Its made for those kind of lost situations, it indicates if you are going far away from the exit or getting closer. So you know where you are going. Of course it doesn't show you where the exit is exactly, you need to find it yourself by trying different directions, that's the challenging part of the game also. If you didn't try it, I suggest you to re-try the game with the scanner :) Be careful though, it costs 10 water power. Enjoy!!

So I used Blockbench for the first time and I am really impressed with the results. I managed to create this environment during the jam, as it is very easy to learn and use. I 100% recommend it :)

Really fun little game! I can easily get glued to my screen and spend hours on it :smile:

After playing it 'fairly' I tried to cheat (or maybe it is a genious idea who knows) and create a long snake to drag with me as I had less and less space to wiggle and try to pop crystals while i dragged the whole map with me lol

It kind of worked but I couldn't make more than 250 in the small time frame I played the game. Well done!

Amazing cute little game perfect for a short jam. I played both jam and post-jam version. Too easy for me, I wish there was more but it is jam game after all :D

Jam version feels like a tutorial to learn the basis of the game and post-jam version adds a good complexity and new mechanics to the game. Loved both.

I have been watching and playing a lot of vertically expanding/stacking games lately and it was such a pleasant thing to see one on this jam. I had a good half an hour run, couldn't do more than 60, unfortunately had bad rolls of rooftops and terraces and not much expandy tiles but had fun nonetheless.

I love tetris and I loved this game too. It was a nice change to play it sideways. Music and sfx were really fitting to the game.

A few things could be tweaked/changed (maybe you already did in your post-jam but here it is anyway). I had trouble understanding corresponding drop lines in 3D. Couldn't fullscreen so it was really tiny to see exact spots even with the blue line indicator. I always forgot about the one pixel space at the back of the train and got frustrated a bit.

Imo, time is unnecessary. We have 10 trains and doing our best to squish robots and reach high score can be enough for the difficulty of the game.

Other than that I had fun playing. I might play more but here is how my first run went. Well done!

Fun concept, simple and executed nicely. Although, game didn't challenge me at all, it was on the easy side. With only 4 urinals and 2 robots, I could go forever and make thousands easily but I stopped at 200+

Game needs more challenge and balance. Probably should go more and more hectic by time. 2 or 3 meeps arriving at once instead of only one. Maybe occasional rush hours with 5 people. So we have to spend our money and buy more urinals and robots. My urinals were mostly empty and my robots were unsued. Didn't get to meet zombies. Sadness :(

Had lots of issues with clicks. Had to click multiple times to register to action.

At this stage it is more of a chill experience than a game (it is ok if that is what you intended)

'Keep the cats happy and healthy' is not a challenge as they are always happy. It probably needs a timer challenge to change their moods if you make them wait too long. For example they might escape if they get really angry, so you have to keep up with their demands to keep them in your shelter. And maybe some new ones join if you do really good. So you keep going until you have no more cats.(or when all cats are adopted) This opens the opportunity to have a time score so people can replay to best themselves or others.

Cute little farming game with tetris/puzzle mechanics, I loved it! Low poly 3D design is great, the farm space is huge which gives me loooots of ideas to make a full game out of this. :smiley:

I think for the mini jam version a few little additions would make it even more fun. Because at some point I planned and planted my farm in a way that I had to wait very long crop time about 30-60 seconds I had nothing to do. It is ok if once or twice but not too much. I would suggest to make growth time shorter or introduce upgrades in game like fertilizer or watering can to speed things up. It would be nice to know what I am planting. Info for the crops would be great instead of next seed (although I had theem in my mind according to their unlock time and shape so I kind of knew what I was planting)

I played it until the end and enjoyed it, well done!

I am addicted! I replayed every level until I did perfect score without missing any order. Last level was challenging as brocoli is huuuuuuuuuuge :smile:

I liked that they fit to the garden as tetris pieces, makes you think about every little space and plan ahead and run full capacity.

One thing I had trouble with was I put a wrong fruit in the juicer but I couldn't take it out before pressing it. Unfortunately I had to squueze it but it was the wrong order with the wrong fruit and I had to dump everything in the compost which made me lose time and the level. Maybe we should be able to trash things before juicing them (be able to take things from the juicer before pressing)

Other than that, I loved everyting. Well done!

I had a couple of bugs/issues here and there. Got stuck on certain walls for some reason, died a couple of times while I was trying to dash escaping the light. I was also hit by garlic while the game was in text mode. But I was stuck, couldn't move.

It is ok to read and wait for the text once but it sucks (!) to wait every time. Especially when you want a quick restart and eager to play as soon as possible. Making it skippable by click or escape would fix it easily. (or unlock the movement, so player can keep playing)

Unique idea, cute art, great music and SFX, well done!

P.S. just saw your posts about fixing/aswering to some of those issues. Good job!

really love the concept, with some practice I was much better at drawing. Although I had to try a couple of times as the rng screwed me over and gave me just bones the first try. So I had a very bad luck there. The drawing sound is very scratchy and I had to unfortunately mute the sound but its sad because the other sfx were really nice and relaxing.

Overall, I had fun and wanted to see more.

During stream, being sleep deprived, I managed to do 39. Completely forgot to pay attention to the score, I was just vibing XD

I came back to see if I can beat my score and... Well, I did better. Did you change the game? It is much different, ships are faster, it also felt easier etc. If you did change it, I suggest you to keep the original one for the jam and a seperated post-jam version. So jammers can check both and see the differences and can vote on the original state (we can check it out again and speak about it during the next streams if you wish)

@digitaliliad Togis told me you identified the problem with the speed and the bug making the game a whole different game.

I actually 'killed' myself by letting the game run itself at 306 score. It was super easy, very different from the game we played on stream. I was around 100 score and I still had 60 something faith. It became very repetitive and I could go forever with thousands of score easily. But that is not fun. It just needs a whole lot of balance.

I love the idea of the game, once again, great job on first Godot game and it was amazing to meet you on this LD :D As for the feedback, the ones we gave during the stream still applies.

Some challenges to make it more engaging; krakens, sirens, whirlpools.. Strong chimes sfx, some particles effects when you reach the temple, killing pirates can give some points as good karma, different difficulty ships perhaps...

Keep on working on this, if you are passionate about it. It will be an amazing game that I would be absolutely addicted :D

Oh my Meow! I love this! Spent a good 1 hour to Max everything out. But it kept going and going so I stopped lol. Maybe I needed faster fishies and didn't push more for it, it took a while.

Gnorp is my top 3 games that I played this year and I spent a whole weekend completing it. I will pay money for this game on Steam and happily sacrifice another weekend for it :smile:

Like everyone mentioned before me, yes, game needs balance, especially the beginning and the last quarter.

Well done with the sticker 2D style in a 3D world. Managed to beat the game in one shot. Some little glitches and clunkiness here and there but overall there was enough challenge and some puzzle problem solving elements to the game. Loved the SFX haha

So adorable! Excellent art and mood. I love idle games and I liked seeing the tiny fishies go zoom when we clicked on them. Built the ship, took about half an hour and it was a great half an hour. Let me tell you, if it was a paid Steam game, I would buy it and spent a whole weekend on it :)

Had no problem of pacing and slowness of the game. It was more about the resources were not balanced. I stopped upgrading 1st and 3rd fishies after a while as I had excessive number or resources and I didn't need any more to finish the game. Other than that, great job!
