Wow! Great work! The 3D minimap is really cool, It's an interesting idea having to orient yourself in 3D from two angles simultaneously. The music was nice and overall the game had real nice atmosphere.

Very fun! Was able to complete the demo second try. I love the way you did the mini map, nice touch. I was not sure what floor I was on when I was playing but I suppose that adds to the immersion.

The mini map was very cool! That was really impressive. I managed to make it to the bed after 2 tries!

It was a fun 5 minutes thanks!

natethegreat 2021-04-27 04:12

Very easy to miss some of those turns and then be out of time! Well done, good atmosphere and mini story!

makkurataichou 2021-04-27 04:12

Loved the calm, relaxing vibe of the music and environment, and the gradually dimming lights as a time mechanic! The art was also gorgeous!! I was able to make it to the end after my second attempt, it definitely helped to learn how many floors there were at the end of my first ;) great job!!

seng-yong 2021-04-27 04:15

I can't figure out how to proceed to another level myself the art and atmosphere is good

gonzalo-barrionuevo 2021-04-27 04:19

Very fun

alpharock6 2021-04-27 04:20

Wow, I was really ramping up for something frightening as the light kept dimming. What an unexpected and wholesome ending :)

maple 2021-04-27 04:46

I beat it a couple times. :)

It's actually pretty easy by walking diagonally for a speed boost (reminded me of speedrunning Perfect Dark N64), which was fun to figure out and exploit. I also really enjoyed the sound and general vibe of the game. Has a nice warm cozy vibe.

The main thing I didn't realise was that you had to click on the orange thing to proceed (which feels unnecessary) so I died in the first room on my first try. It also would have been nice to have a score indicator at the end, as it can be hard to know how far you got.

Overall great job though. You did a really good job of creating a feeling with the audio and visuals.

Nice art, and nice feeling. I like this kind of environment. The music was pleasant, but in a game about running as fast as you can before you run out of time, the niceness of the music was a little out of place. There really needs to be some communication about the controls-- the first thing I did was go up to the red wall, collide with it, then run around everywhere and try everything else, since it appeared to be a gated area that I was supposed to unlock or supposed to avoid. There isn't really any mechanical reason why you can't just walk through the red walls. Having the mini-map and trying to match it to what you are seeing was a good idea, it makes you have to do this matching game while moving through the space.

This is quite a polished game, good work !.

silas-reinagel 2021-04-27 23:57

Fun game!

I love the relaxing music. The minimap was gorgeous and technically impressive! It was a very helpful player aid.

yellowsalamander 2021-04-28 05:38

this is a very interesting concept: a speedrunning game with a slow moving character. very serene and calming, yet anxious when you see the screen darken. good job!

solah 2021-05-01 17:27

Yeah! I did it \o/

Pretty cool game, it has a Minecraft vibe with its graphics and music. I wish there were more interactions in the dungeon like puzzles, because it was pretty easy to get to the end when looking at the minimap ah ah.

Overall well done!

testuser 2021-05-13 21:34

I was going to give top grades on graphics, but realized they weren't there to grade. Whether those were your assets or not, nice setup, and the high praise just gets transferred to mood.

Thanks everyone for playing and leaving such nice feedback 🥰 I'm really happy a lot of you had the experience I was hoping for. I had a lot of fun making this, but the best part of all is your feedback. So thanks a bunch!!

The transparent orange box is a remnant of another mechanic that didn't make it into the game. I understand the confusion around it. Unfortunately I ran out of time so wasn't able to remove it without breaking the progression of the game. Lesson learned, always have a backup plan! 😅

I took me a while to understand I had to click the orange boxes xD but I made it to the end!!!

I liked the minimap view so I could check which side to turn to

just add some more variety of levels, and you have a nice game here!!! good job

[Thanks for submitting your game to the stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1023830637?t=02h44m23s)

There's some seriously impressive tech going on here! I loved how the minimap populated, and I think you could do some really neat things with it if you design a few more rooms to procedurally generate.
