooming out is such an awesome way of showing the progress I really loved that parts of the level I had already beat became part of later puzzles really made the world feel interconnected!

Flirting 101 by OadT 2026-04-20T15:17:34Z

Super neat concept I like it very much the sway of the sprites is really nice!

I would have liked for the projectiles to move a little faster and for the noises to have some pitch variation so they don't get quite so repetitive. I'm thankful for the skip button because I got hard stuck on the one with the two hearts. I feel like it should really show before firing where the projectile will move. Some walls just swallow it others turn it one direction yet others into another one. Having keybinds for the different shots would have been nice too!

Dr. Cool Whale Against The Electronicles by Yorsh 2026-04-20T12:40:37Z

Super sweet entry! I love the upgrade system and using the distance from the mouse for the amplitude of the wave is super creative! I do feel like the initial movement speed is a bit too sluggish, and I wish there was a more discrete way of seeing what phase I am emitting maybe change its color depending on if it is considered high, middle or low? Also maybe make the enemies more visually distinct? Its super important to immediately see if it is a small or a medium one if you want to avoid damage and that is a little hard!

The upgrades felt really satisfying and the whale is super cute! Kudos for making so many 3d models in such a low amount of time!

Licence to Fine by IndigoWolf 2026-04-20T15:46:38Z

Super funny entry! I loved the humor here!

I do somehow feel like this game would have been just as good or maybe even better if there was no driving in it. If I just was able to walk around with a scanner, sniff out those dirty fare dodgers and then finding the right signal would have been great. The way it is at the moment it is slightly too frustrating to drive, aim the dish, where I can't even see it and try to listen to the faint whine of the signal.

Smoke Diss by Andreas Roschal 2026-04-23T18:15:35Z

Super polished entry! Everything just hits right! Great job! I do wish I could retain some of my cards between rounds to prepare for the ultimate soul crushing insult! That Baby Weak & Ancestor Stinky was just waiting to happen! I did not quite understood what gave me more and what less points apart from the obscurities... It all came together to a very funny entry!

Aye Aye, Can't See! by Avhatar 2026-04-23T17:58:48Z

Wow what a super deep game you have created! I really love the whole atmosphere you have put together! The controls feel a little bit to finicky and even with a turn upgrade I did feel like I could never really get to my hard fought for loot quick enough. It also felt like the enemy ships hat a tad too good of an accuracy to feel fair? But maybe I'm just not very good at it  For a game jam you could have probably been better of with just one resource to speed up the feeling of progression. Oh and maybe that was just a me issue but when I did *somehow* die (Cough not by being a bad and greedy captain of course). There was no way to restart the game? All in all I can really see the vision and with some more polish this game could easily be something I could sink many hours in!

Roadkill junction by BadPiggy 2026-04-21T18:31:59Z

Really fun game you made! Great choice in music and it really gets the blood pumping! I really feel like the direction I press for traffic should be where the car goes not be pointing towards the car I want to move. I dig the color pallet and the flip animation!

Fae'calling by BarnabeWild 2026-04-20T15:36:34Z

You really set the mood in a masterful way! I do wish there was a little more too it... I caught the fae about 4-5 times and nothing new happened. I think it would have been nice if the fae always spawned somewhere where you can see it at the beginning, that way the player has a clear goal of where to go while still getting more and more lost in the forest. The framerate was not happy with me whenever a looked towards the cabine I think!

Salvager by J4cko16 2026-04-20T09:03:10Z

Love the audio in this game! You did a great job at conveying the progressing depth!

I do feel like the game is a little too punishing in the beginning. You can rack up so many small fish very quickly and then the run is basically over. I also think it would have been fine if you could gather multiple treasures in a dive as that would speed up progression and I think the game is hard enough that it would not have made it too easy? Maybe at least limit it to a bag that can hold 3 treasures that then can be upgraded?

The overall feeling and art style really hit the mark tho and I love my little dude hanging on his rope and just exploring the depths. I really loved the glowing jellyfish!

Cut Through by ZungryWare 2026-04-21T18:24:11Z

This is super impressive stuff! The amount of VA and the quality of it is really off the charts amazing! The story is super intriguing but I do feel like the gameplay is standing in it's way a little bit. I had the feeling I had some transcriptions down pretty well and they were not accepted. Maybe you could have made the gaps in the transcriptions smaller? Just single words not whole sentences missing?

I also did not always know who was talking and thus in what part of the transcription it should be? Maybe you could have added changing colors based on the speaker just to help the player a little bit more?

You should really keep it up with the storytelling and the audio work it is really amazing!

Mining Deepa by ejunegao 2026-04-20T15:54:36Z

Oh I love what you did with the vision felt really claustrophobic.

Once an enemy got near you it was really tough and I would have liked if I could have gotten something better to escape.

The sound of the digging was a little repetitive maybe add some slight pitch shifting to it?

Loved the art style even if it could have been clearer where the enemies front and behind was!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T08:27:51Z

@j4cko16 Thank you very much for your review! What you mention is exactly what I feared could happen. The way I communicate with the player sadly did not quite hit the mark! The overarching goal is to bring back the eggs the queen lays to the nest. Then after you have done so 3 times you win. Something I did not mention anywhere in game as I hoped the player might naturally play that way :face_palm: I added a small bit to the description to give players a little more direction!

There is also honey on the other corner of the map that acts as an upgrade but is only there for a short while after its signal is given.

My goal was to force the player to make a decision and weigh for what they have time and what is the most urgent at the time.

The balancing of the birds for sure needed more playtesting

Again thank you very much for playing!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T13:27:07Z

@indigowolf Thanks for giving it a shot! Just to narrow it down, shooting the enemies did not work? And you picked up for example the blue glow from the blue flowers while the queen was glowing blue and you could not give it to her? It would definitely have been good to add an indicator when you try to give her the food she does not want at the moment to reinforce what to do...

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T14:14:48Z

@indigowolf Hmm the color is around her body not beneath her which in hindsight was a bad decision  If you give her the correct nectar she will do a little animation with a heart and her hunger meter should fill up.

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T14:54:43Z

@frowsyfrog I'm glad you liked the jokes :D Oh you need to hide in the shadows there are 3 little caves that are darker then the rest if you are in there the birds cannot get you!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T14:55:43Z

@barnabewild Thanks for playing! Yeah I thought I would rather have the sound too low than by accident blow someones eardrums! I still have not found a good way of testing if the game audio is at a good level for the majority of players

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T15:00:44Z

@oadt Thanks for playing! Yeah the sounds were recorded like 2 hours before the deadline and could have used more polish for sure! Ohh that was supposed to be honey  It makes you faster!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-21T19:35:12Z

@rafa-fiedo Thanks for giving it a shot! I feared it might be to hard... There are 3 little nooks that are darker than the rest of the level. When you hear the bird whistling you have a few seconds to go hide there!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-22T08:50:09Z

@avhatar Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the sounds! I had a blast making them! Yeah I wish I worked a little more on something akin to a tutorial... Were you able to hide from the birds or is that not clear at all how it works with the shadows? And were you able to get the new eggs that the queen sometimes spawns to the nest?

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-22T09:11:01Z

@avhatar awesome! I'm glad to have heard from at least one person that was able to complete my convoluted mess! Thank you so much you made my day!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-22T13:37:06Z

@avhatar yo that's sick that you are making an explicit list! Gonna aim for the s-tier next time around! :muscle:

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-22T18:49:31Z

@liam Those are some egg-cellent news! Thanks for playing! Yeah the shooting was something I implemented quite at the beginning thinking it would have a bigger impact. Then I ran into issues... I think in the end it would have bee-n better to just scrap shooting all together and let you run the bugs over since you yourself have no hp to worry about. Especially considering I did the brilliant move of having the bugs spawn on a diagonal. :face_palm: But oh well it would not bee a game jam without some regrets.

Smoke Signals by WormKingBoo 2026-04-21T19:09:37Z

The most addictive game of red light green light I have ever played! The art work and atmosphere is absolute peak! I got to admit tho I'm not a good smoker... When exactly am I supposed to inhale and when to exhale? Is it better to have a long drag or multiple small ones. And the coughing would have been better if it was not on every hiding but just sometimes? Those red eyes of my boss will haunt me in my dreams...

This game is such a vibe! Love the aesthetics and the music!

The controls for the van were a little finicky especially near the ramps. I kept hitting an invisible wall to the south is that intended?

Oh man just read that you did not make the music yourself that is a pity... but you did a good job in selecting it to fit your setting.

LOUD TOWN by qwesasuke 2026-04-21T18:55:12Z

Great job with the art and the sound effects! I had a small problem with the ui, if I had my browser in full screen I could not see the text at the top or my health. The shooting felt a little unsatisfying as I felt like I hit something but nothing happened. Having it be only black and white and the atmosphere was a phenomenal mix!

Saving Private Morse by fgreeman 2026-04-24T15:33:23Z

Super clean execution of the concept! Great job especially as a first game jam game! I think with just a single sound that you modulate slightly for the Morse input you could have elevated it even more!

I wish there was a checkpoint of each area because once I died in the vertical laser getting back took forever! The obstacles should have some anticipation. Maybe an exclamation mark before something appears would have been nice to give the player more agency.

A button instead of clicking would have also been nice as mashing a key is nicer than clicking at least for me.

The artwork is phenomenal and fits together beautifully especially for a compo game that is super impressive! Keep up the great work!

I also tried sos or ld59 as the secret codes but I guess those are not it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Boba’s Love Story by ble 2026-04-21T19:19:40Z

I love Boba and I will let him defend my life! I mean what is not to love a gripping story a fun little mechanic and even a bonus stage! Great job! I did have some stutters in the beginning I assume it's the godot thingy when a particle effect is rendered for the first time on a new browser but otherwise it went smoothly! How did you go about detecting the shapes? The system worked really well with just the right amount of wiggle room!

Lost Focus by Helslo 2026-04-24T15:19:46Z

Congrats on you first ludum dare entry! Your interpretation of the theme is super creative and the way one has to use the signal to create the platforms is very interesting! I feel like the created platforms could have been a little bigger just to allow the player some more wiggle room! The second room was hard! The third room was the perfect introduction for a new mechanic that then gets iterated upon on the next level! Also the animation in the beginning was very cute! Good job!

Super cute game I love it!

The game play is simple but does it very well! I did not love the last level since I simply send each chick over by itself and that dragged it out a bit.

I got even 2 extra stars somehow :D Screenshot 2026-04-20 172429.jpg

The music and art-style really did come together nicely great job!

While You Were Here by jpat 2026-04-20T12:10:28Z

Really dig the whole atmosphere of the game! How did you record the nature sounds! I thought about something similar but only have my shitty pc microphone...

I think the golem could move a little faster overall and I don't really like that the signal can be blocked so easily made level 3 very frustrating...

Great job with the overall presentation I love the whistling!
