Cute game. Charging up the confetti attack and destroying the flying heads is pretty satisfying, and the design of the big creature chasing you is really cool. The map is a bit too big imo, I think you're given too much opportunity to give the creatures a wide berth when collecting the food early on, and the pacing would maybe be a bit better with less distance to travel.

Love the chunky dragon! Fire particles also looks great, but they cover enemies making it hard to aim. But it was fun experience!
It takes dying once or twice for the mechanics to click and then it starts being pretty addictive trying to survive and time the confetti just right. Ended up playing it for a while, my best was 1065 points and level 5 or 6, I'm curious how everyone else got on?
The only little nitpick I have is that in later levels the confetti made my browser lag, which is pretty funny for an 8 bit game. I like the design too, the enemies are really freaky looking. Nice job!

The game is super cute, love seeing PICO8 submissions. Like others have pointed out, I think the map is a bit too big and doesn't fit the theme of "limited space" (I understand that the dragon is meant to have limited space in it's belly, but I think you could have fitted the theme even more). Great job though!

Cool idea to have the dragon breathe fire and destroy enemies every time it eats three meals. Perhaps the action should be zoomed out, as I find myself playing mostly on the radar.
I do have a soft spot for PICO-8, so I dunno how objective I'm being here. The first level felt a little slow, but the sudden appearance of enemies (only visible as dots on the radar) was pretty effective and almost unnerving. I think it's a competently made, cute little game. Well done!

I liked the art and, most of all, I loved the subtle plot twist that the game doesn't tell you anything about the angels :) You just see "oh, it's a cute dragon eating random food" then suddenly "BE NOT AFRAID" 😅
(I also really like how you made something clearly recognizable as a red bull can with so few pixels)
looks nice but I couldn't figure out how to play. The dragon can only fly up and open its mouth. There were no food or enemies for me.
Finally got around to your game! and OMG the rainbow vomit had me rolling on the floor xD and those flying heads are bastards! Love all the attention to detail like the stomach growing. My fave Pico game of the jam!
i played a bit more off strimb and realized i could just hold the button to fly. i was spamming the whole time i was playing the first time lmaoooo i think maybe because i realized it was flying like joust and you cant hold to fly in that one maybe?
it's really fun game mechanically and visually, but i just wish difficulty ramp up quicker (smaller map might be ez fix for this honestly), and also screen wrapping could be sick!?
