Bee Alive! by FrozenCow 2020-05-05T04:20:35Z
Wow, this was a really cool concept. I wasn't able to play it in multiplayer but I still had fun playing it with myself somehow haha. Great work.

Wow, this was a really cool concept. I wasn't able to play it in multiplayer but I still had fun playing it with myself somehow haha. Great work.
I really enjoyed this. The concept was great and the gameplay was fun. I could easily cheese my way through the game by just sitting motionless and firing at the top of the screen though. Audio could be improved too.
This was a really fun game. I liked the concept and controls. Great work.
Never thought I'd want to play a game about a beetroot killing snails by dancing to a beat yet here I am. I took some time to jam to the title screen music too. I enjoyed playing this game. Good work.
I really liked this game. The graphics were incredible. Jumping was a little difficult at times though.
I really love this game's art style. My only problem with it is that it's really slow (other people have mentioned this, sorry haha) but other than that great work!
I liked this. The puzzles were interesting and the game was fun. The graphics were great too.
This was difficult to beat. I really enjoyed it. I would have liked a few more checkpoints though (although that might just be because I suck at it.)
I had lots of fun with this game. I thought scrap was a little hard to get early on though (although I understand that's probably intentional lol.)
I really liked this game. Everything about it is really cute and I maxed out every stat. My only problem was that hunting got a little repetitive after a while. Maybe next time try to add some more enemies that would be more likely to appear if the player's combat skill was higher.
I really liked this game. The writing was great and your take on the theme was excellent. Collision was a bit funny though.
I really liked it. The graphics, music and concept were all fantastic. The controls were kinda funny though.
The controls are a little funny. I got stuck in corners multiple times and had trouble moving around quickly. I still had lots of fun playing it though. Good work!
Yo, your itch.io page gives me a 404. Not sure if that was intentional. screenshot.png
Sorry for playing this a little late, that was my bad. I like it. The concept is fun and I really like the graphics.
One of my issues was that it was a little difficult to navigate from planet to planet and also manage your oxygen once you were on a planet's surface. Maybe next time add something else that can influence your oxygen levels other than being near the spaceship. (although I never actually beat the game so that might actually already be a thing)
Other than that, great work.
Yo, your game looks great but it crashes on startup for me with this error: ___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation ShaderName: shd_dust

I'm actually running it on a very new laptop. It's running DirectX 12. What's your DirectX version?
Update: problem mysteriously solved itself after I deleted the game then downloaded it again.
@vivek-sharma20 Thanks for your feedback! I'll work on those next time.
I just remembered I could reply to these, so sorry lol! Thank you all so much for your feedback, I appreciate it so much :)
I liked this game. It was fun and relaxing. My only problem was that I didn't understand the condition required to win - was there a timer?
this game is so cool! very fun gameplay and unique concept
it absolutely brought my computer to its knees though, especially during the final boss. the screenshaking kept sending my camera outside of the map for several seconds, although i was playing on the webgl build. this is awesome though, great work!
this was fun! i liked the cute art style and the ambient music reminded me of OFF my only criticism is that maybe the spikes' colliders were a little too big, i found myself dying when only hitting the edge of them. normally platformers shrink their spikes' colliders a little, just to make it more fair overall i still liked this a lot.
very cute short game, i loved the art and mood. i'd definitely agree that i didn't quite get the correlation to the theme until you explained it though, but otherwise good work!
this is a cool game, i liked the fun and simple concept. i slowly got better at the game as i kept playing.
i'm not sure if this was intentional but i found that when i pressed s to create a loop and then s again to speed it up my score from the last session would persist, thus going straight from 0 score to 300. good work though!
wow this is a really creative take on the theme
it's super duper fun, great work!
i liked this! fun gameplay and concept. i liked the different characters too
this is so cool! one of my personal highlights was definitely the art (it's very good) but wow this game is cool
i think my only criticism would be that swapping my right hand between the arrow keys and the mouse wasn't great controls-wise, but otherwise great work!
this is cool. it had a really awesome concept and i really liked the puzzles, although i never got to finish the third one. there are a few collision bugs here and there but i still really enjoyed it, good work!
this is a very cool little toy, i loved playing around with it. the very nice graphics give it a nice touch too. good work!
this is a really cool game, the mechanics are awesome and i had a lot of fun. good work!
i know plenty of people have already said this but i just couldn't get myself over the first obstacle. just couldn't play much of this because of that, sorry
this is a fun little game that does a lot with little and a simple concept. i really liked it, good work!
this is a fun short game. the pixel art was really cool and i really liked the electronic vibe of the soundtrack, plus having the spaceship stuck in an orbit was a nice spin (pun unintended but please pretend it was) on the theme. also i know people have already mentioned this but i had several instances where i started a level with zero obstacles, winning immediately. otherwise, good work!
@jonah @zachsbutt thank you! and oh shoot, i totally forgot to do that! my b
@hacksawunit @merotar thank you! @shosanna oh dang, i didn't realize that the text on the walls was so blurry, sorry! it probably looked a little better quality-wise when i was initially testing it in the editor... thank you all for your feedback though :)
@aquanim @atonic @frecklebars thank you, and thanks for playing!
@hacksawunit hey i just read your second edit, where have you looked so far? a quick hint based on another person who had trouble finding the last piece of evidence: maybe the loop person still has some more to tell you
@rmonthil @diego-escalante @eugenik @shaolin-dave @ds-nahogara @cliffracerx thank you all, and thanks for playing! @etrealjunior thanks for playing! i played your game and left a comment, i liked it @cliffracerx thank you! yes that's the good ending, congrats!
i haven't finished this game just yet but from what i've played so far i really like the art and mood. it sets a deep feeling of melancholy for me right from the beginning, which is awesome.
my only criticism would be that i wish there was some kind of indicator of how long i had left until time loops back again, kinda like a timer. good work though!
really cool! this sets a great mood from the beginning. it's a creative use of story and dialogue to make the game interesting, and i really like the mystery and ambiguity of everything. the graphics were really cool too
very cool game! i remember following you at the start of the jam because i thought participating in the jam as a system programmer was the coolest thing ever (and i still think it is) my only criticism is that i found sometimes the player would slowly shift to the left or right side of the screen when i wasn't pressing anything, which i'm not sure was intentional. otherwise i had fun exploring the randomly-generated levels and the high score leaderboard was a cool implentation
very cute little game, i made the hamster happy on my second try. my only criticism would be that i thought the cooldown for the rest button was waaay too long. overall good work!
very cool game. i liked the unique art style and the story did a good job of matching the theme. good work!
this is cool! i liked the puzzles, and collecting the pieces of a key to unlock the door was a neat idea. good work!
this is a fun little game that does a lot with its simplicity. i know people have already said this but my only criticism would be that i wish the looping map would have played more of a role, because it kinda feels like it was just added to fit the theme. but i still really enjoyed this, good work!
