such a cute and cozy game! I especially love how you can change all the colors

asieke 2026-04-21 09:27

This game was way too addictive! Great job!

pokeydem 2026-04-21 19:59

Very well-made game. Love how the art style and music create such a cozy atmosphere. Also, small tips about different mechanics were very helpful!

crispypear 2026-04-21 20:13

This was really great, and sooo, sooo polished. What do you mean I can pick the colors of the walls and floor? What do you mean there's so many upgrades that you have to scroll? The feedback I have is too much to expect from a jam game, but I found it tedious when I wanted to buy several pots or flowers at once. I also wish there was a way to sell several items at once. Lastly I found the button for Ms. Beehive to always be in the way.

I could really see this being a mobile game that would do well. Well done!

2026-04-21 20:27

Such a cute and soothing art style—the warm color palette feels really comforting, I love it! And the ability to change colors is just too adorable!

sirlich 2026-04-21 20:28

Very ambitious! There were lots of small features that I was suprised to see in a jam game -like multiple layouts for the store, and a right-click-radial menu for purchasing plants, re-coloring the walls, etc. How did you find time to prioritize all of those features?

block97 2026-04-21 20:37

Screenshot 2026-04-21 153323.png That cash register sound was music to my ears, amazing game I blinked and an hour went by!

2026-04-21 20:41

The art style is absolutely charming, everything looks so cute and polished!

rangoiv 2026-04-21 20:50

The game is very addictive, it was very fun. This is a lot of work for one weekend! Improvement ideas: it was a little frustrating selling current pots to upgrade, so make it easier to replace current plants. On the balancing side of the game, maybe a bit more delay on the bee and on the starting flowers. Great game! :D

2026-04-21 21:00

What an EXCELLENT game!! I found myself playing and playing, getting that sweet honeymoney! It's cozy, addictive, cute and easy to play! I need to test other games but this one sucked my time like it was nothing! Great job to the team! ♥

domenixius 2026-04-21 21:15

Wow this is such an amazing little idle game I had to stick around till the end! The amount of amazing art you produced is really astounding great job! I know idle games profit from small increments but having less upgrades that are more immediately impactful would have been nice. I had a problem with the path game, that if there was a loop on the path it would mark everything ahead of me as green if that makes sense? That made it so that I could not always gets a good score... But the game came up often enough that it was not that bad! Again kudos for the amount of stuff that is here from the mini-games and different plants to all the cure art! And I could even color my walls that is some serious dedication! The radial color wheel was such a nice touch! Oh and us bees must stick together! :bee:

lemonchicken47 2026-04-21 21:22

Probably the most complete game I've come across in the jam. Incredible amount of detail and polish given the short time frame + super relaxing gameplay

recursor 2026-04-21 22:04

I love the vibe and the art is great actually. There is something addicting about clicking on the flowers and hearing my money go up. Also it has tons of personality, and the two bee games are a cute addition.

fae-pdf 2026-04-21 22:21

Capture d'écran 2026-04-22 001152.png

Adorable art-style, really cute management/incremental game. Overall, I really REALLY liked it! Some feedbacks/thoughts:

- The game felt a little frictionless in terms of spending (you start very soon making SO MUCH MONEY that a lot of the upgrades/mechanics kind of stop making sense, like the upgrade reducing the cost of plants and pots) and decision-making (bigger pot -> always better, most expensive/advanced plant -> always better, it seems), so you're kind of always just selling and mass-replanting the newest plant for each type of pot. - It's very hard to make good incremental games actually!! You did great, it's a very fun "numbers go up" game, very satisfying! - You've managed to fit SO MUCH inside the game in just two days! It's really pretty and really polished! (Although my PC was STRUGGLING when I stopped playing, especially when I would release a bee swarm for like a minute with like 50 bees in it) - The art style is lovely and the mechanics are smartly designed. The minigames kind of "get in the way" of the management flow a little, but they're also pretty welcome distractions, so... I'm a little torn but I think I like them overall! The path-following minigame did feel a little frustrating because the game kind of highlights whole sections of it, and they you can't earn "precision %" off of that section no matter if you follow it or not, and that makes some path kind of "unwinnable" because of their layout. - The tutorial messages felt very intrusive and I had no way to turn them off :'< I don't like tutorials, so I wish I had a way to disable her, even though her character design is GORGEOUS.

Great work, EXTREMELY impressive! I hope you had fun, because I did playing your game. Best of luck for your future jams!

jpat 2026-04-21 22:48

This game is so cute! I love the mini games, the art style, and the sound effects (that cash register sound especially is so satisfying.) The amount of polish here is incredible for a jam game! and the cozy atmosphere pulled me in immediately.

I found myself losing track of time just clicking flowers and watching the money roll in. Great job on this one!

gamcho 2026-04-21 23:13

Lovely game!! Cute artsytle and chill gameplay, I like the style and how kind tutorial it is.

sarah 2026-04-22 02:16

Thanks so much for playing everyone! And thanks for all the kind feedback, it means a lot after so much work in three days! (: @universeflow @asieke @pokeydem @celiolymph @5n4k3 @lemonchicken47 @recursor

@crispypear I had wanted to get a 'Sell' or 'Buy' mode in that would allow placing/selling multiple in one go but I ran out of time sadly! I also meant to add a settings toggle for Ms.BeeHive for anyone who no longer needed her tips but for now we can see her as a very persistent bee (:

@sirlich Recolouring the walls somehow felt like a very important feature to me because I absolutely couldn't decide what colour the walls should be but ultimately picked green anyway xD I found the time by not sleeping and taking no breaks (I'm paying for it today haha)

@block97 wow! very nice swarm!!

@rangoiv I'm not sure if you realized but you could buy a medium pot in place of a small pot without having to sell it! And in terms of balancing, I never trust game jammers to play for so long so I typically force them right into the action. But I agree, a slower start might be nicer (:

@vincenthuet HoneyMoney is what I should call the currency I think xD

@domenixius We did struggle with the pathing on the minigame and it was one of the things we ran out of time to finish tweaking, but since it was quick and happened often we let it bee (: The mini game suffered so we could paint the walls!!

@fae-pdf Thanks for all the thoughts! I had some similar ones as well but we leaned toward the side of making it (super) easy for the jammers to get more enjoyment out of a short play of it (: I'm thinking about adding a post jam, more balanced version too! The game is also NOT optimized in any way, so it does struggle a wee bit on my machine as well haha. In allll my game jam games I had some little popup with hints to help anyone who may be struggling, but I almost always remember to add a button to turn it off! This time I forgot and near the end when I realized, I thought well at least she is pretty! And thanks again for the detailed feedback!!

@jpat This was one of my most ambitious jams yet polish (and art) wise, since we're on our last few I went hard this jam haha!

@gamcho She is a Canadian Bee, so she is very nice!

Thanks again for trying out our game! This is somewhere around my 22nd+ Ludum Dare (including my entries on old accounts, but I lost track of them - 32 was my first) and every jam I try to make something a little better than last time. I barely slept or ate food this weekend to get things done! BUT IT WAS WORTH IT <3

pres2300 2026-04-22 04:45

This was a really great and polished game! I can't believe you managed to not only make a game in a weekend, but then also added two mini games! I really enjoyed all the upgrade options and can see myself spending a lot of time on this game. Nice work!

venomousmouse 2026-04-22 07:39

Such a sweet game! I like it!

2026-04-22 09:24

I like that it's possible to paint the room

pipetto 2026-04-22 10:38

Cool game! It really feels like a lot of work went into it

msipp27 2026-04-22 14:03

trying to follow the bee signals freezes the game for me...

erilhir 2026-04-22 14:06

A really lovely little game – I’m truly impressed that you managed to create all this in just three days, with only two people (especially when I realised you could customise the decor and change the colours !) The gameplay loop is effective, and the mini-games are simple but fun. I’d like to say that the graphics are particularly warm and cheerful; you can tell a lot of time and love have been spent on them <3

sarah 2026-04-22 15:17

@pres2300 @venomousmouse @hoptoad @pipetto @erilhir Thanks for playing!! I'm so happy everyone is enjoying the colour options! I was worried it wasn't worth the time or effort haha.

And I spent about half my time (at least) working on the art <3

@msipp27 unfortuntately thats still a bug we haven't been able to track down. it sometimes freezes on the first open, but restarting the game seems to fix it! (there's a save file so no progress is lost)

jasmin 2026-04-22 18:06

Wow, you really accomplished a lot during this game jam! The game feels impressively rich and full of content. It’s clear how much effort went into it, and the variety keeps things engaging. Really enjoyable experience overall—great job!

lukas-leder 2026-04-22 18:08

super cute game, artsyle and audio are awesome. it was very exciting to unlock various plants

theg 2026-04-22 18:16

there's a lot in this game for just 3 days. i found a few bugs: the bees. probably the attention demanding incremental game i've played?

sarah 2026-04-22 20:52

Thanks for playing! @jasmin @lukas-leder

@theg It's one of the most unoptimized game jam games I've ever made haha. The sprites are a total mess from me just hand drawing in whatever size felt good atm, and a mix of way too much happening every frame. But we just ran out of time to clean that all up (: Hopefully no machines explode from the power of the bees

2026-04-22 21:37

the game is very cute! the art style and audio are amazing! you did a great job! I just wish it was a bit more connected to the theme :)

papaver 2026-04-22 22:55

So cute and colorful! It's very fun that I could change the color of almost everything in the shop

At first I didn't find the first mini-game. Apparently I discarded the text balloons of these bees as not important, haha. The second mini game I only found much later even. They are cute mini games, but the honey collecting is not very challenging, and sometimes I only had to collect 6, because maybe the new ones spawned right under me? I liked the path following better (maybe that is where this game connects to the theme?). Sometimes tough, I ended up at the goal without wanting to, because the designated path was too close to it.

In sidebar show, the arrows to change between tabs are very small. Also, I would have liked to be able to put more pots or flowers down at the same time, especially when I just bought a new table. Now I have to back to the shop every time.

Nice selection of music for the game! Very chillll. And I really like the colorful art

As you mentioned above, sometimes the game freezes, but luckily it remembers my progress after refreshing   I played your game for quite long, like an hour or so!

Congrats on your great entry

kanity 2026-04-23 10:41

Wow, you might not call yourself an artist, but you sure are one! Your drawings are great, technically correct, cute, and you have a consistent style; colour palette is hamonious, everything is clear and tidy. Ofc it's always good to strive for more but you can be very proud of your art! The game caught my eye initially because of it - because it looks cute and inviting.

It's also worth noting just how much you guys have managed to do in just three days. A whole shop management game, to be honest! Complete with shop customization and decoration?? Several types of flowers... AND mini-games? That's impressive!

Mini-games were a bit of a learning curve (the path specifically) but I got adjusted soon and they are not too hard or complicated or anything. The bee path is always different, which keeps it fresh, and the honey collecting is nice and easy :3

It's an adorable cozy game with clicker and light management elements, and honestly with some more polish and work could be sold on Steam as a chill game for cozy community! <3

nkvz 2026-04-23 13:53

wow. so hard for 3 day.

goodwayman 2026-04-23 14:15

The most beautiful game I've seen on this jam! I got really sucked into it! Really well done! It's so polished that I'm basically speechless. More games like this please!

caer 2026-04-23 15:29

This is such a polished, cute, and fun game! Although I struggled to find its connection to the theme, I really enjoyed playing it. Well done.

soul-grinder 2026-04-23 16:02

Really well made and relaxing idle clicker game with some nice minigames for variety! These are the types of games I lose many hours to  Top marks, good work guys!

blues 2026-04-23 19:01

wow there is so much going on in this game! i was a little overwhelmed at first and could not figure out how to get new flowers, but i eventually figured it out. the UI is very well done but theres so many options it was hard to find everything, maybe slowly unlocking the upgrades would help?

but over all very impressed by the amount of features in the game like being able to color the walls/floor. adore the cute bees :3

braktheman 2026-04-24 06:16

Very impressive how much you crammed in here in such a short time. Fun idler. Played it until my computer just couldn't handle the bee swarms anymore (after about an hour of progress)!

Great job, team!

matt2728 2026-04-24 12:28

Nice cozy game :)

railnof 2026-04-24 14:21

It was really fun, i think it take 1 hour of my time without knowing it. This was a good time !

bumble 2026-04-25 20:00

When I read the text about not being harsh about the somewhat janky art I didn't know what to expect from the game, because all the art on the page looked really cute. Then I started the game and it was exactly like the art on the page  Don't be so harsh on yourself!

Really cozy and incredibly polished experience!

2026-04-26 16:25

A perfect cozy game, the type that I like the most, the art is of another world, the whole gameplay catches you in seconds, nice job!

euler-moises 2026-04-27 02:53

How cute!

It really turned out to be a very well-made game. I can't even imagine the work that went into it. Unlike many games in this style, the rewards are generous, and we can level up and upgrade quickly. This helps with the feeling that we're doing well.

And really, the art is improving a lot!

Congratulations to the team!

sbeif 2026-04-27 12:16

Very cool game, very polished. It might improve with some balancing as most plants made enough money that I was able to sell them all and replace as soon as a new one was unlokced. Also Mrs.Bee kept telling me that I could enable auto harvest but I couldn't find it, only to figure out after like 20 minutes that there were arrows to reach the other parts of the shop. Very impressed with the artwork, game design (you also managed to add minigames) and polish. Maybe the theme is a bit thin as I feel it applies mostly to one of the minigames

anete-ainjarv 2026-04-28 21:33

Miss Hive is so cute oh my goodness!!! I really enjoy cozy games like this and the atmosphere was just wonderful. Took me some time to get proficient at the minigames but it was smooth sailing after that. It's very well polished for a jam game. Good job team! c:

lereveur 2026-04-29 23:37

So cute and polished, as each LD! I spent way much time on this entry than I expected - but I can't help with this kind of game… Well, at least I found all the plants and made millions, and those bees are so cuuut… *hem* What I was saying…? Oh, yes. Good job!

alexandr-gerya 2026-05-04 23:23

absolutely in love with the cozy vibes! being able to paint the walls and floor was such a sweet surprise. i spent way more time decorating than i’d like to admit lol

sarah 2026-05-08 15:54

FIRST OFF, thank you so much for all the kinds words everyone. Especially about my art, I was SO NERVOUS about showing it all but the kind comments have really given me some confidence in myself now, so thank you so so much!

And for everyone who played for a while, that means so much to hear!! We really appreciate all the time spent! (:

@quitewavy @caer My theme connection was initially that bees use bee signals to find flowers (like the minigame) and then it sorta morphed into a whole new, bigger game idea!

@papaver Due to spending so much time on making the shop paintable, the minigames suffered a little and didn't get as much love, so they were simple and meant to be really easy (:

@kanity Thanks for the kind words <3 We put our full 100% effort all weekend into this game, I've only just felt recovered this past week!

@goodwayman Thanks a lot! I love how your plant shop turned out (:

@blues I actually meant to get some unlocking of upgrades added in but it completely slipped my mind until...now!

@braktheman I wish I was able to optimize (at all) but time constraints meant every little bee is gonna eat up memory haha, totally worth it for the beees

@bumble Thank you so much!

@euler-moises This is probably our biggest and most polished Ludum Dare entry yet! Thanks for playing (:

@sbeif Balancing for the game jam meant we made everything very quick, just so if someone wanted to play for only 5-10 minutes they could still get a feel for progression and unlocking some things (: I also struggled with the store design so expanding it was necessary at times but mostly it worked collapsed to the side! And the theme did end up being very loosely applied because the minigame WAS the game inititally.

But after thinking about the idea and having bee signals to unlock flowers felt great but that made me want to build a whole plant shop and thus the theme got a bit lost in translation. In the end we just loved the idea and direction of the game so much, we let the theme take the hit (:

@anete-ainjarv I stayed up until 5am+ to finish MsBeeHive after working all day and she was 10000% worth the effort! I wasn't even sure she would be on screen much so after spending so many hours drawing her, she became the main mascot (:

@lereveur The bees miss you..That's what they said anyway! Thanks for playing!!

@alexandr-gerya I'm so glad you spent some time decorating! It was an unplanned extra idea near the end of the jam and I'm very glad I went for it (:

@nkvz @soul-grinder @matt2728 @railnof @hhch Thanks for playing!

And to anyone else who rated or played the game, thanks for trying it out. And HAVE A GREAT TIME UNTIL NEXT LUDUM DARE!

2026-05-08 17:30

This is an incredibly charming and polished experience that stands out for its wonderful atmosphere. The art style is absolutely adorable, making every moment spent in the game feel cozy and inviting. I really enjoyed the unique gameplay loop. Great game!

prakkus 2026-05-08 19:10

So good! I'm always impressed by how well simple mechanics like 'guide the bee' work for jam games like this. I end up tempted to add all this core complexity but then I play games like this and learn a ton about how to layer on top of simple execution to keep things engaging.

Tons of other stuff to praise here...I can't believe how much you got in! Coloring? All the different kinds of pots? A real, guided tutorial! Just stellar work.

icebell 2026-05-08 22:24

soooooo cute, I really enjoyed this!

sarah 2026-05-09 05:21

@prakkus It's all about adding small things and when it all comes together it feels like a full experience!

@nuclme @icebell

Thanks so much for playing!
