Good job! The hand made animations are really good too
Good work! I like the drawn artwork!
Good game. Really. I liked it. Simple, but interesting. Nice job.
Pretty funny writing, I had a good time. The combat system was interesting, with a good risk/reward element. Some kind of history element to see the last few lines of dialogue would be a nice addition. Good job!
This is a fun little old-school text adventure. I would love to play more of it.
Nice game ! Really like the humor and comments as boomers and anti home office from the mad employees ! Too bad there wasn't a ambiance music to go with that.
Good job !
I liked the text adventure. The combat was a bit hard. It felt like I was getting good rolls, but it wasn't enough.
"Let's get the hell out of here." Ha Ha Ha! Fun Adventure!
A fun little text adventure game. I wish there was a soundtrack, but the hand drawn art is really good.
FUn, I liked the animation. I would hit the manager again.
This was pretty funny. I loved failing the interview and having the choice between bribing with pizza or fighting.
Keeps you at the edge of a seat, I liked little foreshadowing about becoming the CEO, cool combat feature with some sprinkle of complexity when you try to get three of the same number. At the end screen I clicked about 300 times wishing for an easter egg, kinda shame that there was none. :( Or I wasn't patient enough?
I liked the story, but F Goober Eats.
Well thought out adventure game, the combat mechanics were excellent - although some of my re-rolls seemed a bit suspicious as they didn't change but I'll blame RNG  would love to see a more fleshed-out version with sound!
I liked the story's goofy vibe, and the combat reminded me a bit of Dicey Dungeons. I think this game could benefit from audio and a couple images during the conversation moments.
I had also thought of a text game. But I must honestly say, a few pictures could not hurt.
This was fun! I liked that I could try to talk my way out of the combat, it was fun trying to figure out which dialogue choices would get them to leave me alone. I only had one combat encounter with the interview lady. It took me a bit to get a handle on how to effectively use the dice manipulation to win, so I narrowly lost. But it seems that I could cheat and take another turn and win haha. The writing was also very funny. Well done! :)
Funny dialog. I thought it was just a text game until the first fight. I liked the combat. It was simple but still required some strategy. Good job.
Look at me. I am the CEO now.
Thanks for the helpful feedback everyone! Some good notes that I'll definitely bear in mind if I do end up making a larger text adventure game.
@indigoninja Dicey Dungeons was definitely an inspiration, good catch! I'd like to add more variety and depth to the combat in a future version.
@bartekde unfortunately you needed to click 301 times for the easter egg so you missed it :( (jk)
The writing is clean and captivating because it talks about relatable things and includes fun jokes. It also provides social commentary on today’s society. I was hoping to find some easter eggs, but I wasn’t sure where to look.
the text andventuer game was great only that the background was not black is just stupid i had wished that you could set it to black and change the sparche of the text but all in all it was very entertaining
I appreciate the developer's attention to detail in the graphics, as even small visual elements contribute to the overall charm and appeal of the game
