The gameplay idea is good but the game really need a fast forward button because it has loooonnnng waiting time.

In level 6 I let the game running for 200+ seconds before I lost. I don't even know if I'm supposed to be able to win here (I though it was about surviving as long as possible).

@thetatautau Thank you for playing ond the feedback. I agree with you, we ran out of time so the balancing fell short. The fast forward button is a great idea, i added it to the todo for when we revisit the project.

Yes the last level can not be won, you can only survive as long as possible

Slime molds are cool, and I think the puzzle mechanics have great potential.

The idea is unique and it works. I played other submitted games and almost always there is a weak part of the game, mostly the tutorial and controls part, which you managed to do. I easily understood what to do and how, so congrats on that, the thing you are missing is the graphics I think. (and yes, it has a long waiting time)

@weine, @laszlotimar thank you for playing and the feedback. Jep, graphics are definitely not our strong point, but we were able to test some new stuff. This howerver left us with not time to do any optimization and to few levels 🙈

Unusual concept. I liked that!

Some feedback: 1. Game needs a restart level button, sometimes I wanted to restart the level to try something else, but the only way to do that was waiting to lose. 2. Fast forward button please. The concept is original, but sometimes it felt like I am literally watching the ~~grass~~ mold grow. 3. Final level was interesting, but it would be nice if there was some kind of limit to how long I should survive, otherwise it's a bit anticlimactic, since I click only two times and now I am just waiting to loose.

Other than that, great game! Keep doing creative ideas!

Cool idea, but there should be a restart level button and I would've loved some camera movement options so I can see whats going on behind walls etcc.

@mnemosynevl @retrific @anaastaska Thank you all for playing and providing feedback. I totally agree about the restart button; we implemented the functionality for when you lose, but somehow we didn't think about adding it to the screen.

@balimaarthebassfish Did you try restarting the game? I had it also once after we uploaded a new version to itch, but I was never able to reproduce it since.

It is so pity when you dying and can't restart level and have to start from the beginning. Idea of speading puzzles sounds intresting, but lack of timing, tooooo long.

I love the whole "cellular automata" concept, but I'm not such a huge fan of how little actual *game* there is. None of the levels require more than a couple of clicks in an obvious place to solve, and the final level is purely a timesink, unless you consciously ignore the instructions and let the red slime mold through on purpose.

@custodi @ryusui Thank you for playing and providing feedback. Yes, the restart button is a huge oversight and we didn't get to make enough levels. The ones in the game are mostly for explaining how the game works and are not much of a puzzle themselves. We will upload soonish an updated version with improvements and new levels

The concept of this is intriguing and pretty original for this Jam's theme but there definitely needs some expansion. Many of the puzzles do not feel like the player engages enough to feel like they are meaningfully influencing the puzzles. There is some good brain puzzles here for sure, but there is a desire to have it be a more engaging experience and this definitely has that potential.

@donamougou Try refreshing the browser. Sometimes it appears that the level fails to load, but I haven't been able to consistently reproduce the issue or determine the cause.
