Hey nice effort! It was pretty hard to tell which direction it was going to shoot but I'm not sure if that was your intention lol. Also I think you can fly offscreen forever? Not bad!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → twisty shooty

Yooo, nice man. These controlls are genius, they let you aim withough using the mouse. Full 360degree acuracy, but they are pretty hard to get used too. I really like this controll system, good luck to you!
Reeeealy hard to aim in my opinion especially because i couldn't tell which way i was facing. Pretty nice game though!
I had to click when I saw the thumbnail, the idea feels like it could be developed into something quirky if this concept was given some direction. but hot damn, twisty shooty is the best name ive heard for any game in some time
Nice effort. I found the rotation-plus-sideways controls hard to figure out, and that made the four-way shooting really hard to use, but it was interesting. Some hint as to how many times you can get hit (life gauge, etc) would be helpful. Music and sound were cool.
I really enjoyed this. The concept was great and the gameplay was fun. I could easily cheese my way through the game by just sitting motionless and firing at the top of the screen though. Audio could be improved too.
Took me some time to figure out which direction I was facing, which is of course needed for the WASD shooting. Reminds me of the old Atari Asteroids game :-) Interested to hear more about your Godot experience!
Graphics were, uh... something. Audio was very nice. Controls were super interesting in how novel they were, but felt like they could really *use some work*. I get what you were going for, but it mostly just felt frustrating to control and shoot. Not really sure how the theme is relevant here.
