Way too much hard. I could barely pass the second wall of the first level after many tries :(
The fact that you can't predict a red platform combined with the fact that it is making you lose a hell lot of momentum make it quit frustrating. Plus, knowing that you can be slowed by a plateform, you tend to try to land on the extremity of it, making it harder to know on what plateform you landed.
that's a pity cause i would have loved to go further, it seemed nicely done 👌
You need to time your jumps and learn the levels. Also you can skip any level you like by selecting levels in the menu. Thanks for playing! @nicso
I like the general look of the game, but its difficulty is far too high. Could not reach the second wall more than once every 10 attempts in the first level.
Enjoyed the game, took me a while to get used to the jumping. In the beginning I would spam the jump button, but it is better to use them more carefully.
The game itself feels really polished; it has a tutorial, nice audio, mood and Rachel. And Rachel didn't shout at me when I failed over and over again. Although maybe it would be cool if she did.
I really enjoyed the freerunning in the game. Keep up the great work!
Great game and a lot of fun with the snappy and robust mechanics interesting graphics (personally I would have put some stuff in the sky/background), and a really nice tutorial that tells you everything you need to know. One of my favorites so far.
I am currently stuck at level 3 and I am getting more and more frustrated because you get instantly reset and you have no idea really, of how close the wall is to you. I would have made something like a vignette or darken the screen if the wall was close like I did in my game (shameless plug) when you get overwhelmed.
Really fun game to play! Completed all the levels. love the graphics! They remind me off Antichamber. Could have done with some more play testing to balance the levels a bit. And the wall running mechanic felt a little off. I give this game a solid 8/10
Well crafted, but haaaaaaard (and I won't improve, I might as well have been born without hands , so not really for me). But still, I'm impressed, it is quite polished, and even if I am not the best character to say that, I think the gamefeel would be better if the deplacements were a bit more springy and nervous : it felt like I was underwater or something.
This game was great. Graphics looks like antichamber and are great ! And gameplay mechanics made me think of Minecraft parkour map ^^. The game is a bit hard but with a bit of practice it's ok  Didn't manage to go to the end of the last level tho' ^^'
Definately loved the art style and the tutorial was nice! I enjoy the level of difficulty but would allow for a little more time with the black wall. This game turns into a "memorize the platforms" game which is fun and definately can make it brutual for the casual player! I'd say watch other people play it and make very very minor tweaks :)
I like the concept, it has potential. Only pet peeve is that the first level was way to hard, that is until I discovered that your double jump resets after a wall-run, I did not expect it to reset. This should have been explained in the tutorial(correct me if I am wrong). That said it feels really satisfying landing on surfaces with special features (such as the speed boost).
The game is really hard, I had a problem with the jumping off the walls and onto the platforms as well. In level 2 I also couldn't go fast enough, but that was probably because I was going too slow.
One in all, really cool game.
Good mechanics and idea. As people have already mentioned, the difficulty curve is way off. But besides that, solid entry!
I enjoy this game very much! It's amazing funny!
I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I can't run on the walls... It tilts my camera but that's it! Would expect to keep running on the wall (without moving dowwn, or a very small amount) and for my jump counter to reset, both of which did not happen :C
The game looks great but at the moment doesn't seem to work for me.
I really like the simple minimalistic graphics! The gameplay is pretty cool but really hard, I would suggest making walls move a bit slower. I couldn't get past level 4 I think.
Also you can negate the platform's effect if you jump just at the right time (most noticible with slow down and jump pads). If that's intentional it would be useful if you said that in the tutorial and maybe made the time window for it a bit bigger. If that's not intentional I'm not even sure how you completed the levels
You need to hold jump when on the wall and yes there is a bug when you are on the wall but not holding space that it tilts the camera. @jelbre
Yes it is but you need to play some levels differently that you would normally. You need to think what to do and where to jump. There are multiple ways of completing every level. Thanks for playing! @lamossus
Just echoing what @nicso said here, but I think that while the design and ideas in this game show a lot of potential, the game is just too difficult. It's a shame though, the game definitely looked good!
A fun, well made challenging game, I got all the way to the end of the last level, but I could not manage to touch the final crystal. I also like the look of the game, and its music. Good job!
I will be releasing the full and repaired game on my Itch.io account. https://tinypizzastudio.itch.io/
Nice idea and sounds, but too hard to get involved for me.
Suggestion:
1)a smoother level difficulty raise 2)maybe make the purpose of colored platforms more obvious ( triple arrow above accelerate platform, a huge crack on single-time object, etc)
Nice game. I feel the color of the platforms should be always visible because it doesn't add anything to the game to not know. Jumping between wall requires to jump where the walls are the closest, or you'll not be high enough to reach the next platform. A little more room for error would have been great. The last vertical jump with the green platform is annoying because you don't see the crystal so you don't know if you need to move, and you need to get it on the way up because you wont get another chance. Also I feel that the green platform should not bounce you up, but let you jump higher. Several time I pressed jump by reflex and ended up killing all the momentum. And you should put level 2 before level 1.
@thebmxeur Thanks for playing! Yes I will improve the game and Iam going to release the full game on my itch.io
Why adam...why??????????
@x-pilot Becouse I can :)
So I replayed it now knowing that I have to hold the spacebar, and overall the game is really nice! Good looks, fun to play. There are a few things I would change though: - lock on to walls automatically if you hit them, and jump to get off them, instead of holding jump to stay on. There are many occasions where you try to hold on to a wall but the game thinks I wanted to jump. - Increase the hitbox of the crystal (or add more crystals to the final level). I got to the end of the last level around 6 times before giving up because hitting that crystal feels almost impossible!
@jelbre Thanks for the tips! I will work on the game!
Very great game but I have some thing to say :
- The difficulty is probably too hard too early - You have to click with the mouse to start controling the camera - I had problem with the jump, after a long time I understood that we could double jump and now I see that I had to hold the button - The fact that we don't see the color of the platform is weird, it's like : do the whole level a first time to see what it is about and then clear it once you know the level. I don't think it is possible to clear a level from first try.
I sound maybe too negativ but I very appreciate it so I give my opinion on how it could be better (maybe).
@miracl You need to learn the levels and I will improve the game for the full release! Thanks for playing.
Great game with a cool art-style, smooth movement and it fits the theme very well. Definitely a cool time killer!
Some love from DanaePlay stream, it is a very challenging game, scores very high for all categories for me. If there is anything to critize, its a bit too difficult xD. At first I thought the snapping to the wall is a bit abrupt, but then it is also a good indication for players that now he has been attached to the wall. Very nice mechanic, great work!
@josh-stafford @nam-nguyen Thanks for feedback and for playing my game! :)
I really like the feel of the game, the tutorial is pretty good for a ludum dare game, and the level select screen is really important. I beat every level except the last one. I played it maybe 50 times. I got to the last jump pad most of those, but it never boosted be up, so every time I got to the end I was really frustrated, and then I get sandwiched by the walls. The level design is what makes this game good, it would have been good to explain the double jump, since that took be a couple fails of the first level to realize. Also, sometimes it would let me triple jump? I couldn't figure out what the rules were for that. I would have loved to beat the game, but it felt a bit like a pixel perfect kind of challenge, and I'm just not a machine, so I couldn't do it. Otherwise the game was really well made! And although it was really hard, it also kept me playing, wanting to beat it, so that's good.
Great work!
@cameronpenner Thanks for playing! Yes the last level is pretty hard but its possible. Many people made it but I need to improve it more. Triple jump is not possible. Maybe you touched the platform or something and jumped again. The game will be released as a full game in the future on my itch.io account. Thank you for you feedback!
