okay .... graphics could have really been improved. They are just plane images moving around, takes the fun out of game. I was not able to save myself from zombies and die pretty quickly. There is no death animation my guy just died from a little distance , so probably game mechanics need a relook. 'Audio is really cool !! Good attempt

Liked the concept but it's a bit too slow to start for me -- and it's not actually clear that you can use WASD to move around. I like that you're protecting something, though, and that time passes slowly and deliberately, great sense of tension!
I played and finished the normal mode.The artwork does lot with a little.nice audio too.My only gripe is with the spawn rate.The spawn rate was too slow in the beginning and got incredibly fast in the last minute it almost felt like i was playing a rhythm game.Overall nicely done.
The soundtrack is great but I feel like it's difficult to keep a player engage during 6 min. I couldn't make it to unlock the hard but I wish I could have seen what the games looked like with more difficulty. I think there is not enough zombies and they are going too fast. Also you can heal your plant but there is now way to heal yourself.
Technically speaking, I think it would be better if the projectile you shoot had the direction of your cursor with a constant speed, and not it's position which leads to slow projectile and having to shoot behind enemies to kill them. And your AI try to reach you in a straight line, causing zombies to stuck themself sometimes.
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to explain what's going and how to play at the begining though. Keep it up !
ok, fun idea--I think I see where you were going with it. With a one screen game though would really be nice to at least have a gradient or something on the background and floor--was kind of distracting from the other elements it was so contrast-y. The zombies felt a bit fast and the diamonds look a bit overpowered, I think with some tuning could improve the replay-ability quite a bit, the fundamentals are there.
Simple game, which respects the theme, and not bad at all ! It was quite fun to protect the plant from the zombies, however I found that the shoot mechanic had some latency, indeed, when I shot, it took some times to trigger.
Apart from that, gg for your work !

Nice project! It was easy to finish because of a bug: if you stay in the corner of the room, the zombies are stuck on the wall trying to catch you.
Overall: Fun idea, well presented, great tension. A touch slow/samey.
Fun: Definitely fun for the last in-game hour. The game works well, and the shooting is satisfying. I didn't find myself having to move very often. The first 5 hours create a lot of tension because I can guess it's going to get hard at the end. But I think that build-up goes on a bit too long. I might have halved the game time (e.g., by making the clock run twice as fast but having the rush go for the last two hours). Hard mode didn't seem to get any harder than the hard part of the main game, and by the end it felt a bit samey. Just needs something to add variety. Extra enemy types maybe. (You know the sort. A tank. A fast one.)
Innovation: It's a standard kind of gameplay, but having to protect the plant adds something new.
Theme: Yes
Graphics: The player, plant and zombies look good. I'd love it if the background had the same kind of detail.
Audio: Good! The music creates tension while being enjoyable to listen to. The zombie sounds are good.
Mood: Good, thanks to the build up of tension and the music.
I saw what this game was about and I HAD to play it! (I'm the creator of Plants vs. Zombies)
The music stood out to me right away as being really well done.
I'm not sure about using a diamond as a weapon. It didn't scream "weapon" to me. (Now here's where you laugh and say "Yeah, and Peas are??") I was thinking something like shotgun or throwing knives or even a yo-yo would say "weapon" more
Once I realized I could shoot through the plant I just stood in place and the game got a lot easier. Too easy I think. The game is a bit too simplistic in my opinion, I would love to see an added element or two to keep the gameplay interesting.
