Interesting idea! I would add different actions. I did not quickly understood the effect of the different colours of the news. Maybe you could add an icon representing the "topic" of the news!
Ok! Got in thanks to crtl-F too. The last one was definitely tricky. Liked the enhance filter joke.
Incredible game for the time allowed. Beautiful graphics and good camera transitions. Polished! Well done!
I enjoyed the visual style of the game, its different and feels well thought and polished. Likewise the controls felt good!
The writing is clean and captivating because it talks about relatable things and includes fun jokes. It also provides social commentary on today’s society. I was hoping to find some easter eggs, but I wasn’t sure where to look.
@ylaxus Thanks, I'm grateful for your review. In retrospect, I think I made a mistake making that kind of "bad UI" joke. I will take that in consideration for the next jam!
@mkraw Maybe you are blocked at the "chose destination". Try to click on labels (text) behind the popup.
@big-cow thanks for your feedback! You make valid points! I will definitely have to remember them for the next jam. Having checkpoints would definitely help the experience.
@iqoribou Thank you for your feedback! When 3 soap bubbles touch the truck, it disrupts the delivery. I definitely understand your point, I should have added visual feedback indicating the deterioration of the truck/package!
@quoc Hi! Are you playing on Desktop or Mobile? I didn't test it on mobile. I'm using Godot 4.0
@quoc It seems to me it is an error with the HTML5 exporter of Godot 4.0. I was not aware of this. Thanks! PS: I can't provide a solution at the moment. If you can try on another operating system, it may work! (I tested on Windows 10 and Edge/Chrome)
@reed-molbak it was an intended "bad UI" joke that I'm not proud of 😅 The solution is to click behind the popup, in the country you selected label.
For the joke: my package was not sent to my country but to another one, that had a similar city name.
@thunnus Thank you! It's a pleasure for me to hear you found my game interesting to share to your team!
I think you need to make it fun for people to try and guess what the symbols mean. I had no problem because I am a programmer, but I see why other people would have a difficult time. Overall, it's a nice project and a great idea. Good job!
I enjoyed the idea of delivering letters to make words! It’s an innovative idea! The controls could be improved by providing visual feedback when dragging on an incorrect word. When dragging over an incorrect word, the cursor automatically detects the incorrect word and prevents me from finishing the dragging action.
Nice game! Entertaining concept. With a little polish in animations and graphics (maybe make it more colourful) it could definitely find an audience. Great job!
Wolfs have funny jiggly animations! The graphics are shiny ^^ Since it's Godot a web export would have been nice. And the environment is well built. It feels wild and natural with a lot of randomness, like in nature!
The game and the controls feel smooth. I enjoyed attention to detail for the jokes! I didn't know Construct was capable of making 3D games. It reminded me of Crazy Taxi! It's a Crazy Delivery ^^ Good job!
Fun and clever mechanic, easy to learn!
Definitely fun take on the theme. I laughed (inside my head) at the ennemies glitching collisions.
@trakina I thought it was intended, because it was funny! So maybe a fix isn't necessary ^^
The controls are snappy. The gameplay mechanic fits the theme perfectly and is quite original. I liked the simplicity.
If I wanted to continue the game, I would perhaps add obstacles and more details to the environment. Like changing from a rural area to a suburb to a city.
The mood is interesting, the game feels cohesive. A bit difficult to play because of the collisions. What engine did you use? I liked that the game loaded quickly!
The mechanic feels good, is polished and you can get very accurate with it. The music makes this game relaxing and encourages the player to experiment things. (The machine-guns not so much relaxing ^^)
I enjoyed the controls and the game felt responsive! But maybe the web version made the controls difficult to use for me. The difficulty of the game for me was the timing of the exploding traps and the friendly fire (the tank would hit itself). The visuals are clean and so it is easy to visualise the action. I think I got to the end but I did not get an ending ^^
I would love to get to the end but the monster always catches me. I'm not too good with the sound cues. Other than that, what kept me wanting to try to get to the end was the mood, the sound and the graphics that are definitely very cohesive.
PS: I got to the end. Worth it! (But a small problem with the camera that got off centred because I waited too much in the final cutscene.
