A bit challenging but a lovely entry. Love the visuals and the idea is pretty funny.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Is it wrong to feed haterz to my plants?

A bit challenging but a lovely entry. Love the visuals and the idea is pretty funny.
I love how the plant just gobbles up the people hahaha. Simple game but gets the job done once you figure it out. I think in-game instructions and/or a better UI would've been appreciated. Keep up the good work
Nice little game! The vector graphics and animations are really beautiful and vibrant. It is a little hard to figure out what to do in the beginning, but ones you get the hang of it, it becomes pretty funny but certainly a challenge! Keep up the good work!
I really like the art, animation and sound. I needed some Time to understand the UI, but then i had a lot of fun.
That plant can have all the haters it wants  What an interesting story, and it sounds like there's quite a context behind it  I don't really get the "mood" (lonely/cheery), and the game is pretty challenging (especially balancing sunlight). Most of all I like the animation and movement, everything feels so alive, even the UI. Also the sound effects and music fit very well. And finally that plant baby :black_heart:
I love this game so much!!!!! Especially the blood and guts LOL
The UI was a bit unintuitive, but the concept is interesting.
Took me a moment to get the hang of it, but it was super funny and feeding the haterz to my plant was VERY satisfying!
Hahaha, very "A Little Shop of Horrors"! I like it a lot. The animations are great. It's challenging, but a lot of fun!
Good idea. My mouse clicking finger almost fell off. Also, I'm not good at multitasking so my plants died a lot. Just like in real life. Fun game with a good sense of humour! Well done!
Had trouble knowing what to do, but funny and a worthy addition.
Ahh, the skulls on the statline! I tried playing without the instructions at first, and it was an enigma, I was thinking "I did all you ask and STILL you die??" Soon after reading the actual instructions it was many, many haters down the gullet as I got a handle on the basics, and then realized I could use mood manipulation on the human to further maintain control... I found a sweet spot and cruised for quite a while!
The art (great animations!), sound, music, and theme come together into a cool little package here, with a nice dissonance between the sweet tone and the flying bones of my deserving victims! Nice work.
PS the answer is "No."
Hey your game is really fun, a fast a furious tamagotchi like ! I like the idea of the plant who eat people and the other details and actions ! This will be a perfect mobile game i think, that's good work !
Cool little game. It's fun to play and has a lot of depth.
Might be missing some in-game feedback on how mechanics affect each other. But at the same time there's a lot of information on the screen. Some attention to UX/UI will greatly help your game get more fans!
Might be a tad on the difficult side for a jam game (don't expect everyone to read your instructions). You can try to introduce each concept in a separate level next time. (Although that requires a little bit more code)
Dab the haters away!
Fun game, I like how the interaction works, and how the stats of the plants are displayed. However, the implications of each mood are not clear at first, and need to be read from the tips. Once you get in the flow, the game gets fun, but I'm missing some progression, with increasing difficulty or some change. Great game regardless.
What an interesting idea and a great looking game! The plant in my game is much less bloodthirsty.
Thanks for checking out my game! We both used Construct 3 for our submissions, very cool. It's mostly Unity from what i've seen :D I had a hard time figuring out what to do in your game, i was just spam clicking on everything because i didn't know what to do, maybe implement some kind of tutorial or start the game off slow.
That was really nice. The whole thing just fit together really well, It's kind of hard to put my fingure on what exactly it was, it just generally felt really good.
Great job.
A nice little resource management system. I liked how the curtain works, so you have to balance a lot or a little influence. It would have been nice to have an indicator for how long day and night are though. I am also not quite sure on what role the hairdrier and the watering can play. But maybe that is because there is a lot going on at all times, maybe some quiet times between days might help, just like a little pause that tells you "Day X Survived!".
Either way this is a solid and fun game, really well done!
Reminds me of a Warioware style game with the gameplay and audio!
