The game is kinda irresponsive, I have to wait too long for the hero to take action (shooting, draining power). But I really like how you are introducing new mechanics one by one!

Fun game, but some levels have too tight walls and you cant jump if a cultist is next to you. But i gotta say love the concept of draining energy from enemies and then using them as platforms that was really fun.

Level design is great, teaching all mechanics one by one. I also like the pixel art, great job on that! The game does not feel very responsive, like Ray said. That is definitely something to improve next time!

wow, the movement is weird and it made the game a lot harder but overall is really fun. Also the character design is really cool and the music is catchy ^^ Nice job!

I liked the art very much here, this all is nicely stylized! The leveldesign is also nice, it reminded me of browser platformer games, actualy. :) Good tutorial also, and nice UI. Great entry, good job! :)

Goog idea and art! But controls and some parts of gameplay (like draining power from enemies) is not quite clear imho. For me it remains a mystery how you can suck energy from enemies, although the buttons used as in the instruction.

Two things that would've been better: 1-No acceleration when moving (static speed from the start) 2-instant scene loading on touching the door. Apart from this, a great entry, nice graphics and nice idea. Keep it up!

Great job on this game! I love the level design progression and how it shows you how to use the mechanics. I really enjoyed sapping power from enemies...

Graphics are really cool.

The music loop is way too short, making it frustrating.

Controls are ok but could "easily" be improved. A simple example would be to use a square hitbox for the player rather than a capsule, avoiding the player to slip from edges.

The mechanic is nice, however maybe over complicated. For example there is no real justification in the need to shoot an enemy before turning him into stone.

Overall a solid entry which could easily turn into a nice bigger game ;)

Enjoyable game. This ran out of power and time fits perfectly in your entry.

Graphics and animations are cool. I like a lot the run animation!

Music is basic but although the loop is short it doesn't feel repetitive.

Level design is good and it has a nice flow during the gameplay.

So, job well done :)

the art looks really nice and the music fits really well to. and the game was also really fun to play to. one thing to maybe improve it would be to explain the power from enemies a little better at the start, it took me quite a while to figure it out, maybe because im a little dumb. other than that it was a really good game. well done.

Controls are a bit unresponsive, but I really like the idea and the hero's design. With some polish this would be a kickass game.

ok very good

a few things :

restart could be automatic when you loose, as well as opening the door.

with the current ld, "killing" and "draining power" could be merged into a single action, unless I'm missing something.

I don't think using the mouse is the best choice (especially if you want to use arrows instead of WASD or are left-handed).

a timer might not necessary since the player is already "punished" for trivial actions such as jumping (which is interesting by the way).

I wasn't sure if some of the game's behaviors regarding jumping on statues or running over small gaps were glitches or by design.

There is a small delay on most actions and no immediate feedback which makes it uncomfortable to play (I sometimes was in a hurry and used too much energy because I thought the game didn't take my previous action into account).

I enjoyed this game a lot, I think the sliding of the character was a little frustrating but it also made it really satisfying when I nailed a level :) Keep it up! I would love to play more levels.
