Great entry, some weird stuff but the theme the audio and graphics are really good !
Good for exploration, it took me 1 min to get lost xD. I found fight not so fun though. Overall it is a very great entry good job.

Very great and unique idea, the game felt sometimes a little bit buggy though, anyway very good work !
Lovely little game (too hard for me). There are a lot of details and polish (animation, transition and sfx). The game was acting weird when I right clicked on the board whithout holding tile, I don't know if it is on purpose or if it is a bug. Great entry !

The music at the beginning is quite weird, and I don't understand why the score system is "sun". It would have make more sense if it would have been "money", because you getting more "sun" by destroying the plants is paradoxal.
Now that the "bad part" is gone, It is a very good idea with very good graphics the story that is behind is touching and the ammount of details is great.
Thank you for this game, I see your video since (almost) the beginning to improve my developping skills, I would love if you could test my game !
Great little game for this ammount of time ! I think the physics of the jump is a little bit weird though. I would like to know if you've done the audio yourself, in which case it would be incredible.

Very unique experience, the great and relaxing music, and the fact that there is a leaderboard makes me think that this is the best game of the jam that I've played so far. Excellent work

Oui, je me suis rendu compte de ce problème très tôt dans le developpement du jeu, c'est pour ça que le système de combo a autant d'importance, vu que le jeu va de plus en plus vite, la stratégie d'appuyer sur toutes les touches n'est pas si rentable que ça au bout du compte.
@mikixen Thank you so much for your feedback ! I had this problem of spamming the arrow keys very early in the developpement, and that is one of the reason why I implemented the combo system. Actually the goal of the game is to do best score as possible, and not to survive, so I think the strategy is no longer viable.
Very great idea, nicely done. I didn't understand the laboratory, and I managed to survive at 999 score but after that, there was a HUGE wave of enemy that destroy all my building xD.
Anyway it's an excellent entry, well done !
Would have been great to have a scoring system with eventually combo, and to have a scene to see all the add that we closed (cause I feel like you put a lot of time in the fake add design and some of them looks really fun, but the game want me to close it before I can read it). Overall it's a good entry.
Totally in love with the audio, I liked the SFX, the confetti, explosions and your laugh. It's a bit too random and if we are great mathematician (what I'm not) there's no way we can lose. Overall it's a good entry, congratulation.

I didn't manage to have fun with it, but damn the audio and the mood is great ! I think it would have been incredible with other gameplay mechanics. The story you try to deliver is touching though. Good job !
Great style, control doesn't feel very responsive maybe we should be able to cut trees from further. Oh, and I fell in love with the "cinematic" at the beginning.

I find it actually cool, but i would have appreciate to understand what i was doing, because i found it sometime too random, and didn't manage to understand how to make them happy.
Both graphics and sound are great, the game design is not very original but the feedbacks make it enjoyable to play. Maybe a retry button at the game over screen would be great. Good entry !
Yeah, the sound is quite annoying, and the controls quite buggy, otherwise there is a game and it could have been even better with more sfx, more (or a bigger) Level Design. Anyway, it's a good work !

It's a good simple game, good work
The way the player moves is very unique but a little bit confusing, you should have add a little animation to make it more clear. And it took me some time to understand that I had to eat in order to not not be fat. Anyway this is a good entry.
Very great game but I have some thing to say :
- The difficulty is probably too hard too early - You have to click with the mouse to start controling the camera - I had problem with the jump, after a long time I understood that we could double jump and now I see that I had to hold the button - The fact that we don't see the color of the platform is weird, it's like : do the whole level a first time to see what it is about and then clear it once you know the level. I don't think it is possible to clear a level from first try.
I sound maybe too negativ but I very appreciate it so I give my opinion on how it could be better (maybe).
First, why the rabbits are flying ?

Pretty good entry! I even retry once, the art is great but it lacks some effect and obviously sound. The game is responsive which is great, I would have appreciate shortcuts to upgrade the skills.

Good job for your first game ! Here's a list of thing I noticed during my playthrough - the quit button doesn't work - you can skip the whole level (the 4 if i remember well) by going left - the physics of the jump is a little bit frustrating : the fall should be faster (for me)
For the first time since so long, I have appreciate a moment with my brother, thank you for that and thak you or your piece of art !
Solid entry with a lot of sign / feedback but it was very hard for me to understand it at the beginning
The concept is genuinely incredible. The game reacts to your playstyle : You can play as a murderer / masochistic bear and kill all the bees in order to show the domination that you don't have in the real world in a virtual one. But that was not my playstyle and I dived into the gameplay of fast stealth and platforming which is (if you close your eyes in front of the bugs) very solid too.
The art, the music, the narration transcend me (especially when I heard the sung part of the music) not to mention the genius metaphor of the bees that populate your levels just as bugs populates your game (bees = bugs)

Dude can someone stop this guy ? My eyes and my ears hurts from the thunder but I guess it's feel good. Overall this game is very good but but at some moment I was really upset for example when enemy keeps throwing tenders at you when you don't even see them. I died like 4 time from a tender that came from the direction I went to. I guess a parry / reflect mechanic would make sense here. And I didn't manage to make good use of the upgraded mechanics (probably because I don't know how to use them) because most of the time I didn't want to take the risk of losing feather, plus the feather that I lose are stuck in the air and I can't reach it.

Really well polished game, don't mind me if I just show up the criticism I could have had during my playthrough : First I found the character controller a little bit slippery it was a little bit hard to control at first The showers trigger themselves instantly which is kinda upsetting at time, It would be nice to have like a little animation like the propeller starting to rotate before. It happends to me that I died even before the actual water was touching my fire and it was frustrating.
Other than that I think it's an excellent entry, what you did compared to the time we have is amazing, there is art, animation, sounds, two different music, 10 different level with different features, and some teaching. Great great work, keep it up !
@nickavv Let me know when you have it "fixed". Despise my citicism I made it to the end of the game so it's just minor issues that can be overseen when looking at all your great features !
Je ne savais pas que j'avais besoin de jouer à ce jeu avant d'y jouer, la situation de Boo m'a fait réaliser que nous ne sommes pas légitimes de nous plaindre quand certains doivent survivre à des nuées d'abeilles des coulée de laves et des météorites le tout en faisant de l'hyperanxiété.

Solid game, the animation and effect are well polished. The concept is cool too, the fact that you gain verticality by going on you lamp.
I found it weird that you had some platforming challenge, I found myself dying multiple time to a little hole. Indeed your character controller is slow and linear, perfect for puzzle and narrative mood.
Also I didn't understand the last puzzle, I think I got passed it by accident, and is it just me or is this the f word that is written on the pillars at the end ?

OK this is cool ! There is attention to details like the weapon customisation and the minimal (which helped me a lot)
I would have loved to explore the world, it looked so fun to play in but there was everytime little goblins to kill that made me go back to the begining. Also quick things you could do to improve the game could be to hide the cursor and to allow the player to switch weapon as there is only two, for example with the mouse scroll wheel.
Anyway I had fun, keep it up !

Nice entry, the saw sound suprised me a little and some collision and jump reseting are weird but it's pretty cool for a first game, keep it up !
Hey your game is very cool, very well polished. The cinematic at the begining the little scale on the character animation... I had a lot of trouble to play though, I found no particular use of the stick to the wall mechanic, I could make all the levels without it (I didn't finished all the level though). For example it seems that you can jump only 3 times but it is nowhere told. Don't take this harshly though, I afford to make critism only because I like it a lot (I spend quite a lot of time trying) and I can see that you are good at making games, keep it up !
Oh it makes sense now, I think you should definitely show the stamina to the player, I thought it influenced the flower bar at the top. You could make an other UI Bar or implement it in a more diegetic way, Celeste did a great job with it. Let me know if / when you make the change i'm intersted in the development of your game !
You did a lot of things well done, I'm not a fan of the bloom effect though, a little bit too much for me. I wish could select my cube with a rect selection tool.

The soundtrack is great but I feel like it's difficult to keep a player engage during 6 min. I couldn't make it to unlock the hard but I wish I could have seen what the games looked like with more difficulty. I think there is not enough zombies and they are going too fast. Also you can heal your plant but there is now way to heal yourself.
Technically speaking, I think it would be better if the projectile you shoot had the direction of your cursor with a constant speed, and not it's position which leads to slow projectile and having to shoot behind enemies to kill them. And your AI try to reach you in a straight line, causing zombies to stuck themself sometimes.
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to explain what's going and how to play at the begining though. Keep it up !
Had a great time playing it, the fact that i could move freely verticaly was clever. I didn't feel the power of my upgrades and the first cat rescue mechanic is a little hard on keyboard because I only have two hands. Very good music too the menu bossa nova was a banger !
I don't even know how to comment without telling you things that you already know or writing 150 line of review. The game looked very cool at the begining but since I had to play for 30 min to finish it, it quick ly fell down (deeper and deeper). Please make something simple next time, you won't regret it.
Great game, the mechanics that are constently re-used are getting old (like the tinder one) but I had a great time playing it, and the music slaps !
The how to play section was quite hard to get through, things like the money represent how much money you have could have been guessed by the player. Then I played and it propose me to buy stuff, for 1000$ when I have 90. The difficulty curve could have been lower. The music slaps though
Great polish game here ! I had difficulties to make difference between yellow and other color, I think it's because transparent yellow + pink background = pink orb. That little thing apart I had fun and played quite a long time for a Jam game ! Congrats !

Interesting concept, I doubt on the balancing of the fight, especially when you can heal yourself for free because the monster attack you only when you attack him.
Overall, this is a good entry, keep doing games like that !

The controls (1,2 and 3) didn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong ? The graphics are pretty good but I didn't get the Theme.
Great job for having a game done. I feel like it lacks a lot of stuff (music, sounds, even fun (lol)). Clicking is annoying, nothing pressure you to click faster and the power are too expansive. I'm also sure you could have done something with the "Space" theme because we forget it fast.
