I love this game so much!!!!! Especially the blood and guts LOL
Beautiful and extremely soothing! I love the environment and the simple interactions and progression through them! Looking forward to seeing more levels in the future :eyes:
Great work on making everything from scratch!! I had a good time playing, but this game is really hard! In the second level the water seems to clip through the shield and destroy the flame even if it's up, so I couldn't get past it. Might be a good idea to ramp up tutorial mechanics more gradually in separate levels rather than all at once? The tutorial text was much appreciated though!
Also having the levels timed while also teaching the player several new mechanics feels pretty punishing, could use a little more difficulty balance!
This game looks amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic!! I struggled with combat though, and I couldn't figure out how to move the way I wanted to because it seemed like I needed to tap on the move action twice to determine where I wanted to move?
Good concept, and I like the art!! The tutorials were helpful, but the A key doesn't work for movement, and I accidentally walked past the mana so I couldn't pick it up. The keys for spells were also not super intuitive. Great job finishing your second jam though!!
This game is so beautiful, I am in love!! The graphics are lovely, the music is soothing, and the tutorial sequence is really well thought out. The movement is a little cumbersome but it feels fitting for a small bee in a large world, which I like! Amazing job especially for a compo game!!
Really fun! Took me a while to figure out what to do, but I like the fact that the different body parts have different interactions!!
I love the concept of this game and the execution is really great!! It would've been nice to have something to do while waiting for a text, but this is amazing work for 72 hours! Looking forward to possibly seeing more someday!
This was pretty hard at first but I figured it out eventually! Sometimes it can be confusing to figure out where the trace goes if a few people are really close to each other. I really love the music, SFX, and the art style!! And I also appreciate that the number of AP you get per round increases over time. Not sure how long it would take to get to a lose condition though?
I think this is the first time I've ever run into a clicker during a game jam! I love clickers and this is super fun and cool! It would be extra cool to have more resources to gather aside from darkness. Still, I love this, and it feels super innovative to me! Also I'm hoping I've gathered enough darkness to conquer the world in the time it took me to write this comment! :)
Loved the slow, explorative feel of this game, and the music!! It took me a while to figure out what the UI at the top of the screen meant - for a bit I thought it was a Unity bug LOL - but I pieced it together once I'd gathered a couple of the objects! I also love the colours and the vibe, and the mechanics were simple to grasp!! Awesome job
I really loved this concept and the mechanics and wish there was more!! The gameplay felt nice and simple and responsive, and the first level was a great tutorial while the second had a really cool taste of some mechanics to come in the future maybe? :eyes: amazing job!!
I really enjoyed this game!! The art, the writing, and the gameplay were all super solid and tied together to create a super fun and unique experience. I also appreciate that it's not a game that requires prior chess knowledge, and that the player's possible moves are both tied into the writing and telegraphed on the board. The only things I would improve are somehow making the enemy moves more easily telegraphed as well, and creating a slightly clearer visual for the player's possible move (since the white pattern wasn't extremely obvious at first).
Really amazing job!!
Haha, what a fun concept! I really enjoyed piecing the corkboard together, and though it took me a while to figure out what I needed to do, that was definitely part of the fun. My only complaints would be that some of the popups showed up off-screen even in full screen mode, the credits were obscured by the game win popup, and Daffy Duck's sticky was hidden behind the "It all makes sense now" button so it wasn't immediately clear where it was, but even writing this comment is making me crack up because of how ridiculous this feedback sounds LOL. Awesome job!!
What a charming little prototype! I love the concept and the mechanics of quickly grabbing words, then having to slot them together! This may be an early proof-of-concept build but it definitely gets the idea across really well. The aesthetic is also very gentle and lovely! Great work
Loved the vibe of this game created by the lighting and the audio! I couldn't make it to the end though, I'd say I probably got lost - it's hard to tell whether the elevator buttons take you up or down, and after a certain point I couldn't tell where I'd been from where I hadn't. It definitely fits the theme though :) but a minimap would be useful! I also didn't play in full screen mode, so the text was pretty hard to read, which was a bit of a shame! I also think it would help to have indicators around items that are interactable that also show when you can interact with them, because I did occasionally struggle to read a note or pick up an oxygen tank because I wasn't facing it.
Great job, and congratulations on finishing your game!
Very simple and straightforward, and it definitely fits the theme! With how slow the sub moves left to right and how fast things come up from the bottom of the screen, it can be pretty hard to anticipate where to move until it's too late. Might've been interesting to have a "slow down" feature that uses up more fuel? Since I didn't seem to use much fuel going left and right.
Great job!
This game is gorgeous and SO polished, it's hard to believe it's a jam game!! Y'all have done an AMAZING job, there are so many interesting mechanics and the game feels super fun and responsive to play. The tutorial is also perfect for learning, the checkpoints aren't too punishing, everything ramps up really well and the audio + art and animations really make this game shine. Wonderful job and congratulations!!
What a refreshing jam game!! This was really cool and really well executed. The rocks honestly didn't feel as helpful to me as the whispering did, but they were a good supplement to it. I also really enjoyed the writing!! Great job!
Loved the calm, relaxing vibe of the music and environment, and the gradually dimming lights as a time mechanic! The art was also gorgeous!! I was able to make it to the end after my second attempt, it definitely helped to learn how many floors there were at the end of my first ;) great job!!
