In general it's pretty difficult to tell which buildings you're supposed to be delivering to. The map is quite small and the movement is really sluggish which makes it pretty annoying to get from one place to another. I do like the concept though, and the fact you managed to create a whole progression system and upgrades in such a short amount of time is no easy feat. Keep working and you'll improve in no time!

There's quite a number of problems, the game is fun first and foremost, but there a lot of elements that stop me from wanting to finish it, the music doesnt loop seamlessly so its very jarring to hear the main motif on repeat like that, the bike seems to get slowed down by grass which is fine, but it seems to have an odd hitbox making it difficult to not get slowed down, even when you're on the road. Lastly, I think throw a newspaper should be on click not space, since you aim the newspaper with your cursor, it feels more natural to click rather than press space. Besides for those things the game isn't bad at all, the movement seems fairly decent and the art theming is all very consistent.
movement is a bit slow, the mini map is a nice touch it's the best way to find the houses you have to go to, I found myself looking at that though more than the main screen.

Really good work!
Had an interesting bug (on linux), where I couldn't see the text at the menu, nor at the shop!
Despite that, it was an enjoyable experience! It was kind of funny. Riding over the houses was great. Could have done with a longer music loop, though! But I really think the art is perfect. Not bad :)

I like the leveling up system. People have said the movement is to slow but I disagree as you can level it up. Would love a bit more polish on the artwork but it played very well. Great submission!
As you don't have an online version of your game and it requires to download it, you really should add images to improve your visibility and to make people want to play your game !
I spent a fair while on this just chilling after I saw your post on the main feed. To be honest I think you're being overly harsh about your game.
There is one issue I encountered which is negative progress wherein correctly delivering a paper will instead give you a penalty that can multiply. I think this is because instead of papers being destroyed on collision with a house marked for delivery, it lingers and slides or pings off houses so when a delivery house reverts to a normal house or pings off, it then collides again and incurs a penalty which seems to scale. That's more an issue if you play for longer though and something I think is fixable.
The game itself was pretty fun. I think it needs to start off with more houses available and I think the scaling for upgrades needs to increase in cost less but multiply in effect per level to encourage upgrading but what's there works well. The minimap was small but appreciated, the highlights on the houses were very clear and it was a nice touch having the grass slow you down to encourage using the roads.
Having an upgrade system was great and encouraged playing just a bit longer to get the next one and over time I figured out which upgrades I wanted to focus on and which ones I wanted to ignore so it lets you play in your own style. I would love to see an off road upgrade! A very simple concept that was mostly executed well imo! Nicely done!

The music is perhaps not the best, and the graphics could have been better. But the idea is fun, and I did had fun playing the game. Overall I will say this is a pretty good jam game.
Definitely needs more polish (particularly in terms of art/music), but this is a good start to a game at least. I like the upgrading system. I think there should be some sort of hazard or fail state to keep things interesting---maybe something to avoid while moving around?
You've got a good foundation for a *Paperboy*-like game. Definitely need to do something with the music, because it's a bit annoying. The minimap was a bit too small to really be useful; consider changing your UI canvas to "scales with screen size". Good work.
