A pretty fun game. The enemies seemed to disappear sometimes (or maybe they walked into each other?). I think it would be better if you could choose abilities with keyboard using number keys, for example.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD42 → BOMBER WONDER

Loved the art. The gameplay was fun but I think hotkeys for the abilities would have definitely improved the experience.
Really cool game. I wished the enemies' movements were not so sporadic and random. Still, great game. It looks gorgeous.
Very interesting concept ! it's a really innovative game. Some ennemis are a little too difficult do avoid (the one that launch missiles). And sometimes more visual feedback would be grateful. It's cool to see that diversity of ennemis and level. The players abilities are good and useful.
that's a great Entry good job !
I loved your game, it was fun, the concept was intresting and the game in overall was cool ! Had a hard time switching between the abilities, while aiming, while dodging tho !
@lamossus @silvae Sorry about that, we were trying to balance out your ability to control the direction of your attack with some variety. Gonna be trying a new schem using the right mouse button for weapon change. Thanks for playing and commenting, glad you found it fun!
@trystan-sarrade @ashment @thejusticesong Thanks for the feedback. Ill try to add more feedback and smoother movement for both the player and the enemies in a post jam version, hopefully it will be less visually overwhelming. Thank you so much for playing!
Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good
The graphics style really appealed to me. It reminds me of the style of the Nitrome studio. If you don't know them check them out. You'll like them. The gameplay was fun. I always like those cooldown timers on abilities and the enemies all had different and challenging attacks. One suggestion i have is to also support other keyboard layouts. Maybe arrow keys. WASD is not always easy to play on keyboards other then qwerty. But otherwise a very fun game!
@supernapie Just being kept in mind when talking about Nitrome is a huge compliment, thank you! And thanks for the feedback, I'll make sure to keep that in mind for a post jam version.
Wow, I loved your game, the graphics are great, the mechanics is awesome! Congrats bro
just great, Period. fav entry so far
Great entry, really! I found it a bit unclear where the collision box of jetpack enemy is exactly, but still really had fun. Hope you get enough ratings, this is very polished!
Awesome game. I was pleasantly suprised with the overall mood of the game. Hope you develop a post jam version for this!
Cool Idea and really liked the art. Having to click the abilities instead of hotkeys hurts the experience I think. Making the enemies patterns more predictable would also help. And some of the enemy attacks were to quick for me to react properly. Multiplayer might also be interesting to see. Overall, great job!
We got a really similar idea to your so it was nice to play your game ! Graphics are great, a 1vs1 mode would also be really funny to play I think.
Sometimes it's hard to understand what is happening, ennemies seem being flying around or teleporting and it's hard to follow both your moves and the attack you must perform to defeat the opponents. But this is a good concept and a good realization overall !
One of my favorites in terms of game design this time around, very nice! Reminded me of Megaman Battle Network when I saw those screenshots, but played quite differently and I enjoyed it, finished all the levels. Honestly, you should just make it into a full game, you already have at least one person ready to play it. :D Just add more playable characters/abilities, enemies, tile types, polish some small details like visual/audio feedback and you've got a great game on your hands. Of course, the graphics and audio were also good. Well done!
my first perfect rating - this was a great game - very impressed
