The game is SO good, I have loved trying out all the weaopons you implemented. The graphics are so cool too, and it's very fun, I reached wave 8!
Fantastic Game! Art style is awesome and gameplay is delicate. Would be much better if more time is given to polish.

Fun game, it was a visually pleasing experience!
I really enjoyed this. It seemed like a very complete game and I really enjoyed planning the enemies path. I think it started way too hard and I had to restart a lot of times before I found a configuration of defences that allowed me to get past wave 2. Once I had done that though then it seemed pretty fair. It took me a long time to realise that I could upgrade turrets but I enjoyed the visual changes when they upgrades. I wish I could see what the upgrades were actually doing though. It would be cool if it told me 150% damage or +20% range or something like that. Also it would be funny if once you unlock all of the turrets, you could upgrade your bushes to deal damage to taunt enemies or something like that. My only negative was the sound effects. I turned the sound way down because I thought the sound effects were pretty annoying and didn't add much to the game. Oh also the UI was crazy polished. Great job guys! Screenshot.png

Super polished entry, Art was great a couple of minor UI bugs but great job. It would be nice to inspect the enemies as I could not figure out if the different types had different capabilities
Beautiful graphics, an interesting game combining BloonsTD and Plants versus Zombies, and additionally great mechanics with changing the route of opponents.

I reached wave 12! The game is hard! I love it! The strategies you can do with placing path blockers are almost infinite!

Awesome tower defense game! The start was pretty hard but then I got the hang of it and managed to get to wave 42 :)

Fantastic I just played this for the longest I have played any game this jam so far - I love the proc gen if you go back to the menu. Only thing I would add is a bestiary to understand enemies weaknesses etc

This is a polished entry that has nice graphics, sound, and solid gameplay. I enjoyed being tempted to conserve my seeds to buy the next cool plant for defense. A solid tower defense implementation.

Do the zombie really say "auvajs"? nice. I love tower defence games so I enjoyed it quite a bit. other than the art though I didn't see a big connection to the theme. But that is something we struggled with as well.

In the past few days, it seems like the game's been nerfed and it's now exceedingly hard to get past wave ~7, before I could get to level 40. (I noticed the price of poppies has increased by 40 seeds as well.) Is there a trick I'm missing?
Amazingly polished TD game! I really had fun with this one, and both the plants and enemies seem nicely balanced. I like the ability to start with a wall of shrubs and then slowly replace it with more powerful plants. Nice upgrade system for every plant type, too. Great music, great sound effects, and the graphics are really nice. Very impressive work for a weekend jam!

Wow what a fully fleshed out game! I'm impressed with the amount of plants and upgrades you managed to get in in such a short time. Can be pretty hard at the start. I had too little seeds to get a good start sometimes but then again I think that was mostly because the minigun seems to be bugged in some way so in my next run I didn't buy that and got to wave 212023-01-15 21_15_08-Window.png

We did some balancing changes (mentioned in the "Changes after submission" section) so the game is more approachable on start (no crazy first wave) and difficulty is increasing faster. It is still possible to get to higher waves though - current top is Wave 80 ;) Tip: It is all about making the route longer and plants fire effective. In higher waves heavy usage of Mushrooms to slow down fast enemies is a necessity. I hope this helps a little 💪
It seems to me without a doubt one of the best games of this edition of Ludum Dare! My trick at the beginning is not to spend in bush, but in canyons all the time, then if it is better to make a path of bushes. Everything is perfectly designed, good graphics and above all the increasing difficulty. At first I got a little involved without a tutorial, but after a while I already understood everything that results in a spectacular game design. Great game!
very well polished entry, and I love the flat UI scheme, it works really well for quite a minimalist but snazzy look. I found it a bit difficult, but tower defense games are not my strong suit. I started it expecting something like plants vs zombies, but what I found was much deeper, I haven't played a tower defense game before which involves trying to corral the enemies, but then again i havent played a lot of tower defense games. Anyway I loved this entry! well done!
