Really interesting concept!

I couldnt get past the first stage, controls are super hard. Make it a bit easier, I would love to play it more!

ohjuliego 2025-04-08 03:31

Pretty dang hard controls. Also bumped you don't actually respawn at the latest checkpoint (which I had assumed were the charging points?) Overall fun idea though!

jaxrud 2025-04-08 03:34

The Checkpoint is when you pass from one level to the next, 2 Checkpoints. Hehe, but yeah we made it hard, but once you get used to it the first level is pretty quick to power through. So need to get the key to open the passage. And as soon as you enter the next layer you're respawning there. Appreciate the feedback!

katastudios 2025-04-08 03:35

checkpoints don't seem to work for me? Otherwise, the game is right on the edge of hard and fun. Good work!

salaro 2025-04-08 04:42

This is such a cute game with an interesting concept! A little bit difficult but once you get the hang of it you can quickly make it through. Great job!

hollowheartedcabbage 2025-04-08 05:24

looks interesting!

nescre 2025-04-08 05:47

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I uploaded a small patch addressing some of your points. Notably: * You now have a 60% higher starting fuel * You are now knocked back less when hitting walls (I meant to do this before publishing but forgot) * Certain health pickups give more now * Checkpoints are now labelled with text

Love it, really solid gameplay. A bit hard, but fun man :) That song will now be in my head the entire day tho

zjuwindking 2025-04-08 08:00

The USB is so fun!I like these imaginative settings~

transkuja 2025-04-08 18:38

It gets fun once you get the hang of it, congrats

jaxrud 2025-04-08 19:14

Thanks for the feedback!

Tried adding a web build for ease of access, but the web build breaks lighting sadly, so hopefully the video playthrough will be a better impression preview of what the game is.

- Removed the light under the first key so its not mistaken as a checkpoint

Hey! I get a "file not found" error when I click either of the download links

nescre 2025-04-08 20:57

@benski hey man, sorry to hear the download is causing you issues - oddly it seems to be working fine on my end. I've thrown up an itch version in case it works from there instead.

jaxrud 2025-04-08 21:09

I tested with a couple others as well, and the link seems to work fine for all of them. Weird issue, but I have too noticed the download not working on other projects too, so can be a temporary issue with the site.

Really cool idea and concept! Very nice small ideas during the levels.

glurgludor 2025-04-08 22:17

Very well executed, I struggled quite a bit, gg! (I love your logo)

dhdorr 2025-04-08 23:10

really like the graphics both in-game and for the cover art! its all very chonky and cartoony and gives off a playful vibe

monogatari 2025-04-09 00:18

Hey this game is fun and beautiful ! level design is nice too ! I didn't pass the third stage that was too hard for me but good job !

ajores 2025-04-09 00:54

I had a lot of fun with this! Controles were delightfully frustrating, rather enjoyed the challenge here.

I think I found a bug while using the spacebar, where a direction I was pressing would get "stuck" and I would start spinning that direction. Switched to using "up" instead and it was much easier!

marcos-tulio-cavalcante 2025-04-09 01:18

Visually it is very beautiful and it was well programmed. The problem is the difficulty of controlling it, maybe that is the objective but that made me play it only about 3 times.

tryam 2025-04-09 08:49

It seems like an interesting concept. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play. For some reason, the game crashed at startup.

jver422 2025-04-10 14:40

great art style, fun game, works well!

thegreatcarpet 2025-04-10 15:17

The game is great — I honestly didn’t expect to see any games with a computer-related theme. The gameplay is unusual and felt a bit difficult to me, since even the slightest touch with a wall takes away HP. But overall, it’s a cool game with a unique concept! Good job!

jag 2025-04-12 02:45

I really enjoyed the graphics for this, the visuals really look very polished and shippable. And the music was very fun and fit the gameplay style. But the game itself was too frustrating and unforgiving. I made it all the way to the end of the mirror level and was very conservative with my fuel. I picked up every single key, and ran out of fuel in the blue line section even though I got a fresh batch of fuel before heading in. When I restarted and saw that none of my keys were saved, I just couldn't bear to replay ALL of that again :'( I think there should have been a fuel station near the top of the mirror level, or there shouldn't have been any transistors blocking the shaft heading to the top.

nescre 2025-04-12 19:14

@jag yeah I'm realizing in hindsight that I made many portions of it way too brutal on the player - level 3 in particular. Removing the transistors would be a pretty easy fix.

Admittedly, as devs, I think it's easy for us to put blinders on and forget the advantage that knowing everything's layout gives you. Were we to take this further, we'd definitely be more careful of that.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

butterflan 2025-04-13 11:57

The concept is pretty cool but hardcore for me ! The sensibility make it very hard and when you touch a wall is really hard to be okay again;
