The art style definitely makes me think a bit about Lethal Company, and you did a wonderful job on the scary part. Unfortunately the mood is so well done that I could not play for long ! Almost had a few heart attacks !
Oh my gosh, buddy, how did you pull off such an amazing game in so little time? I'm head over heels for your art style – it must have taken a ton of effort, huh?
I couldn't find the noose either. The vague shadowy human forms blending in and out of the fog were genuinely scary, well done!
Very moody horror game. That was legitimately creepy.
This is was a very immersive experience, the forest "puzzle" was really trippy. I appreciated the path that circles the forest after that part as I was lost. Some good world design there.
I did have to restart once because I walked off the dock and fell into the void, and once I got the metal noose and stepped outside, not sure where to go, I went back to the boathouse and I couldn't leave till I interacted with the table. Upon interacting I got the mask again and was able to leave, once outside the game crashed.
Thank you @reaxt! The wall will actually tell you where to go if you find the other item and get stuck on the "noose".
@laniph thanks for playing! For what it's worth, the game wasn't designed to be unplayably scary or full of jumpscares. If you find yourself wanting to go back in, it's not likely to scare you unless you let it.
@drgcandle thanks! We are really proud of how the game looks. Yeah it was a lot of work to get that look in under 72hrs lol
@captainspacecat thank you!
@mactinite thanks for playing and letting us know about the crash, we will investigate.
i love the art style of this game, and you really build up a nice atmosphere with the sound design, and the fading ghost things. When i saw them at first i wasn't sure they were actually there, and it made everthing that much creepier. I did find some of the camera wobble to be way too much at times, to the point where i could barely see anything and it would stay like that for a few minutes, kinda felt like a bug but idk. But even with that this was a great experience
@marju thank you! The camera wobble is supposed to minorly increase when closer to the ghosts and stuff, we will investigate if there is a bug.
It is a very unusual and atmospheric game, the visual is quite interesting, it looks stylish and restrained! Good luck with your project, I would have played it more than once!!!
I can not get myself to play horror games for long so i didn't even try to finish it. However, I liked the graphics and the ambiance. There is solid potential... I guess, I would never play a full version lol. Really good job !
Impressive graphics and audio! Well-designed atomsphere!
Fantastic style and atmosphere. Very creepy. I couldn't find the noose either, and didn't realize I should talk to the wall again. The icon changing when you find the axe was a nice touch.
The 4:3 aspect ratio

I stopped before the end because I was getting a bit of motion sickness (which I get from a lot of very normal 3D games, so I don't think it's a problem with your game) so I'm wondering if you have any videos or streams that you know beat it so I can see where it goes. Thanks!
The Aesthetic/Mood is on point, love the CRT filter + some noise!
Cool! Truly immersive and spooky. However, I struggled with finding the noose and figuring out where to go next. Perhaps a few subtle clues could help guide players? Also, the camera effects, while immersive, were quite intense. Maybe consider toning them down a bit? Great job overall on creating a spooky vibe!
The mood and the art style are great! Really love the CRT filter and that screen distortion really creeped me out at first
I found the noose, but alas the last one was too difficult for me, the atmosphere was perfect, I had shivers down my spine, it's a shame that the last stage was so well hidden for me! keep up the good work and thanks again for the experience!
Can't play this because of platform but the trailer and screenshots look gorgeous. Given you a high score for graphics and mood. Wanted to give points for humour because I saw that mouse cursor hand with a missing finger, but I guess in conext that's not supposed to be funny.
Gameplay is simple but its works very well for the game, but the best part of the game is sound and graphics, i enjoy it so much i played it 2 times already
SPOILER WARNING: Absolutely love the atmosphere or that the interact icon loses a finger. Sadly the game crashed on me after finding the face, I was unable to interact with the wall or lady anymore. Really great experience otherwise!
briliant esthetics~ lovely game. the cursor switch was loovely. but when placing a lil face down I could no longer interact and got nothing,.. not sure waht the noose was tho, but it was really really well done!
@the4thcircle what platform are you on? MacOS? I can put out a build for you this afternoon!
Interesting game and art style! The wobble was waaay too much, and I felt like I got inconsistent feedback with it.
really Impressive mood and visual, it works very well, love the VHS effect and the soundscape! I found the mask but couldn't find the noose. I like how you can feel the ghost creeping on you behind your back, I found out how to makes it appear and I saw the hand icon 3 times on the ghost, so I think it's possible to catch it, but I couldn't do it. I think one of the downside of hard puzzles in horror game is that you start to see it as a mechanic to understand (here the ghost) and it stops being scary as it starts being predictable, I had the same experience with P.T. Anyway, great game, thanks for making it, I hope to catch a video with the whole playthrough at some point!
@shaner421 specifically Macos with M1 silicon. Even most mac builds haven't run for me this year  Plenty of web builds to keep me busy though.
Loved the graphics and the sound design. I played it for 30 minutes but couldn't find neither the noose nor the heart :(
Hi @andriybyelikov, there’s a walk through on the itch.io page if you get stuck. Thanks so much for playing, sorry it wasn’t clear where to go!
The visuals and overall mood was on point! I was stuck in the boathouse where after taking the item from their to the first house and interacting with the body, when I go back to the boathouse I was able to take the same item again, not sure if this was a bug?
Great entry overall!
Creepy atmosphere and intriguing post-processing work. The bitten finger on the icon was really amusing. Great job, enjoyed playing!
A good horror game that makes you flinch at every rustle. But I managed to fall off the map :D
Nice aesthetics the game looked good and it had a spooky atmosphere. However it was not super clear where to go and what to do. Even with the written playthrough, I could not finish the game I was unable to grab the item from the stalker he would not spawn or go near me.
Really good graphics and atmosphere in this one! Just overall really creepy, great PSX style graphics with some modern touches. The stereo sound effect footsteps messed with me hah.
I had a weird issue where alt-tabbing in and out of the game disabled the mouse except for when it was clicked... maybe a Godot thing or maybe just my computer? Sadly stopped playing after but will return to it without alt-tabbing.
Amazing game mood! I loved the aesthetics, the graphics, and how the audio was used to create tension—especially with that ghost chasing you as you move. The 4:3 aspect ratio and the effect of being recorded like an '80s camera add many fine details that make this game excellent. Sometimes, it might be confusing to know what to do next. Aside from this, I extend my sincerest congratulations to the entire team because it truly seems like an incredible game. Spectacular game!
