If I had Tetris in my processor, this is what it would look like!

I really loved this puzzle game. It's super well made and extremely polished. The art, gameplay, everything was super well done! I had a blast playing through and getting all the upgrades to my computer

Thanks for submitting this to my stream, and being such an active viewer! Great job on this entry!!

Pretty fun! My best round was 3825 KB.

The game itself is really fun and addictive, although I think there could be a few small improvements. One of the main things I think this needs are clearer piece outlines. It's a little difficult to tell which piece is which in the RAM at a glance from just the circuit lines, and even more difficult to tell what's a valid block to use compression on. The RAM also becomes less useful as the game progresses, since the piece timer quickly becomes too fast to pay attention to anything except the next piece. This is made worse by the fact that it isn't always perfectly clear what tile a piece will go on when you drop it, resulting in mis-drops when the timer speeds up.

Despite this laundry list of nitpicks, this is probably one of my favorite games I've seen so far. Now excuse me while I try to make a 5-clear...

Edit: Okay did that. My life is complete now.

Pretty interesting game! It reminds me of Piece Out from Mario Party 5.

I really loved it, the ability to remove one tile from a piece really changed how to game was played, and the upgrade system was really thought out. It really got me hooked for a while!

Once I got into it, it was really fun and felt really good to play, but I think the glowing lines on the blocks were a bit misleading. Combining the flowing patterns on them and the "transfer data quickly" theme, I initially thought it would play more like Pipe Dream instead of Tetris.

I wish my pc would lvl up too.

In the beginning i had was iritated by that cool animated lines on that cubes, i thougt i had to connect them in order to get the blocks destroyed but once i figured out thats its like tetris it was really fun. The upgrade options are pretty funny!

One of my favorites so far!

It fits with the theme really well, and is a super well done hectic puzzle game!

The RAM mechanic is a great idea, and getting the compression upgrade really mixes up the gameplay! There's a huge risk to stacking up high scores, but when you get a 4x4 completion it's super satisfying (I love that you added increasing sound effects for each combo!)

This gameplay is super clear and well done, nothing feels like it doesn't belong there. It's the most "complete" game I've played so far!

I'll remember this one, fantastic job! (PS, the music is indeed kick-ass)

This is the best LD 42 game I played so far! I really hope you will continue developing it! I'm surprised you have such low amount of ratings.

The game is very deep but all of the mechanics are very simple and easy to understand. The learning curve is perfect adding more complexity as you unlock more upgrades. The game might seem a bit unfair at first because of the random selection of shapes but after playing for a while you start realising that there is ALWAYS a good way to place things. Making such a huge bonus for making multiple lines at the same time really motivates to think about your shape placement and creates a very interesting risk vs reward mechanic where you can go safe and remove lines as soon as possible or get a bit greedy for score and wait for the perfect shape to appear. If you will polish it a bit and have a good marketing this game may even become the next Tetris!

my highscore is 7500 by the way

More people should see this game! Polished, upgrades done well, audio doesn't disturb, graphics just fit. Good job!

Had so good time I did 17525 high score lol

Oh my god, I played until my fingers hurt. This was deceptively addictive. I found the design of the 'ram' section to hold pieces for later interesting. It began as a placeholder for me to store extra valuable pieces (the short nubby 2s and the line pieces) until just the right moment, like one would expect. But when I got the thrid upgrade for cooling, it became a place for me to quickly re-set my heat count with a particularly troublesome piece, or while waiting for compression to be up again.

This game was a fun Jam submission without the upgrade tree. With it, It became a wonderfully complicated puzzle.

Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed playing this. I wasn't terribly good at it. Great use of an upgrade system to increase replayability. The game was simple and intuitive and leave you plenty of directions you could expand on if you were so inclined. The only thing I would change was that once I got into a groove placing blocks, there wasn't much other than a particularly bad sequence of blocks that could end my streak. Something that helps increase difficulty over time maybe? Forgive me if you already had something like that in place and I just didn't notice. Once again, good job. This is a Jam entry you should be proud of.

luckyfeathers 2018-08-30 20:20

@arch The time between each new block gradually decreases. After about 3-4 minutes the blocks spawn twice as fast. Glad you enjoyed the game though :)
