LOVED IT! I only wish I could come a little closer to the enemies without taking a hit. I also appreciate that the title screen worked kind of like a tutorial to understand the mouse controls. Well-polished and innovatived, congratulations!
Very well done, interesting gameplay and usage of drawing circles as both an attack and a summoning mechanic!
My biggest issue was the controls. With mouse, I have a tendency to move my mouse pointer well ahead of where I want to move, and it often put it out of the window, causing the right click to open a menu overtop of things. Controller would have been the perfect alternative, but for some reason the stick only allowed me to move left and right, so I had to use the D-pad, making it harder to draw actual circles.
As a result, I was unable to get very far; sorry about that! What I saw was very nice though!
The game is so smooth and clean and can barely believe it was made during the jam. Its a delicius gameplay, once you have all the miniums, feels like playing Vampire Survivors.
In web, the use of the RML sometimes open pop-ups.

I love it! The art is amazing, the sound design fits so well. Its a very cute and unique concept. The cards felt a little weird and like they didn't match the style as much as the rest and I wasn't sure how to reference them again but that could very much just be a me issue lol :)

This is really good! The sound when you create the circles is really satisfying, and because you have so much chalk juice you don't need to make that perfect circle. Unless you want to have it big of course, but I like that this automatically gives you the option for different strategies. The cards are a cool addition, giving some variety to the gameplay as well. My only complaints are that I'm not sure when I get a new card, and that the pacing is a bit slow. But I really like that you have a leaderboard. Great music as well. Amazing job!

Incredibly cool idea! Feedback was satisfying. I loved the game loop and the idea of using movement for summoning. So for the best game I suck at laughing: I kept drawing ovals instead of circles. Definitely coming back to this!

Yeah, Casti! I am so happy to see my goblin babies shine. During our playtesting, it was the mushroom build we thought would be most OP. But definitely looks like we have a bit of balancing work to do. I'm still waiting to see someone post a shroom-filled screen :D
Absolutely stellar game! Love it so much!Screenshot 2024-04-16 183530.png And I will take a fourth place! The leaderboard was not happy with me entering the same name twice I think! Some small bugs I encountered. When you die while you have the scrollwheel menu open the game stays slow motion even when you retry. And if you don't summon the Golem the game just stops spawning new waves because it wants to give you the goblin but cant if you havent summoned the golem first I think? The game got a little bit too easy once goblins were unlocked. I felt like I could have kept going forever. A steeper increase in difficulty would have been nice or even better a bossfight! I dig it that you can play the whole game only with the mouse! And I must say it has again been an absolute treat seeing Mayas art, the music was banger too!!! Great job you all!

It's a very unusual and interesting game, but at some point it becomes difficult to understand what's what, but I think I'll try it again to figure it out! Good luck in the development of the game

Was legit the whole package! The act of drawing the circles was real satisfying and made for some nice tension. Allowing the circle to both summon and do damage also made for some fun strategy.

I can see that as a game that people would pay for (or download on phone). Graphics are really pretty, sounds are fitting, and gameplay is so addictive.
Few, a bit hard for me, but that is not game's fault. I like how it looks and sounds. BTW, is there a way to listen separate soundtrack? :) Drawing around enemies to hurt them - is a brilliant mechanic!

This is very nice solution of the theme with unique mechanics. It's also very interesting to play and art is great. You added a lot of progression to enemies and the character.
Sounds are great. I enjoyed the most a circle drawing sound effect.

Pretty fun and a very polished one. I like that the core mechanism for summoning has an additional element in dealing damage to the enemies inside the circle. It would be cool to see more stuff of that kind. Maybe we have different kind of chalk that can draw obstacles, or live a damage over time thing on the ground, require different shapes etc.

It would be nice if you kept working on this game a bit, its seriously addicting. Some features and tweaks I would propose are: - Make cards selectable via keyboard buttons (1,2,3, ...) (the scrolling interrupted the gameplay a bit) - Make the different summons effective against different types of enemies (so just spamming one summon is not a viable option) - Maybe some deckbuilding mechanic where you have to select your cards before each level. - Maybe some updgrade mechanic that lets you double down on one playstyle

This is a super impressive entry! The simple but clever 'draw the circle' mechanic hooks you in right away and is a smart take on the theme. The music was FIRE too. Excellent work -- I really enjoyed this one!

Love love love!! The graphics are so cute! I love drawing the chalk circles and seeing it activate. It's so fun to think about what cards to use and the amount of chalk that you have, this game feels addicting in the best way possible. You guys truly did an amazing job.

Very neat game! Once I got over the initial hump around when I unlocked the squad (can get swarmed very easily), it's smooth sailing, especially once goblin towers get unlocked. I was expecting a boss fight or something but seems like it just keeps going which is completely fine for a jam game! As someone else pointed out, I wish you can get a bit closer to enemies without taking damage, it's a bit difficult to tell what their range is, but other than that, really solid foundation and great entry!

Great entry, I struggled a bit creating circles (I know, even that's difficult :sob: ) but I loved summoning all the different creatures, so much art went into this!

Fun game but not suitable for Mac :(
The only thing holding this back at all is the method for drawing circles. Everything else it top tier, and t here's tons of content here and it's interesting to see what you unlock next. GREAT USE OF THEME! This has a lot of familiar mechanics and elements but it somehow feels completely fresh at the same time. Good freakin job!
Fun and action packed! The music gets you hyped and the graphics are top notch. The gameplay feels similar to something like Pokemon Ranger with drawing circles around the enemies to damage them but very unique at the same time.
Wow, that's a pretty cool idea! I have to say I appreciate it a lot you gave us main menu as a tutorial on the mechanic. That's a great usage of main menu, and gave me time to figure out the technique. I think it's very responsive in terms of circle (it doesn't have to be too precise and feels good). And the visual style is really cute too!
I didn't play a lot because there is more pressure on my hand pressing two mouse buttons all the time and I am recovering from mouse-hand pain now so ;_; but I did play for enough time to die for the first time! xD and see a few diff cards and enemies ^^ all the details are very pretty and the game looks very polished!
