Took me a while to understand how to actually interact with the game, even with the F1 game help

Such great aesthetic! Congratulations on the work well done. I finished it up without any hints (super proud haha) and loved the "thank you"s by the end, super cute
My fave game of the whole jam. Superb art, amazingly polished, good story telling without a proper narrative, I love it
The Aesthetic/Mood is on point, love the CRT filter + some noise!
It is a cool mechanic, I believe it would do well integrated as a system in part of a bigger game. The typing part was interesting, would be fun to try and implement it as mic capture, so you would have to light the candles and then say the words out loud.
Overall great idea, congrats!
Guess I need to work harder on my vocabulary haha, it was really hard for me to make the ritual work, but an amazing submission any way. Congratulations!
I had a fun time playing the game, got up until I unlocked the Pearl "recipe", the only negative feedback I have is a pretty common one on simple 3D movement, you easily cheese the speed by walking in diagonal, I imagine this means your velocity is added and never capped.
Great submission!
First place lets go! Amazing level of polish, music is great, mechanic is fun. Its like a social Guitar Hero haha, congratulations on the submission

I can see a lot of care went into it, its really polished, from the animated start menu to the screen transitions. As other people mentioned, gameplay was a bit confusing at first, but that is something that can be easily adjusted for the future if you decide to progress with the game.
All and all a nice project, congratulations!
One of the highest ratings. Pixel art is just superb, all mini games are cool, everything well presented. Congratulations
Altough its not really my type of game, I really liked the animations and the cartoon style illustration, well done!
So much fun, I wish I could play it on a drawing display, could be an amazing game for iPad for example. Really well polished and overall fun experience, thank you and congratulations!
Spent more time than I should try to figure out the best strats haha, my end was:
Use the dog like thingy to try to group the villagers, than lighting bolt + ghost and use cyclops to close in those who run
Great polish, for a jam entry. I had a hard time figuring out how to close the weapon selection menu after opening it, but other than that, fun game!
really cool 1bit style, interesting gameplay idea, I almost felt like I was playing something for a second haha
Simple, but well executed! I need to create one of those sometime, love the clicker games
Well rounded up game! Quite polished. I am a big fan of isometric strategic turn based game, so you got me from the start
the graphics were what I enjoyed the most, and there is quite a lot of them. Well polished game, congrats on making it in 72 hours
My first 5/5 of the Jam, amazing graphics, cool unique mechanic, great music, cool replayability, theme integration. Amazing work, really. The pixel effect over 3D art worked great, being able to """"craft"""" my perfect boss was fun and when I summoned one with all slots filled, I died in like 5 secs haha, expected
Well done on the presentation, the art and music are great and work well together. I am glad there was a test level, because the tutorial did not explain the main interactions very well. Really well put result, the first real puzzle (after the elements) really got me thinking until I reached a solution
I can see this game has a lot of potential, the painterly feeling of the aesthetic was nice and the music fits well. But I have to say having the character not animated and the quite "floaty" controller made me not enjoy it as much as it deserved
Reminded me of Winter Maul Wars back in the WC3 Battle.net days. Cool game, wish there was time to polish it a bit further
@ulziton @rokadoka @daeron @fenix131113 @dywanix @roman-dubrovin @justin-pena @igorekkedziorek Thank you for the kind words!
@archaeognathus Appreciate the complete feedback! We realised this as well sometime along the developing process and thought of it more like an accidental feature, as you said haha, it creates a cool area if you have the laser or mines powerup
@kallico @spica Yeah haha, after sending it over to some friends we realized that the boss might be too hard/have too high HP, it always hard to balance it when you are the developer, thanks for the feedback!
@flaterectomy Thats the kind of feedback that warms our hearts, thank you! It is nice to know that you figured stuff out yourself during the playing time and was able to beat it at the end, congrats!
@indiemaniac Thanks for the feedback! We need to add an option to make it static, for sure
@katamary @landerack @eveee-cx @thegreatcarpet @macibacsi56 thanks for the kind words you all!
We agree balance was not 100% there. We tried to keep it good until the end, but some last minute decisions made it a bit too hard haha, but yeah, game jam stuff. Overall we are pleased with the result, thanks!
@jhax as the artist myself, thank you very much! Regarding the feedback, we definitely agree, we also wanted to add small healthbar above enemies heads once they would have been hit, at the end we did not had time, but it was fun nonetheless
Thank you @d0vid !
For you @oznarox, we hoped the tutorial would be enough haha, but basically the idea is to collect monster parts and trade them on the shrines for attack upgrades/new attacks. Once you feel you are powerfull enough, you can go to the top of the map and kill the Anaconda boss
Appreciate the kind words @MoebiusMeow
Hey @nadia-pixel, we appreciate the feedback! In case you want to give it another try, the game has a "Vampire Survivor" style of combat, where the attacks are made automatically and you must mainly focus on avoid enemy attacks. By just staing close the main weapon will shoot at enemies, other weapons include dropped bombs, laser, pulsing shield and so on :)
Hey @andriybyelikov thanks for the feedback, we feel like we've lost ourselves a bit on the balance, the beggining of the run can be brutal indeed, if we decide to proceed with the project, for sure we would have better balance and maybe even dificculty options!
@goldenmagnus We appreciate the kind words <3, right now we are working further on the game, but not decided yet if will commit to it as a full project, who knows...
@emaigualmc2-art @digital-bacon thank you two very much!
Hey @constance, we appreciate the detailed feedback, it really means a lot. We already have a quite generous Coyote Time implemented, alongside some input buffering as well. But I believe I know what is the feeling you are describing and it will be checked :)
We have a new version actually ready and waiting for the voting to finish to be posted, we hope you find some time to play it and see if it improve on most of the points made
Interesting idea, but I had quite a few problems with the rats pathfinding, they would get stuck behind houses or down right become highlighted and start running away from me haha
Funny idea, well executed. Simple but well made, specially the zoom effect and stamps. Congratz!
