I don't see an embedded game, or a link to where the game is compiled and ready to play... just to the source code?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Runic Summoner

it _looks_ pretty cool, but its missing an executable - there is only the source code, no release. would love to play it, but i'm not gonna compile it myself lol
We want to play, please, provide a link 😉
@the-lame-brain @comfylenny @patbgames I have set up that itch link 4 times last night and it keeps dissapearing, hopefully it stays now! Thanks for letting me know it went away again :P
The art and mood looks fantastic but in the itch web build the three enemies spawn and after that none more. Not sure if i'm already dead since i can't kill them fast enough.
Yay! The link is there now! I am glad, you obviously put a lot of work into this!
Fantastic game, how did you make the models?
@widerhold Yea, I probably should have made the first waves a bit more exciting. Enemies spawn every 40-ish seconds, and the plan was for the 2-3 waves to be very slow to give you time to familiarize yourself with the controls and the map. Things ramp up a bit more in later waves/once you fill one of the runes up.
Thanks for playing! :)
@the-lame-brain Thank you, was way more work then I put into any jams before :)
@josang1567 Thanks for playing! I used Magicalvoxel an open source voxel editor, and many many tears, I'm not an artist by nature so drawing/modelling is always a struggle :)
Cool game. I feel like the enemies had a little bit much hp. The art style is nice, I like voxel graphics and the glow on the projectiles was satisfying.
@rhewid Yes, I think the game desperately needed about an extra hour playtesting and ballance tweeking, both in terms of enemy stats and spawning frequency. I think cutting everything into 1/4th and making them spawn 4 times faster would of made a more enjoyable experience. Maybe a post comp version
Thank you for playing!
@freamdev very cool game! i really like the progression and the graphics - i think it could benefit from an experience bar and maybe some hit-feedback, maybe just flash the opponents in red when they get hit by a projectile. other than that, super nice work!
I was searching too for the link :D
@comfylenny Thank you for the feedback! The experience bar is *technically* there. Completly charging a boss rune gives you about ~3.3 levels. Yes it's not intuitive and a terrible design, the game really needed an extra hour of playtesting by someone who wasn't me. Hit feedback I didn't even think of, should be fairly simple to do for a post comp version!
@rakowu Sure hope it stays there now!
Cool game but a bit too difficult for my tastes
Nice game, love the voxel style and models. would have loved some animation in the characters.
I don't give up easily and still have the ambition to make it. But it's really close to the limit :D The troops spawn too quickly while you're still trying to beat the boss. But I think it's generally difficult to find the right level. I always try to make my games a bit easier because as a developer you know the game inside out. But this time my game was too easy xD...
@potatofinch @rakowu And here I was worrying I made it too easy... but I belive in you!
@arcolm Thanks for playin, animations... man I was already crying from having to draw voxel
Finally i killed them all xD
@rakowu Awesome! Made my day you spent so much time on it :) Now time to go for the secret achivment! (hint in the lore page)
Oh good to know xD I will look at it.
Awesome voxel art! I'm glad you didn't give up, it was a really fun game, challenging but fun.
@sozey Thank you for playing :)
Cool game overall! I liked the graphics and audio a lot. I have a few suggestions if you want to expand the game: - make the character a little bit faster to improve feeling of control - rotate the camera towards the closest enemies - add character animations
Overall a cool entry, gg!
Oh I love myself some voxelart! Great job on that! I did feel like the dash might have been a little bit too far as I found myself flying of the edge a little too easily but that might also be a skill issue. Some of the bosses attack seemed really hard to dodge but I liked the variety there. Small character animations like walking would have really elevated this further. Getting to choose what boss I fought was a nice touch!
@thomas-bringer Thank you for playing and the suggestions! The character does get faster with levelups and it slowly feela better to run around... you are onto something
@domenixius Thank you! Yes the dash is way too long but I felt it was hillarious to fall off the platform

Nice little game. Well balanced. I thought the red bases was hitting me... But after I understood it wasn"t the case it was quite fun. Camera would have been better if it was more top down. I REALLY liked the RMB effect, would love to see others patterns it's so satisfying. Great game!
I love the voxel models! The game was pretty fun, and the different enemy types added a good amount of variety. Very satisfying to melt down the bosses once I reached higher levels. I think a UI element for your current level would have been useful, I saw my left mouse attack upgrade but I wasn't sure why haha. Great submission!!
It is a nice game, good job! The balance of this game is great, and the enemies are good
@schadocalex Thank you for playing and well done taking over the world :P I'll experiemtn some with different camera angles, it did feel like you are way too blind to things "below" the player.
@eric-nguyen Thank you so much, the models was a lot of fun to make. I think I need to learn how to draw UI for the next jam because I couldn't even make a button scale normally!
@martonel Thank you for playing
Pretty fun shooter, and pretty tough too; I enjoyed the challenge of trying to summon and kill the 3 bosses. I was able to do it, but I had to retry 2-3 times before succeeding. I think the gameplay loop is solid, but the player movement felt way too heavy and made it kind of hard to dodge bullets. I also think knowing where the dash/teleport would take me before using it would be good info to know, so I could utilize the ability better. Overall though, I had fun with this one, great job!
@alzhu1 Thanks for playing, I think maybe making a line where the teleport will end and only teleport on key up instead of key down could be a solution. Gona add it to my post comp version list
The game loop is quite enjoyable. Intricate back story and a presence of a lore is really nice. I like the voxel art style. It is not a huge deal but the character animations could make the game look much better. I did not encounter any bugs. Good job!
@krummsakura Thank you for playing. Unfortunatly I didn't know much about how to export voxel models for Unity so all model is just one block, for animations I would need to redo all of them and slice them up at the body parts then make the animations. Maybe in a future project
cool graphics, great atmosphere, starts really slow but gets more challenging later. love it
@magus77 Thank you! If you are intrested there is a post compo version that ramps up much faster! :smiling_imp:
Interesting game, love the death blossom. Excellent work!
@digital-bacon Thank you, glad you had fun  !
