It was so much fun making this game ;D
A very interesting game :) ! Well done ! I loved the intro scene, extremely well done and the music was also fantastic ! The levels were well designed and interesting, though the backtracking was sometimes a bit annoying (perhaps smaller levels and faster controls ?) Anyway all in all a solid game jam entry ! Keep it up :)
Good one guys
Very funny game! Good work!
LOVE IT!!!!!!! It was so funny and great to play it. You should have much more feedback! I loved the intro and end, so cool artstyle and the gameplay was perfect for the theme!!!!!
That Roblox "Oof" Sound effect made my day
What a nice little game there! I gotta say this intro scene is brilliant work... Very very impressive
Guys the opening scene is so cool !
Just one think,(level 1) if you don't fall on spikes, you're falling for ever ^^. A lots of good level design idea! Well done ;)
I can't believe there were cutscenes. As soon as I saw that I knew I was in for a great experience. The amount of polish is fantastic, and although the art style was simplistic, it was consistent and looked great.
The whole thing of sacrificing soldiers to get to the end of the level was pretty simple, but the way it was presented with the overly morbid death animations and stuff really pulled it together.
Great job!
This game has the best and most epic intro I've yet seen on a LD! <3
Awesome, great work! :top:
so incredible graphics <3 and good perspective of theme :D
haha, best one i played so far :D Good intro, good concept and even a story. on a side note,I went past the king on the last level and fell forever :P

* "oh, this looks like a darker version of loco roco" * i died * oof.mp3 * suicide animations * mfw
I really enjoyed your game! Great art - especially in introduction (it will be wonderful, if you put this graphic also to levels!), good music, interesting characters (the evil peach? ^^) and this toy-king (in the beginning I thought that the Queen is a mad or sth and killing her beloved husband xD). Good job! :D
I really enjoyed your game! We did a grape vs pigeon game called the grapes of wrath! I did not expect to see another on the same theme. Have a Grape Day!!!!!11!!1!!:)
Lovely little game, impressed by the quantity of content that it has tout offer plus the 2 cutscenes. Great entry
im allergic to peaches so i felt this in my core
This was fun! The controls felt very fluid, and the sounds/music fit perfectly! (For humor, or for general use) Must say, those suicide animations caught me off guard. Well done!
Loved this, although the levels may have been a touch too spacious/lengthy for the mechanic.
Also, the self-sacrifice animations are super dark and a bit shocking in such a cute game. XD

This is so hillarious... that i LOVE it. Poor little grapes :(
It works really well with the theme. Great game overall!
Really cute game, I liked the artstyle and graphics. I wish the puzzles were a bit smaller and showed a bit better where to go and what traps are there because dying over and over again can be a bit frustrating. Overall very nice application of the theme.
Oh boy I was not expecting those suicide animations, heh. Cool use of the mechanic, and the physics were really solid. I particularly appreciated that holding jump would bounce pretty much the same way for each grape, so I could span gaps consistently between lives. The only strange thing to me was later levels seemed to require less sacrifice and more platforming, though I can't really complain as the size of the later levels would have been very punishing if you had to get many grapes through to the later bits. The cutscenes were awesome, fun graphics and very polished. Nicely done!
This game is dark for how colourful and simple the visual style is. I never found a desperate need to sacrifice many grapes apart from the one level where you need to let a bird eat a grape to get past it. The physics work well and I like the hand-painted art style.
The whole package is super nice, from graphics to cutscenes. It's amazing you managed that in 3 days. The only negative point is the super weird hitboxes (I think the grapes have a square hitbox?).
Really nice game!
Also OOF!
@skdf Hi. Thanks for comment. No. All grapes have round colliders.
This is great with a lot of character and heart! Lovely work :)
Is the 1.0 version the jam and 1.1 post work? I would like to play and rate it. Would be nice if you make clearer whats the original jam version
@muffty Hi there! Version 1.1 is a bug fixed version of our 1.0 game. And by following the rules you can see, that bug fixes is allowed in Jam)
