Great atmosphere/mood. I kind of wish you could pick up multiple items at once, but it's not that annoying. At the end, the screen just goes black and the music cuts out, which led me to wait for a bit because I wasn't sure it was over. A simple end message might be nice. Other than that, very interesting and unique.

Nice work, especially since it's done by just one person! Well done, the theme matches well.

Love how all the actions were so intuitive, simple but great graphics and love how funny the character run animation is.

I didn't get what I expected going into this, and I loved that about it. The gradual changes in the room as the instructions were followed was great too. The mood for me really shifted after the instructions were carried out, and the only wish that I have from it is that I wanted more of it. Besides from that, more puzzles to find the ingredients would have been nice, but understandable given the time limitations. Be proud of what you made!

i love the vibe and the dialogue at the end !! really intriguing. also the art is good :)

shyoko-ghost 2024-04-16 21:07

Only using minimalist graphics, but creating a very strong atmosphere. I love this game

aviv-levy 2024-04-17 10:04

That was trippy. Loved it :)

I wish it could be a bit longer. I liked completing the ritual and maybe there could be more depth to that. The ending was a very nice addition.

cats-in-jackets 2024-04-17 10:59

In my browser game refuses to load :(

h1de0 2024-04-17 11:08

This game is so cool. I love that the music is progressivly stressing you out.

Maybe a game over screen could help to understand that it's the end.

I believe that you use godot for it ? So are we.

Perfect scope for a jam game! I loved the Minit-esque art, it was easy and intuitive, and the art at the end RULED did you make that pixel typeface yourself? What engine did you make your game in? Good work, really liked this. ALSO I thought the thing next to the grave was a ham for a long time before I realized it was flowers, lolol.

fataljg 2024-04-17 11:49

intuitive and atmospheric game, loved it

yxure 2024-04-19 13:46

@cats-in-jackets what browser are you using? i've tried in chrome and firefox and in both the game worked.

@h1de0 Yeah, I use Godot. Best engine :D.

@kristinamay Nope, I use a free font called Alagard. And the game is made in Godot.

Interesting game. Love the graphical style. Seemed to end abruptly, though. Not sure if that's intentional or just the game crashing inside the browser (Chrome). Excellent work!

uniowl 2024-04-20 16:12

I very liked minimalistic approach to this pixel art which with the addition to some effects (smoke, color changing and creature swinging) makes the game overall very atmospheric. After the talk with "it?" screen went completely black and I'm not sure if this is intentional or not? Bell sounds also amazing. Unlike many other entries this one teached me not with text and it was very intuitive. Thanks very much!

Amazing atmosphere and poignant ending. The psychedelic visuals and the music at the end reminded me of David Lynch a lot. Like others said I do wish that the items were scattered about a bit more so that it felt more like a scavenger hunt and less ferrying items from your shed. The art was really effective

One of the candles refused to light so I didn't know what to do, tried to put it near another candles but it didn't work for me. But anyway I like this game.

klemen 2024-04-20 19:08

The game story is amazing artstyle reminds me of Undertale and I like the multiple endings concept you've included, overall an amazing game, I liked it a lot and I just love that glitchy camera movement!

flying-butter-studio 2024-04-20 19:11

What an atmosphere! WAHOU! Love it! Thank you for this short but incredible experience  Realy love the final, great work, congrats!!

exofrenon 2024-04-20 19:14

Great vibes and atmosphere. I loved the minimal instructions and having to figure things out on my own. Quite polished also. The 1bit graphics were simple but got the point across. The ending cutscene was well done. Great effort for a solo project, but I wish there was more of it!

tetrergeru 2024-04-20 19:32

Great entry! Especially for a solo game.

Candle carrying felt a little repetative  but the ending is awesome

chispalbc 2024-04-20 20:16

Sometimes making an small but polished game is better than trying too hard. Great job, really liked. Even has a little of storytelling(?

helicule 2024-04-20 20:21

Absolutely loved the experience! The graphics are so effective, I'm amazed at how you managed to create such an atmosphere with so little pixels!

sodoj 2024-04-25 15:16

I love this, it was a wonderful experience, loved how everything was becoming more and more intense as the game progressed. The only thing that I'd do different is to scatter the candles from the shed more and put them in more interesting locations. Well done!

yorsh 2024-04-25 23:26

Very neat little game! You managed to create a strong atmosphere with such simple graphics. The game feels complete and polished. It's not very ambitious but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It was fun to play, great job!

capreola 2024-04-28 11:36

Great work on creating a mood, this game certainly felt like a summoning! I liked how the atmosphere changes with each item, the sound design added to that really well. The ending made me curious! I wish it was a bit more clear the game ended, I wasn't sure if the black screen was the end or some sort of a glitch.
